2007- 2008 has brought some major changes to my life, all positive. It's amazing how you can love someone that you have never even met.

My husband and I are soo excited to bring a beautiful little girl into this world. We were engaged last fall after 2 years, bought a house in October and found out I was pregnant in November. It was not planned, but I would not take it back for anything..we went to Vegas in January and eloped. So simple and easy. Down the road we plan on having a real wedding, but Olivia is our main focus right now.

Olivia Irelyn Swan will be her name...Already the center of my universe and I think she already knows it. She is very active and it never gets old feeling her move.

June 17th - Today I had my checkup. The doctor checked me to see if Olivia has dropped and she is in position. I am dilated to 1cm, not much.. but it's a start. haha.. The last few days I have been having stronger BH's and am feeling more pressure on my bladder and hips. I am not due for 17 days, but thinking she might come early. Wish me luck...

Hey - my ankles are starting to swell, too, and a friend of mine's popped at week 33 and were like tree trunks. I think we're getting to that point. But if you start to swell excessively in your face and hands I think is when you call the dr. Ankles and feet make more sense, unfortunately. :S

Her biggest problem is constantly bringing up what his ex-girlfriend is doing and inviting her to every family event possible. She goes out of her way to make sure she makes me feel out of place - she will flat out ignore me and not speak the entire time I am there. We buy her kids things they need and she only acknowledges that they are from my husband, not from the both of us. She makes a point to always tell my husband when she and his ex get together, how much her kids love his ex-gf! And she won't even let the kids come to our house. I am not threatened at all by his ex-gf, I mean, that is petty- but I don't appreciate the fact that his sister and mother make sure to point out that the ex-gf is part of their family and I am not considered to be!!

Thanks for the encouragement! That is the hardest part - biting the bullet! It's just wrong for them to get away with what they do, and it's usually the person who is getting 'wronged' who has to be the bigger person. It's not fair. I am just going to try to be civil and try to not hold a grudge! It's not going to be easy, but we'll see how it goes!

Unfortunately, no not yet. My hubbys father has been out of town for about a week, so we haven't had the chance to. He comes back tomorrow night though, so it will definitely be either then, or in the morning. He's been delaying it for so long! It's starting to piss me off! How's everything with you and baby?

Hoping for a girl since I have a little guy now. The baby's HR was 160 last appt, and I guess that could be an indicator for girl, so keep your fingers crossed for me!

I'm not small in frame and had hips to begin with, but good god! This is almost ridiculous. And I won't even get started on the boobs - I haven't jumped into that conversation on the board. :) I would love to go a wee bit early, as long as I can get some things out of the way first. And I'm with you - about anything is ok with me as long as the little man (and I) both leave healthy! I'm a simple girl!
