Hey Girl! How have you been? I had my big US today and despite some spotting everything looks good. We found out we're having a boy!

Well it's finally over. It was not as bad as I made it out to be. Although I still freaked out and they had to drug me LOL. I have not had any pain at all, just a little discomfort and no bleeding, not even spotting. So far I'm doing great and going back to work on Monday. Thanks for your support!

Hey Hun, I can't feel my twins either - my placenta is at the front - but it still does not make me feel any better. I worry but in way it is nice to know someone else is having that too. Hopefully we will feel our bubs soon - maybe it is a blessing that we are not getting the kickings that some of the others are getting! Keep me posted with your progress. Taz x

Miracle Baby08 - Hang in there. Some things do not happen at the same time at others for us "fluffy" girls. You do not appear to be that much overweight. Hang in there. In the books I have read they same some people do not feel anything until week 26. I am going to guess you have flutters and do not realize what they are at first. They really do feel like gas or butterflies. It is hard to describe. At least you feel the baby moving on the monitor. Keep the monitor in one place for longer periods and more than likely you will pick up her heart rate. Be sure to use enough gel because that can cause problems with picking up the actual heart beat. Hang in there kiddo! Congratulations!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm scheduled for the serclage next Wednesday. My peri says they'll do a spinal, but if I freak out they may do IV sedation. We'll see. I think I would prefer to be knocked out LOL. He also said if all goes well, I can go back to work the next day. Although I took the day off just in case. At this point I feel the same, the benefits do out way the risks.

Thank you for the comforting feedback! I didn't know IV sedation was an option. How exactly does that work? Are you on bed rest now? I'm gonna get over my selfish fears and go for it. Once again thanks and best of luck to you!

There are a lot of people who knock daycare, but we love the place we found. Luckily it's only a mile away from where I work so I can go over at lunch everyday. That's what makes me feel a little better about the whole thing. We have no family in the area to help either, but its funny because when we mention daycare, everyone gasps! What else can you do these days with a mortgage to pay! Not to mention the cost of daycare (ours is over $1000 per month!!)
