aww, so sorry about your baby shower! As far as waking up paralyzed, i feel the same. so painful during the night too, very hard to roll over. Must be the pressure and extra weight on our hips and pelvis area.. not fun.

Hi..just wanted to say that i wake up every morning sore also (hips, pelvic area, thighs) its so bad my husband has to get my kids up and to school for me the past few weeks as it kills me to get up...more or less drive. And as far as ur baby shower..i know how it feels. i invited about 60 ppl , and 4 showed up, all my husbands family (his two brothers and their wives at that!), no one in my family, friends, coworkers, nobody! I was upset at first but i ended up saying the hell with it cuz my husband went out and bought tons of stuff and set it in the nursery as a surprise for me :) I hope all goes well for you, we are almost there girl!

Hi there I just wanted to respond to your question about the pelvic pain... I feel ya my hips hurt so bad in the morning that I can't move I think it might be normal... I'm also very swollen so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I hope I helped!!! I hope you feel better hang in there we are almost done......

So far I have being getting the same thing from my family and here it is that I thought that I was the only one whom was like that. My own sister is not hosting it, a best friend of mine is, she said that she working would interfere with the time of it all and that she didn't have no money either, I just said oh things happen. Now she talking like she want to be there when the delivery happens! Ha ha, get real. My husband, best friend(the one doing the shower), and another lady whom was adopted as the baby's nana will be in the room no family what so ever. Everyone pulling out and the shower is not until the 17th of May, I feel the same way girl, don't stress it, think about the baby that will be here shortly!!!

Girl i use to work 630-230 at a daycare with the babies before i got on bedrest. I just couldnt wait then when I got it I hated it. The first week was fine but after that it got boring. But its really boring because i can only shower, eat and go to the bathroom...my doc said nothing else.

I think you should definitely at least look into suing, because it does sound like a violation of the law. You need to consult with a few local attorneys and see if they will consider taking your case on contingency (that means you don't pay them unless you win, and if you do win, they get a certain amount, usually 1/3, of the money). Try to find someone who either specializes in civil rights cases in general, or disability rights in particular. You can probably get some referrals from the Florida state bar association.

I think unless the club filed for an exemption, you have grounds to sue, if that is what you wanted to do. I would be PISSED if that was me and they didn't let me in! And, who has the balls to just ASSUME you are pregnant anyway?! I know it's pretty obvious at this point, but I even have people ask me just to make sure they don't offend me and that is after I have mentioned it in the conversation. They just don't want to assume and offend me. That is wrong, and if you are angry or motivated enough, I would get some legal council in your area. It doesn't always cost an arm and a leg, sometimes it's free!

OMG what club was this in Tampa? OK If you are 19 and old enough to get in what does being pregnant have to do with them losing their liquor license? I hope they gave you your money back!! I would def talk to an attorney about that because if you weren't showing they would have let you in. What they are saying about cap. doesn't make sense either because pregnant woman wouldn't be allowed to go anywhere where there is a large crowd...ex Busch Gardens. If Busch Gardens told you that you couldn't come in because you were pregnant and you can't ride the rides and you are a liability...you would sue right? Don't let this club get away with that.
