My childbirth teacher said there is no amount of oil, creme, or magic potions that will take them away or prevent them from happening, she said its genetic and you don't have a choice, you could put as much or as little on as you want and if you are going to get em you're going to get em. I too only have a few little ones on my right lower side and I was doind so well not getting them I thought screw genetics...then they appeared a week ago, I just about cried but I already know its in my family I've had a few at least they fade well. I don't know what they mean as far as wives tales I just know there is nothing we can do.
