This is my story:-

Me and my adorable husband Steve have been trying to conceive since January 2007. After nearly a year of TTC we were sent for fertility tests and 3 days before we went to get the test results I found out I was pregnant. We were absolutely over the moon because we thought there was something wrong with one of us and this proved that there wasn't. We told everyone about the pregnancy as we were so excited and we made plans for the baby that we'd wanted so badly. It totally took over our lives and we couldn't have wished for anything more. 10 weeks later I had a miscarriage. It hit us really hard and I ended up on medication for anxiety for 3 months as I started suffering with panic attacks and was generally depressed.

Just as I was starting to feel like myself again in June 2008 I fell pregnant again, this time we were even more excited but we tried not to show it as we were scared that the same thing could happen again. On 31st July it DID happen again and I lost my 2nd baby at 5 weeks and 1 day.

So we are now trying to pick up the pieces and move on but it is so difficult. I keep thinking to myself, if I get pregnant for a third time am I going to have to go through this again? Am I doing something wrong to cause these miscarriages? Am I ever going to be able to carry full term? There are so many questions I want answers to but I probably won't ever get them.

I am trying to be positive and believe that we will be parents in the near future but I feel like I've waited such a long time and we've been through so much heartache that it feels like it's never going to happen.

I want to thank all of you lovely, wonderful, kind, caring ladies on this website who truly amaze me each and every day. Whoever invented this website deserves a medal because without it I wouldn't have coped as well as I have in the past. I received so many helpful messages both times I miscarried and they mean so much. I haven't replied to you all because I just get upset but I will be back to my normal TTC self in a few weeks and the positive Minkymoo/Helen will be back, I PROMISE.

you both look wonderful in the wedding pic very cute dress,my hubby too goes to his cardiologist every six months cuz back in 2002 he was diagnose with congested heart failure,but at that time we also loss him cuz he had a lot of fluid around his heart and he had to spend 1 whole week in the hospital so there can get the fluid,the first in the hospital he loss 30lbs so you can image how much fluid he had,so now he is on meds for the water,coreg for his heart exforge for blood pressure but he's doing a lot once he keep up with his dr ,eating much healthier and taking his meds,well i hope all goes well you and please keep me posted.

hiya chick, im not sure how i feel today im abit confused im soo sleepy but had a good nights sleep so don't know why that is, my boobs feel a lil bit sore and i don't really feel sick today i did a test this morning too and it was a bfn but is was a cheapo one and when i read your blogs last month its said the cheapo ones didn't work for you either only clearblue ones picked it up so im stumped maybe ill have to do the same use my clearblue another day or just accept i maybe not pregnant again this month im just soo confused! it will all become clear in the end though i just can't stand the wait feels like it went quick up until now but dragging now grr so as i say im feeling a tad grumpy lol and sad but i'll pick up again soon i just wish i knew hope your feelin better! luv steph xx

I'm okay. I'm a little bummed because I've been charting my BBT and it's been so erratic that I couldn't find any sort of pattern. fertility friend suggested to switch to the vaginal temp method and BAM, I think I already ovulated but I don't know when!

Well im not feeling to great today.. im having dizzy spells nausea and headaches..for about a few days now. i just started getting dizzy today out of nowhere i dont no whats going on with my body but im not suppose to get my af till next month on the 6th but we will see im tired of getting my hopes up and im not im just going to let it happen but wish me luck ladies.. oh by the way im going to jamaica on wednesday cant wait!

Hey! How are things going with you? An HSG is where they basically shoot dye up in your tubes and into your uterus to make sure there is no blockage in the tubes and no abnormalities, etc. I had it done yesterday and it wasn't fun, but I survived! ha ha. Anyway, good luck to you. Hopefully you get some good news soon!!!

Hey love, d'you ever get the feeling everything's against you? Thought this might make you smile...... You know how worried I have been about the result I got re the glucose, well, today I had to go back for my return test. However, got to the docs this morning, nerves going like crazy... only to discover their shutter was broken and they couldn't open up!!!!! So no test. Re-scheduled for Tues am, but as I'm at hosp on Monday will probably just tell them and they will re-do me there I imagine. What else can this pregnancy lark throw at me? Hiya hun...just read your last two blogs and they sound really positive, (well todays isn't as positive as y'days) but what I can say is that all the symptoms sound very very positive. I know its hard but try not to think about the symptoms too much as you said yourself you felt preggers (and its gut instinct that matters) I still have days where I don't feel preggers and as you know I'm around 8wks now soo...don't beat yourself up about it I'm almost certain that your going to get your BFP this mth.
GOSH I'm soo excited I can't even begin to think how you must feel at this point, the waiting game is the most dreadful thing ever isn't it, glad your keeping busy though.
To answer your question about whether I'm showing yet...well I think soo but Sean would just say It's just cause I'm bloated after dinner haha (cheeky sod...lol), all my usual clothes are a little tight around the waist but I'm really worried with this pregnancy as it was only 7 months after having Grace I'm going to be the size of a house (although I've been trying to eat really healthily, and I've also enquired about an aquenatal class at my local pool) so hopefully I'll be going to that starting the 22 September.
Anyway, I'm sure all these lovely signs you've been having are as my fella would say "A GOOD EGG". I'm keeping everything crossed for the next few days/weeks for both you and Stephbmw and sending you all the most sticky babydust ever...lol take care hun xxx

Sorry to sound dim but what is a HSG?

The full term is Hysterosalpingogram. It's one of the procedure they do when you are having trouble conceiving. They place a catherer in your uterus and then put dye into the fallopian tubes to see if they are blockages in the tubes that could be causing you not to conceive.
I read your page and I'm so sorry that you are dealing with such pain.
