I am 29 and my husband (Rod) is 30. In the last 2 years we bought a house together, got engaged, got married (in Jamaica), got pregnant, had a miscarraige, and got pregnant again. We've been cautiously optimistic this time around, after a devastating loss this past November. We went for our first ultrasound yesterday when I should have been 6w2d, and I was really hoping to see the heartbeat. To my surprise, not only was there one heartbeat, but there were TWO! Yup! I'm pregnant with TWINS! I can hardly believe it myself. Baby A measured 6w3d and baby B measured 6w2d. Both had heart beats over 160 BPM. We are just ECSTATIC. Of course with that comes all the worrying about what could go wrong, but right now I am optimistic that my babies will continue to grow and be healthy little beans. We go back for our next ultrasound on 4-28-08, when I should be about 8.5 weeks.

4-28-08 The ultrasound was wonderful, and both babies look perfect! I can't believe how much bigger they are already. I have officially been released to my OBGYN, with my next appt scheduled for 5-19-08. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll get another ultrasound until around 20 weeks, but we'll see. Maybe I can talk them into it. ;) I still have some pretty major morning/afternoon/evening sickness, and I'm looking forward to the second trimester, in hopes that it lets up some.

5-19-08 We got to hear the HB's with the doppler today (over 170 bpm) AND we got another ultrasound. The doctor said we'll get one at every appt, so I'm SO excited. The babies are both measuring a little bit ahead, and they are growing like crazy. I've uploaded ultrasound pics. Baby B is face down, and Baby A is looking right at us. :) It's so magical to see them as they grow. I couldn't be happier. Next appt is 6-18-08 when I'll be almost 16 weeks. I'm hoping they will be able to tell the sexes at that appt.

6-23-08 We just found out today that it's TWO BOYS!!! We couldn't be happier. Their names are Madden and Myles. :)
