Thursday, 10 April Not every one gets BH contractions. With my first I didn't have them at all. Maybe you are one of the lucky ones!

Thursday, 10 April Just to let you know--my BH contractions arent painful either! I am due in 2 days and just recently started getting contractions that have a little substance to them! A friend of mine didnt feel any pain until they broke her water in the hospital...It is normal!! Good Luck! mela -
Thursday, 10 April I haven't felt any contractions or BH either. I feel the tightening but don't know if it's the baby stretching or what, because it doesn't hurt, it actually feels nice! So you are not alone on the pain thing! Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy gypsyfleur -
Wednesday, 9 April Hey just checking in on you to see if you are doing okay....I had you on my mind last night....these hormones are a killer...or rather I could be while pregnant.....one minute I am so happy the next I am looking for a target...and well your babies daddy is a good target at the moment...Well I head to the hospital tonight at midnight for induction so I may be out of loop for awhile....But just know you have a friend in Florida thinking of you...Keep your chin up girly.... gypsyfleur -
Tuesday, 8 April OH WOW I am sorry that it hurts you I can only imagine....but on a better note...just think you aren't the 2nd time girl wearing the 2nd time ring...sounds like he wants to hurt you by moving in there....once that baby comes and you are back to normal with the jugs that the milk fairy gives us...and some man comes calling your way...won't she be red in the face when he can't quit checking out the window to see what you are doing...hell you are damn lucky to be rid of that....he gave somebody a used ring...BOY HES GOT SOME CLASS..... aine -
Monday, 7 April thanks very much i think i am just having such a hormonal day today i feel like i am gonna break down at any min :( ....about anything!!..............how are u keeping i read about the dad!!..bein pregnant is hard enough without the added stress...but your wee girl will be so precious u wont even have time to think about anyone else............good luck with everything xx gypsyfleur -
Monday, 7 April I left my daughter's father 2 weeks after I had her....plus he stayed gone for months at a time while I was pregnant....I know you are hurting right now and feel lonely....but just focus on the little one you have with you all the time...By the time they get here and you two are settling in you will forget him....there may be times you think man I wish I had her dad to share this with...but a good man will come into your life that doesn't just take off..and you will get to share everything....Just focus on you and your baby...YOu really don't need him...just think of the Black Widows they eat the daddy...Now doesn't that sound good...PS>>(i am pretty sure it is the black widow) Selina21 -
Sunday, 6 April Aww that's a pretty name! Me and my husband finally decided on her middle name, so her whole name's gonna be Jaslene Isabella Lopez :) Well hopefully when you see your doctor you'll be dilated. Then you can have her early or right on time! :) Selina21 -
Sunday, 6 April Omg I know! I hope she comes early too! I'm already 3 cm. dilated and my doctor said it's all up to the baby now! I just have to get to 4cm to go to the hospital! I can't wait to hold her already!!! Her name's gonna be Jaslene Lopez. We're still deciding on Isabel or Isabella on her middle name :) What are you naming your baby? Well yeah I'll let you know when I have her and you let me know when you have your baby too! I'm soooooo excited!!!
p.s. Yeah she's my first baby :) Is this your first? Selina21 -
Sunday, 6 April Hey just stopping by to say hi! I noticed we have the same due date and we're both having girls! Well congrats! And I can't believe we have about 2 weeks left till we finally get to hold our baby girls! :) monkey1 -
Friday, 4 April missvandminime, if you have not fel the baby move today, you need to call your dr immediatly. Also, drink some sweet juice, and eat a little something sweet, and lie down. See if the baby starts moving within 10 to 20 minutes. But, seriously, if you don't feel the baby, call you dr, if it is after hours where you are, then go straight to labor and delivery in your hospital. They will put monitors on you, and probbaly find the babies heartbeat right away, but it is always better to be safe then sorry. That is why we are supposed to be doing fetal kick counts every day now. For this very reason. Stay calm, and good luck. stacyandmichaelsbaby -
Friday, 4 April Call your doc asap................it may be the babys asleep but you need to call your doctor right away. I have to do checks twice a day and my doc said sit down with no tv, noise or any distractions and wait for about 15 minutes to feel the baby. If no movement is felt or not at least 5 in an hour I have to call or go to hospital. Your baby is probably fine but at this point in your pregnancy it could be a sign of distress and if you get it taken care of right away it is best......GOOD LUCK 12.31.08 -
Thursday, 3 April Aww i totaly understand where your comming from. i was three months pregnant and couldnt stop crying because i kept thinking one day soon i would be in labor! it scared me so much!
Even if you take all the classes in the world. labor is something that comes so natural. No one can give you that "pep" talk and no one can calm you down.. your body will react in its own way!
One thing i can say is that as soon as your baby is out.. like that very second.. the pain stops in a second! Just no more.. so what i sis was pushed with out any breaks to get him out as soon as i could.. and as soon as my body would allow! He was out in 20 mins.. and the pushing is what i found easy! Contractions can be blocked off with an epi! Thank God for the epi! lol

Wednesday, 2 April Heads up on the raspberry leaf tea~ I have been taking it since wk 32, and it doesn't induce labor or soften the cervix, it is meant to tone the uterine muscles, and thus shorten the second stage of labor. If you want something to help soften your cervix, evening primrose oil capsules will help. I take them orally, they look like vitamin E capsules, but you can insert them vaginally and they will disolve and apply directly to your cervix. There is also blue cohosh, which I feel is a bit too much of an intervention, but you can do your own research. Good Luck! thatch -
