Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

I was just seeing a show where the lady was being asked to have her husband rub her breast for about 20 min or was given the option of using a breast pump to try to get herself to go into labor. Maybe you want to try that at home yourself...they say breast stimulation and sex are the best two methods of trying to get your body to go into labor naturally if it is ready. Good luck.

Just read your post and I'm not really sure what he could do other than stretch your cervix if he's not going to induce you; owe wait he could break your water, I don't think they consider that 'inducing' so maybe that's what he means. Good luck, I sure hope I go into labor pretty soon.

I love the beding, I think you'll like it too. I painted the circles and fish on the walls. I found the circle stencils at Hobby Lobby and then but stencil paper for the fish so we could draw them out ourselves. It really was pretty easy but just took a little time.

Hi mina... just read your comment and the same thing happened to me. They gave me a shot that would make the baby's lungs mature if by chance the contractions didn't stop and the baby was born. This steriod would make the baby produce a thing called surfactant which makes it so the lungs wouldn't collapse when he came into the world. Luckily I was able to hold him in there so I didn't have to see if it worked or not. Hope you are feeling better. Def. take it easy and relax in bed or on the couch as much as you can!

oh wow! yeah that will be hard...its hard for me and all i have to do is take care of myself. I just hate sitting and laying around I want to get up and do something but then I do it just turns around to bite me in the butt lol...

Hey there...I also have been giving the shot probably the same one i think there is a couple different ones.. I'm not really sure much about the medicine other than the fact its suppose to get the lungs ready incase I have my baby too early she said it was a type of steroid. But other than that I'm not really sure either...best of luck to you! Are you stuck then on bedrest also until you deliver? I am...and oh my god boring haha....

I have heard of women being given that shot. I've heard they do it to try to get the lungs more mature, so if the baby does come preterm, they have a better chance at breathing on their own.

Mina, I feel that you should call your doctor and just let him/her know about the brown mucous. If it is your plug, you want to make sure you are protected from infections/bacteria.

If it's brown it usually means that there is some blood somewhere along the way that is coming out. My discharge(not that you want to know this)is clear to whitish. If it's brown I would ask my doctor. It's probably nothing, but just to be safe maybe call the nurse line (avoid the cost of the appt possibly). They'll tell you whether to go in or not. Hope all is well!

thank you for your advise. Um so all I would need is his name and date of birth? what if thats all I have will they find him? Now because, he lives in another state will they make him come back to va for test and court? and lets say when they prove his is the father since its will be a new born will I have to send my baby to a place I never even been? Or does he have to come here for visitation? Im scared to leave him with my child. He is not responsible. But, I can't prove it until something happens. I think it would be to soon for my baby to go hundreds of miles away without its mother. I have to breast feed the baby. So how does visitation work?
