As of 11/29, I am 13 weeks pregnant (and have been married for 13 weeks and 5 days!)
This is my second pregnancy, I had a miscarriage in March 06. We are VERY VERY excited to become parents.
I have been lucky enough to not experience any vomiting, but I have felt nauseous since week 5. I am starting to feel better now, but ALWAYS tired. I could go to sleep at 6:30 almost every night-especially if nothing is going on.
I visit this site almost daily to read all the new posting. I am hoping to make some due date buddies and share our experiences on here-so I don't drive my non-preggo friends crazy with all my baby talk!
12/29 Week 17! I am freaking out lately because I have been feeling so good it doesn't feel like I am pregnant anymore. I felt the baby move last week and it seems like I haven't felt her (or him) at all-at least not enough to notice. I bought a baby doppler today to see if I could hear a heartbeat but I don't know if the thing is working or not.
Last time I went to the doctor I was feeling the same way, like I wouldn't have been surprised if he had listened for the heartbeat and not been able to find one-I had been feeling so NOT pregnant I almost expected them to tell me I wasn't pregnant anymore (morbid thoughts, I know).
I go to the dr. on the 8th so hopefully she will be able to put my mind at ease and let me know whether I should be shopping for pink or blue! My DH cannot come with me, unfortunately he has been working 7 days a week 13 hours a day so I only see him for about an hour a day. I invited my mom to come along so I have someone to share the excitement with. Anyway, I am enjoying feeling good while it lasts and I hope that it lasts for a while!
1/10/08 19 weeks today! ITS A GIRL!
I went to the Dr. on Tuesday to find out the news-everything looks great and is going according to plan. We are both excited-my mom and my sister went to the US with me since DH had to work so they got to witness the news firsthand!
Last night I think I experienced my first Braxton-Hicks contraction. I was at the gym walking on the treadmill when I started to feel pressure in my stomach (kind of like gas) and when I touched my stomach it was as hard as a rock. It only lasted a few seconds but it was really wierd. All the websites say it can happen pretty early but I hope I don't have one again for a while!
Almost halfway there!.....
