January 13th
I gave birth to the boys on January 11th! Miles Casey was born at 2:34pm he weighed 5lbs 5 oz and Matthew Justin was born at 2:36pm he weighed 5lbs 3 oz. They are beautiful! It was the most amazing experience of my life. I would do it again in a heart beat! I'm so grateful to have them in our lives... they are just a true blessing.
January 9th
I went to the doctor's office yesterday - looks like I am going to make it for the January 11th c-section. I'm so excited to meet the boys! They said I will be able to go home w/ them on Monday. My husband and I are as prepared as we can be (I guess). We have most of the babies thing put together, we have all the clothing washed. We are just waiting to see them and hold them! This is a very exciting and emotional time for us!
January 2nd
I'm 36 weeks and 1 day - I had my U/S today - Baby A is 5lbs 9 ozs and baby B is 5lbs 11ozs -- so if I make it to my scheduled c-section I think the boys will both be over 6lbs!!! Yippy! I feel good - just HUGE. I only have 9 days left until the c-section - so I am counting down... I just can't wait!
December 26th
I'm 35 weeks and 1 day. I went to see my doctor today and he said everything looks great. He thinks I will make it to my scheduled c-section on January 11th 2008. That's just over 2 weeks away. I did wake up swollen today - but I guess that is normal. He said the babies are easily over 5 lbs each at this point. I feel HUGE! But I am really grateful that we have made it this far. I hope I last until 1/11/08 - if I don't he said the babies are in great shape so I have nothing to worry about. My plan is to take it easy between now and then. Just get plenty of rest, water etc... and hope for the best. I'm just so excited to meet our little boys!
December 12th
I'm 33 weeks and 1 day - we went for the u/s today - baby boy A is 4lbs even and baby boy B is 4 lbs 4 oz! I'm so happy!!! Doctor said I look great and the babies look great! My cervix is high and closed. (3 1/2 centimers). They told me that I just need to make it to 34 weeks or later... if I go into labor anytime after that, they are not stopping me. He did say I mostlikely - actually pretty much w/o a doubt will have to have a c-section based on their postions. Baby A is breech and Baby B is transverse. It really doesn't matter to me - as long as they are healthy and happy. So all good news!
I had a bit of a scare... I had to go to the hospital for contractions, they kept me overnight. I'm now 30 weeks and 1 day. They put me on bed rest until the boys arrive. I'm not in pre-term labor but I did start having pre-term contractions. My cervix is closed and high - thank God! They also told me baby boy A weighs 3 lbs 6 oz and baby boy B weighs 3lbs. (I guess the boys are in the 25-50th percentage) So I plan on spending the next 4-8 weeks in bed (however long it is before the babies arrive). I feel good overall, I guess I just needed to slow down. I can still work from bed, so that is keeping me busy. My office is getting more e-mails than I'm sure they want! :-)
I'm 28 weeks and a day. Last week we went for another u/s - baby boy B looks JUST like his dad. Baby boy A wouldn't smile for the camera. We still don't know if they are identical.... I guess that will be a nice surprise at the end. It was so nice of the U/S nurse to switch the monitor to 4D so we could see the little guy's face. I'm really feel like the boys are finally going to be here -- we only have about 8 or 8 1/2 weeks left. I just can't imagine how much our lives are going to change. It's wild to think we are going to have 2 sons. The baby shower we had really helped -- we have EVERYTHING... I don't think we need to buy a thing. It was truly a blessing - everyone was so generous and kind to us. I have washed all the baby clothes and blankets.... I still need to do a few more things. The baby's each weigh 2lbs 2oz's at 27 weeks... Nurse said they are growing great.
I am almost 27th weeks, I feel a little slower now.... I just need to rest more. The boys are really active lately. I feel like they are contantly moving. I go see the doctor on tuesday (I will be 27 weeks on tuesday) I will have an U/S at that appointment - I can't wait to see the boys again and find out how much they weigh.
Baby Shower pictures!!!

This is me and my hubby at my shower I'm almost 26 weeks!

At 23 weeks we went in for the 3D U/S - it was truly amazing. We could see both boys - Baby Boy A was showing off more, Baby Boy B would show us his face but would look away everytime we wanted to take a picture. We got a video tape of it... someday we will show the boys. I was so suprised how close they are in the womb. They are both a little over a pound. Baby Boy A was 1 lb 3 oz and Baby Boy B was 1 lb 2oz. We had my mom come with us to this appointment, she had never been to an U/S appointment so seeing the boys in 3D was out of this world for her.
This is me at 22 weeks!

August 9th 2007
I'm 15 weeks 2 days today. I went for my u/s and found out we are having 2 boys! They said everything looks really good, the babies are growing at the same rate. We saw them moving around and you could see their little hands and feet it was very cute. I start to show around 13 weeks but my stomach popped out at 15 weeks. I still feel tired but otherwise really good. The babies weight 4 oz each. The doctor said by looking at my stomach he would think I was 18 weeks if it were only 1 baby. But for twins my stomach was just right.
July 20th 2007
I'm 12wk 3days today! I'm pregnant with twins! On July 10th we went for the u/s - Baby A HB 174 and was 43MM long. (11wks 1d - give or take) Baby B HB 167 and was 49mm long. (11wks 5d - give or take). I think everything became very real for my husband when he saw the babies on the u/s machine. You could see their little hands and feet... it was so sweet! Amazingly, I felt really good this whole time, no morning sickness... just tired and a little bit of gas (yuck!). I feel pretty lucky. I can't wait to start showing.... in the evening my belly pops out but in the morning it goes back down... hopefully it will happen soon. Congrats to all of you that are pregnant! And prayers and good luck to those who are trying!
