My name is Tessa, my husbands name is Jeremy. I am in the Navy and Jeremy is in the Marine Corps. This is our first child, and we are very excited. Unfortunately, we recently found out his Squadron's deployment has been moved up from January '09 to September'08, I'm due October 30th. He does have a small chance of staying behind, due to the fact that his squadron can only take so many people on this 7-9 month deployment to Japan. We're just taking this day by day, not trying to worry or stress out too much.

im in the navy too.. and 'military instruction' says you can only work 8 hr day 40 hrs a week.. if you have duty that goes towards the 40 hrs.. i also think at 36 wks they put you on half days.. where ru stationed??

bellasmommy - Sunday, 7 September
i had that for like a week (twice) during my fourth or fifth month and i couldnt even go to work, bc i would go all day constantly- i thought i had food poisoning...my doc said that i might have IBS, adn she wanted me to go to a specialist, i said no and waited for it to end, but i think it would be best to call them anyway

YES! call the Dr. You could be dehydrated. I just got over the flu and lost 12 lbs. in a week. Which brought me under my pre-pregnancy weight. You are probably fine, but they may need to do an IV to get some fluids in you and they will check to make sure baby is OK. It turned out fine for me and I gained 9 lbs in a week and a half so, it was just all the water I lost. Take care and hope you feel better!

mommatiff3 - Sunday, 7 September
Yes call your doc, you wont sound like a baby. Women call the doc for much less than that. Thats what docs are there for. At this late in our pregnancies its important we dont leave out any details w/ our doc even the minor ones. Be sure to keep hydrated !! Hope ya feel better. Take care.

i know everything is in God's perfect plan for us its just so hard to understand at times like this ya know? i just wish i could know why she was too young for it to be her time already. i know she will always be with me and looking down on us and will see the baby grow up but its obviously not the same and it hurts that my baby girl will not know her. she was so excited for me and found out five days before she died that i was having a girl. she couldn't wait until i got "fat & pregnant" so she could make fun of me but she never got to. trying my best to be strong and stay positive, some days are better than others. thanks for your email address, mine is mandy_lee81603@yahoo.com so you know if you see my email. sorry to drop my bad news on you i don't mean to bring you down but even typing to people about it helps a little. thanks for listening!

glad to hear everything is going well! my baby is measuring small but nothing to worry about the doc said. my husband was 11 pounds when he was born so i'm hoping our little girl does not take after him! i feel ok but still lathargic sometimes but i think its due to all the stress and bad things happening in my life. u r probably aware that my sister passed away about a month ago (32 yrs old) and left her husband and three boys. about 3 weeks later my bro in laws dad also died (my sis's boys grandpa). then about a week ago i found out my grandmas lung cancer came back as well as my husband's best friends' lymphnode cancer. its all been so overwhelming. i try to stay positive for the baby and do things to focus on her but its really hard. i'm not having my shower until sept 14 and we have started to register so thats fun i guess. its just that everything i do for the baby just reminds me that my sister isn't here to share in the experience. she was so incredibly happy for us and so excited to have a new neice. i don't mean to bring you down i just like to let everyone know what is really going on in my life cuz i need all the support and prayers that i can get. and so does the rest of my family! we found out a couple weeks after my sister passed away that she earned her associates degree. we were not aware she was so close to getting it. it took her a long time and we are extremely proud of her hard work and dedication to earn it. we, of course, just wish she were here to celebrate with us and let her know just how proud we are. anyway, again i'm sorry for all the bad news. as far as my baby goes we are ecstatic to be having a little princess and cannot wait until she arrives. we decided on Kylee Michelle, Michelle was my sisters middle name. we are trying not to buy too much for her but we did break down and buy her a couple things! i just know everyone loves baby girl clothes and we will get a ton at the shower! i already dont know where we r going to put everything. please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

Totally not weird....and yes mine will be gone for the birth. He was deployed for the birth of our first child too. Enjoy your time together. And no that even in all the chaos coming your way you are not alone :)

egh02 - Saturday, 21 June
Congrats on your hubby returning. Mine is leaving in about 3 weeks :(. But oh well he's been home for a while too. Hope you all enjoy the rest of the pg together :)

How funny! What's her middle name (if you don't mind me asking). Do people call her 'Kay' for short, or does she have a nickname? We are actually leaning more towards Kylee but I'm still looking through the baby name book ;-) I am spelling both of them with 'lee' at the end because my middle name and my dad's middle name is 'lee'. Why were you told a couple weeks ago you were having a boy? Did you have two ultrasound for some reason? I am confident the tech was right because she said she hasn't ever been wrong in 18 years! I really like the name you picked out.

xidja - Saturday, 14 June
Computers, can't live with em can't live without em! I am glad to hear everything is great and congrats on your baby girl. I did have my ultrasound thursday and found out we are having a girl too! They really didn't give us any results, the tech just said she didn't see anything suspicious. She was very uncooperative and we almost didn't get to find out what she was! She laid there with her legs crossed the whole time. I kept having to move around and right before the tech was going to give up she told me to sit up and then could see she's a girl! We are thinking we like Kylee or Kaylee but not for sure. Maybe Ann for the middle name after my mom's middle name. What about you?

bugnjb - Saturday, 14 June
Boy would definately probably be easier! They are easier to dress, easier to groom, easier attitudes! But I'm up for the challenge! LOL! I guess it's just pay back for what our parents had to put up with LOL! I'm just thrilled though!

bugnjb - Saturday, 14 June
I like your name it's unique! We are naming our little girl Lila Ann Barr

TammyJo - Saturday, 14 June
we never gave him a key thank God, but we might change locks anyways

xidja - Wednesday, 11 June
Your ultrasound is scheduled for Friday? Are you hoping to find out what you're having? Mine is Thursday the day after tomorrow! I can't wait but I am super nervous too. I just want everything to be well with the baby. I am trying not to worry about anything unless they tell me to though! How have you been feeling lately? Hope to hear from you soon.

jennba - Sunday, 25 May
My hubby 2. He keeps telling me i'm starving the baby. I hate when he says that!! The only thing that taste good is cereal and cold milk.

jennba - Saturday, 24 May
I have totally lost my appetite. Nothing sounds good to me and thats weird for me. I have to make myself eat. All i wanna do is drink!

XIDJa - Wednesday, 14 May
I've heard that it may be early but if you are thin or don't have much belly fat you may feel it earlier than others. No one else can know what you've felt!
