So Cailyn is 2 months and one day old! She got her first round of shots yesterday, suprisingly her cries did not last but a few seconds, then she was like nothing happened. But she did sleep a lot! Which was good. Gave me a little break. Since I wrote last, i have officially quit my job that i was on maternity leave for. I am now babysitting 2 girls, both 2 years old, just like my daughter. Busy busy, but i love having the opportunity to stay home with my kiddos.

Cailyn also started officially smiling while at the doctors office yesterday! So cute! Ill post some pix...

So here's my birthstory, hope i can type it fast, before baby wakes up!

Friday 7am, got my room..7:45am started pitocin...10am Doctor came and broke my water, 10:45am, EPIDURAL! 12:15pm started feeling lots of rectal and cervical pressure, 12:45pm, I was at 9cm, by 1pm i was like, don't quit checking me! I was at 10cm at 1pm...Took them till 1:15 to set up, im all like, okay, im ready to push! So at about 1:17 I started pushing, (3 rounds of pushing) Out she popped at 1:21pm!

Breastfeeding:

First couple days OMG my nipples were so sore I was crying, I was about to give up until I knew my milk was coming in..I had my husband go get me some Lansinoh Lanolin...whew! That has helped with the soreness...

So last nite, my milk started coming in..Today I am soooo heavy! Poor baby, she couldn't get a good latch, she would get frustrated and cry. It is a big relief that she will get full faster, so Im not sitting there forever waiting for her to be done.

Baby Poo:

Finally starting to get the regular poo...Thank goodness the tarry meconium is passed.

She is such a cute baby. She hates to get unwrapped and get her diaper changed, she kicks her legs like crazy and cries.

Okay, thats about all the time i have, she's awake! Will update later! She has her newborn visit tomorrow!

So Saturday nite, i fell asleep in the chair with my 2 year old daughter, she had a sippy cup of water, which i could have sworn was nearly empty...Well, a couple hours later I woke up...got up to lay her in her bed, and i was like, man my shorts are wet..I layed her down, went to the bathroom and my panties and shorts were soaked thru! I thought oh crap, did my water break? Feeling like an idiot, cause i wasn't sure, I called my doctor (its almost midnite) and he tells me to head into Labor and Delivery, have them check me out..Well, i got the monitors hooked up to me, had a swab done, and it came back negative for amniotic fluid...Whew!...I still felt dumb, but they reassured me i did the right thing coming in to make sure....Well, from my Friday appointment to Saturday (middle of the nite) I had gone from almost 3cm to a definite 3cm...And from 30% effaced to 50% effaced....The nurse at the hospital said i would probably spot or have "mucous" for the next couple days from the exam...Well, right after that, i did have some gross stuff come off on the toilet paper....Then this morning, I had some more "snot" like substance...I read What to Expect exerpt from 9 months, and it did say after sex or an exam i would have that yucky stuff for the next 48 hours...So so far I haven't seen my mucous plug...Since im due for induction on Friday, i would like not to lose it yet! LOL..I have my babysitter set up and my husbands vacation all set up for Friday..haha....My mom told me to stay sitting and cross my legs till Friday! LOL...Well, Ill keep ya posted...

TODAY AT THE DOCTOR, I WAS ALMOST AT 3CM AND 30% EFFACED! THE BABY IS LIKELY TO BE OVER 8LBS....WISH ME LUCK ON HER FITTING THRU THE BIRTH CANAL! MY FIRST WAS 7LBS 15OZ, MY SECOND WAS 8LBS 7OZ, SO SHE BETTER BE AT THAT OR SMALLER! LOL..THE DOCTOR ALSO SAID 'HEY, IM ON THIS WEEKEND, IF YOU DECIDE TO GO INTO LABOR!'...IM ALL LIKE..'WELL, SHE BETTER WAIT, MY HUBBYS VACATION DOESN'T START TILL NEXT FRIDAY'...HAHA....IT REALLY HIT ME TODAY, THAT I ONLY HAVE ONE MORE WEEK, THE RECEPTIONIST AND NURSE ALL SAID 'GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DELIVERY'...I ALMOST STARTED CRYING, I WAS SO EXCITED...IM REALLY WANTING TO CLEAN HOUSE TODAY! I BETTER GET ON IT!

So i guess what i wrote Friday has somehow been erased....I went to the doctor Friday, told him i was having sharp pains against my cervix (just baby pressure when she moves) and so he went ahead and checked, sure enough, im dilated to 2cm! WooHoo! He scheduled me for induction a week early! January 18th/Friday! I can't wait! Im tired of feeling like she trying to come out my booty! LOL...He said that was normal too, just her getting into position...Ugh, my back! Talk to you all later!

Well i so slept thru the ball drop...I was sooo mad! I wanted to see New Yorks new ball they replaced..Im weird, i know..Anywho, i told my son, wake me at 11:45...I woke up at 12:01! Urghh..Oh well...Happy New Years anyways! : )

I have been nesting like crazy, first a couple weeks ago on my son's room..Then this morning, i put away all the christmas stuff, and made room for the pack n play and swing in the living room..I got the carseat cover washed up, got her diaper bag packed, baby clothes washed and put away...Come on, hurry up due date! Actually im hoping for a couple days before, when my hubby starts his vacation from work...

