No ultrasound. I have to wait until this Friday.

There are a few people from Knoxville going to AZ so I won't be traveling "alone" but I won't have my hubby with me for five days! Rob doesn't think it's something Ron needs to go on. It's marketing related and I'm the marketing girl so I get to go.

We have our names on a waiting list for a daycare that is really good. It's where my sister took her son. It's at Broadway Baptist Church on E. Broadway. They have a really good faith-based program. I guess we should probably have our names on more than one, cause you never know if you can get in until when you need to be in.

We went to a maternity store on Saturday and I bought a bunch of clothes. It was actually exciting to try on clothes. I hate shopping, but I really enjoyed that.

I leave for vacation on Saturday morning and will be gone for a week then I have to turn around on the following Sunday and leave for Arizona for another week so I won't be online for two weeks after Friday. I'll try to come back to work after the ultrasound so I can at least let you know if it's a boy or girl.

Make sure you get up and walk around on the plane and make Jason stop a lot during your 12-hour drive so you can get out and stretch your legs. You don't want to develop blood clots.
Rob just told me yesterday that I have to fly to Scottsdale, Arizona at the end of this month. I want to go because I've never been there, but Ron doesn't get to go with me and it's going to be over 100 degrees. I have to stay for a week helping them with marketing stuff.
I'll let you know if they do an ultrasound today at my appointment. I'm going to beg.

Sometimes you can tell the sex as early as 12 weeks. Katie, here at work, found out she was having a boy at 12 weeks. Everything I've read says you should find out sometime between 18 and 20 weeks. I'll be at the end of my 17th week when I go on Friday so I'm gonna beg for one. I'm dying to decorate the nursery!
We are going to the beach August 16 - August 23. I'm afraid I'm gonna be miserable in the heat. It already wears me out just to walk the dog.

No I haven't felt any movement yet...at least any that I'm sure is baby and not gas. :-) I had an ultrasound at the hospital the other night. Ron was up there for a kidney stone and I took advantage of the crew knowing the ultrasound tech. The baby kept it's legs crossed the whole time so I couldn't find out the sex. I go to the doc next Friday. Hopefully they'll do an ultrasound then. Are you feeling okay? Is your morning sickness still there?

We were at the Grand Canyon in that first one and at Niagra Falls in the second. We went to Las Vegas with Judy and Joe Cole last year and took a day to visit the Grand Canyon. The trip to Niagra Falls was a spur of the moment trip when we were in Cleveland, OH for the women's NCAA Final Four. We had a day in between games so we drove over to the Falls for the day.
How have you been feeling? Still sick? When is your next doctor's appointment? Mine is August 8th and they better do an ultrasound. I'm DYING to know if we are having a boy or girl. We wanna come see you guys but don't know when we'll have time. Are you all usually busy/working on the weekends?
Will you be coming home at some point before you deliver? I'd like to give you a shower if you can come home. I've had lots of people asking me about you.

Well, I won't rub it in that I haven't been sick. I love your names. Ours are Ella Grace (Ella is his grandmother's name) and Colton Dean (Dean is his and his dad's middle name). He also likes Ella Paige since my middle name is Paige. We'll see. I still think it's gonna be a boy simply because I want a girl. But I'm like you...I'll be happy no matter what. Ginger doesn't work here anymore. She went to E TN med group. :-(

I'm a little disappointed that my appointments haven't been more exciting. I thought each one would be full of new and fun things. I guess I should just be glad that I'm having a "normal" pregnancy and none of the fancy stuff needs to be done. I do wish that they would take a little more time with the heartbeat. I read that if it's over 140 it's a girl and if it's under 140 it's a boy. Our very first ultrasound (5w6d) the tech said the heartbeat was 140. What does that mean for the sex?!?! I'm dying to know, but I'm with you. I won't know until the big ultrasound at 18-20 weeks. They might do one at the quad screening but that's still more than a month away. I've read lots of other women talking about their fourth, fifth, and six ultrasound. It looks like I'm getting two and that's it.
I want a girl so bad I can't stand it, but my gut feeling is that it's a boy. Obviously, I'll be happy no matter what the sex is. How about you? Do you have names picked out?
