Andy and I have been trying to concieve for over 2 years we,eventually got the positive result we wanted at the start of september 2007, unfortunately my baby grew wings and joined my grandparents in the sky at only 6weeks and 5days. It hurt so much I can not even start to put it down on paper.

I decided not to have a d&c but let nature do its job, I am still bleeding, which is a daily reminder of what we have lost.

The day after I m/c we recieved a letter informing us of our first consulation with IVF ( we had been referred by the hospital due to the lenght of time we had been trying to concieve) We go on the 23 October

I have bought ovulation tests and as soon as the bleeding stops I will start testing as I dont want to wait on IVF we fell pregnant without it so lets hope that will be the case again.

Not long up out of bed, think the bleeding has stopped, although I dont want to get my hopes up just incase it starts again, think I will give it a few days then start testing again. I kind of feel strange, its like the end of my pregnancy and the start of ttc again. Fingers crossed

Well we went to the IVF clinic yesterday. It was a really positive meeting. We have been placed on the IVF and IUI waiting list. We are really lucky as the health board we come under pays for both. The waiting time for IUI is only 7 months so fingers crossed. I still really hope we fall pregnant with out the help but I will accept all the help they will give us as well

I have been testing for ovulation every 2 to 3 days still negative I hate my body so much sometimes. If my period comes then i can at least start counting the days again Ahhhhhhhh

Well my period started yesterday. Bit gutted but at least it has came so we have to start counting again. Have to take clomid tommorrow, so fingers crossed i ovulate when i should and we get the big fat positive soon

Did a pregnacy test today and to my shock it was POSTIVE. think I am in shock, we keep looking at each other and just can't stop smiling.
IS THIS NOT JUST THE BEST CHRISTMAS PRESSY EVER. I just need loads and loads of baby glue now

phoned the dotor today and they have confirmed that i am pregnant. couldn't stop shaking and smiling. Going to tell my mum and dad on christmas day. Got an appointment on 28th with one of the doctors. fingers crossed, and baby glue required. i want this one to stick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been the best christmas ever. Finding out that we were pregnant on the 19th was great, we went against tradition and have told my family and his, everyone is so happy. We told my mum and dad on chrisrtmas eve along with my sister and brother in law to be. Then we told andys mum dad and 2 brothers and sister plus their partners on christmas day. The reaction we got was great. everyone is over the moon.

seen the doctor today and she completed all the forms for my referal to the midwife. really excited.

had my early scan today. We were offered it because of the miscarrage. They have put me back to being due on the 1st sept which I was initially disapoined with as this put me less than when i m/c before but we SAW A HEARTBEAT!!!!!!!!!!! I started crying again but this time it was for a good reason.

Feeeling a bit better today, morning sickness stopped a few days ago (all day sickness) which is a relief as I wasn't able to keep anything down at all. My boobs are really sore and have def grown, so going bra shoppig today, dont think I will be getting anything sexy but as long as i get some support I will be happy.

made it to 8wks still haven't heard from the midwife yet dont know when I will. went to mothercare yesterday to get some idea about what we are going to need. Cant wait still ages to go. Looking forward to my 12wk scan

Got my 1st letter from the midwife on friday, managed to get hold of her this morning. I am to go and see her tommorrow at 9am and I have my dating scan on monday at 1040am. I will only be 10wks and not 12 but cant wait. They arer going by my original dates according to my last period and not the date from the early ultra sound. Cant stop smiling, so happy, hurry up monday !!!!!!

I had my ultra scan today. saw a really healthy heartbeat, which was just amazing. We have been told that I am 10 wks so due on the 1st september.

I have almost got to 13 weeks, still cant stop smiling when i think about it. no bump yet but my belly is harder. sickness is def passed, boobs not as sore mostly sore during the night. I have went up 2 cup sizes in bra, andy thinks its like having jordan around. my next goal is 16wks when we get to hear the heartbeat. I have refused the double test for spina bif and downs the result wont make me not go through with this pregnacy so not worth having.

seen the midwife yesterday andshe sounded for buds heartbeat. She found it almost straight away. Andy was with me it was amazing. bought a boppler now think it will really help to reasure me.

It wasAndys birthday (32) on saturday 12 of us went 10 pin bowling, really good night, Andy won a pink soft toy in one of the machines so my sister in law thinks that I will have a girl, Andy seems to think girl, I have no idea, maybe cause I dont mind

had my 20wk scan yesterday. bud is perfect!!! they couldn't see any problems. We got 6 copies of the scan photo, so both our parents can have a copy. Didn't find out the sex because really dont care. I am to see the midwife in 2 weeks time for another antinatal check.

Started yoga last nigh, really enjoyed it, it was really relaxing but also a little bit of exercise. Def going to try and get every week.

Had my 22 week check the other day, all was fine so really happy.

Andy and I were at the baby show in glasgow the other weekend, we bought our pram, pushcahir and car seat got really good discount. We also booked a private 4d scan for bargin price of £90 it includes a 5min dvd a cd rom with all the photos on it and a wellbeing health check. We could have a gender check but not going to, dont care what sex the baby is, just cant wait to meet him/her

Not been on here for ages. Still going to yoga every monday night which is great. Had 4d scan (had to go back 3 times as bud had hand in front of face) Feel bud moving all the time now which is really nice. All going well only down side is heartburn !!!!