So i guess Ill keep myself busy cleaning till she's ready to come out....*sigh*....Guess I also better catch some extra "z's"...LOL...Later!

Merry Christmas everyone! It's yet another yummy holiday! Although this is another excuse to eat lots, i haven't much room to stuff myself silly lately! I went for an ultrasound today to measure baby...She is weighing approx 5lbs 1oz...and has the cutest face! If only she would have moved her hand out of the way...We did get to see her right eye open..Hehe..Her hair was picked up on ultrasound too! I bet she'll have lots of hair just like her siblings! Bad news for me, i don't get to induce on Jan 22nd, like I hoped...My doctor is busy with surgeries that day!! : ( Waaa!!! So i don't know we may induce a different day or see if she comes by the day before her due date, and if not, induce on her due date (Jan 26)...I just got to be home before we have to move...LOL...Ill keep u posted...

Went for my 32 week visit yesterday. I actually lost 2 lbs....I was stepping on the scale and told the medical assistant..."hey, it was the holidays, can u be sure to take off 5 lbs!?" She goes, "you actually lost some"...but she didn't tell me how much...The doctor told me i lost 2 lbs, but that was okay.

He did want to schedule another ultrasound on my next visit to check the baby's weight, since I measured 2 cm ahead...He said "it could be a big baby or extra tummy" I said "well, i can almost assure you it's "extra tummy" because I have measured big in my last 2 babies, and it was always my tummy." So my next visit is December 13th...I also let him know that we had to move on Jan 31st, was there anyway to induce a few days early, to assure i had her and was home by then. He said we can discuss induction about a week or so before im due.

Babies heartbeat was in 140's...still head down...I was concerned that she was turned cause ive been real uncomfortable lately, he told me i was more than likely being "elbowed" by baby girl! She is also big enough to be jamming up into my ribs...

I also noticed the past 2 weeks that she has been sitting on my bladder, cause i got to pee like every 5 minutes! I have also felt pressure on my booty sometimes....like shes pushing her foot or something against my booty, and thats not comfy! I sometimes also feel a painful twinge against my cervix, which im sure that's once again her stretching out!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I know we are already stuffed with baby bellies, but I can't wait to stuff myself silly with Turkey and fixings tomorrow! Hope you all have a safe and happy holiday! O my gosh, i haven't felt this grumpy in a long time. I just am in the worst mood! I was sitting in the recliner with my 2 year old, she was falling asleep, and my pregnancy-brought-on RLS kicked in, and i got the creepy crawly feeling in my legs....and I just want to cry over every little thing. Im sick of the house being a disaster, Im sick of the water pressure in the house sucking....Im tired of being tired, im tired of everything making me sooooo impatient!!!! My back hurts too! My car is poop.....Arrgghhhh...I just want to feel calm again..LOL....I had to get that off my chest..Okay........take a deep breath...........not working...hahahaha....Okay, hope tomorrow gets better... : ( Im on an emotional roller coaster right now!

So, yay time is flying by faster. Baby girl was jumping around this morning when I woke up, it was like I was a trampoline...I had my husband put his head on my belly, he was like, she's kicking the s*** out of my ear! LOL...Yeppers and that sciatica is really getting the best of me this last 2 days...owwwww...is all i got to say..haha...

OMG i don't think i have ever been this nervous, anxious!!! My stomach is full of butterflies and a baby...LOL....I find out in 2 hours if it is a boy or girl. I am so nervous, my heart is pounding..haha....Well, I will be calling the ones I can call and email the rest of you! Wish me luck getting up off that table, cause once I lay down for the utlrasound that stupid Sciatica is going to act up, it always does!!! LOL...........

I totally felt a whole bunch of tiny kicks and squirms last nite...I usually have to sit a little foward to feel them the most. Still waiting for those strong kicks. I notice some of you post your myspace url's...So I will post mine. Trying to find due date buddies. Im due January 26th 2008. I also turn the big 3-1 tomorrow..Not looking foward to getting closer to my mid 30's...haha..I remember when my mom was 31! LOL...Aaahhh! Have a great week!

I just went to my 15 week check up today. The doctor said to come back in 4 weeks/sept 3rd for the Anatomy Ultrasound and a visit. I can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl..

My 8 yr old son can't wait to know if he will have a new brother or sister. My 22 month old daughter has no clue...I show her my belly and tell her "baby"..she puts her finger in my belly button and pushes it hard and says baby! One day she pointed to her belly button and said baby! LOL...I know she's gonna be jealous, but Im going to get her baby doll furniture so she can do what I do when the baby comes...I just hope she doesn't try and put the real baby in the doll furniture..LOL..

I am 30 (but my 31st birthday is coming up in August)....I am married with 2 kids and 1 on the way...My kids are boy-8 and a girl 1(her 2nd b-day is coming up in Sept)...Not sure what the sex of the new baby is...We are still working on names.........

Im due January 26, 2008 and can't wait!

I love the information this site has, and I enjoy seeing belly photos, it gets me ready knowing what my belly will look like soon, and I can't wait. People at work can already tell Im "showing" ...I've been out of work for most of the first trimester, so they hadn't seen me in a while. Im so glad my morning sickness is ending..I feel a lot better! Of course when I eat im still a little hungry, so when i eat just a bit more, I know it was a mistake, as it makes me nauseated! Haha... Well, Ill write more later!
