Just counting down the days till my lil girl Madyson gets here. This is my first so I'm pretty excited a lil nervous too, but I'm sure I'll do great. I have alot of support from family and my friends have kids too so there very much there for me. My back is starting to hurt, feet are swelling thank God for pedicures, also kind of scared of BH I heard it's painful. I'm starting to waddle a lil bit too lol, still working probably up until 3 days b4 I'm due or unless the dr says otherwise. She will be a mix of Jamaican(Me) and Dominican and Indian (Father) weird I know lol... I just hope she come's on time b/c I really don't know how much more I can take, she is kicking my ass...

10-4-07---> Had another ultrasound today to check her weight again the last time she was 5.5 pounds so I will find out at my next dr appt if I make it lol... The midwife said that I measured smaller than last week so she just want to make sure. I told her that my appetite hasn't been like it used to be I'm not as hungry anymore and I get nacious sometimes. She said that it could be that the baby is taking up most of the room now so I get full quicker. I also only gained 33 pounds which I really thought I would gain more, but I guess not...

10-7-07----> OMG I finally finished my room, I had to recarpet it paint it and everything. Mind you I'm due saturday thank god :) I can't wait to see her. I alway's take forever to do everything. My two best friends came over to help me and my mother with my room, of course I couldn't do much b/c they would not let me lift a thing. They helped out alot but me and my mother did the rest when it came to bringing just little things back into my room for some reason my room looks alot bigger we didn't finish till 2:30 in the morning. I was done for, my mother fell asleep on my bed lol... Now I just waiting to go into labor now that everything is finally done....

Birth Story I went into labor on Monday 10-8-07, I was 39 weeks and 4 days prego. I started having contractions at 9:37am. I didn't call my midwife until about an hour into it. She was actually delivering a baby so they said they would have her call me back, after an hour she did. I told her how far apart the contractions were and she said I'm definately in labor, and to call her back when they were 5 mins apart. Around 6:30pm they began to come every 5-6 mins, so I decided to call her back, she said to come in to the hospital. I called my sister to come and get me got all my stuff ready. Got to the hospital around 7pm, and they took me to the labor and delivery room. Changed into a gown and they put the montior on me to monitor the babys heart. Took my blood pressure which was pretty high so they decided to admit me based on that. Time progressed and the contractions got stronger, after a while I was getting tired so I asked if they could give me anything to help me fall asleep, they came in with some benadryl. Which I think made me nacious b/c after a while I started throwing up I threw up about 5 times until finally my water broke. At the end I ended up with a beautiful baby girl born at 4:10 am tuesday morning 6lbs,10oz and 20 1/2 inches long, and I cried like a baby lol.... Pregnancy Survey
