Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sunday, 13 April I know that normally we are not supposed to take any aspirin...but for the flight my doctor had me take one really low dose "baby" aspirin. It was fine when I did it...but I would check with your doctor first =) raindrop0208 -
Wednesday, 9 April I flew two weeks ago (5 hr flight) ...and my doctor had me take ONE baby aspirin before each flight to avoid getting blood clots which could put both my baby and I at risk. Also, stay really hydrated, bring snacks, walk around alot, and wear comfy clothing. =) One more thing! don't walk through the metal detector...have them pat you down instead! That's all the suggestions that I have !! Hope it helps! **have a fun trip*** jamie2917 -
Wednesday, 9 April I would ask your doc first before flying...I think that after 32 weeks they pretty much want you to stay put....but that is just what I remember from my last pregnancy. aubreyd08 -
Wednesday, 9 April Hi from week 34! I just noticed your your comment about flying at week 32 and 33. Have you contacted your airline to verify that they will allow you to fly? Most airlines will not allow a pregnant woman to fly if they are past 28 weeks without a note from your doctor stating that there is no risk of you going into preterm labor. Just food for thought. Good luck! :) featherweight -
Saturday, 16 Feb My doctor recommended a product called expecta which is an omega3 capsule especially formulated for pregnant women. I take them every day and it's over-the-counter (sometimes you have to ask for it at the pharmacy section but you don't need a prescription for it). melis148 -
Saturday, 16 Feb Omega 3 or DHA has been shown to be really important to the baby's neural development. You can get these in your prenatals(ask your dr.) or you can take a DHA pill alone(get a drug store) I take them in my prenatal and hey, it can't hurt! margysd -
