Jan 2, 2008 - Well my doctor scheduled me to be induced, when we arrived at the hospital I was already having contractions every 2 to 4 minutes apart so they broke my water around 10:30am, they did not want to give me any Pitocin because of how my contractions was constant but they then decided around 11:30am to give me the Pitocin because I was only dialiated to 3 cm. I was also given an epidural so I went into relax mode but they said that my contractions were coming on stronger. Around 1:15 pm they checked me and I was at 8cm, they were calling my doctor to let her know my progress. Around 1:35 I noticed that the heartbeat was racing and then it was slowing down where it was not even recording on the monitor, at that point I started to worry and I kept saying that they need to get him out. At 2pm they checked me and he was ready to come out. Because I got the epidural I did not feel like pushing but the nurse and my husband took a leg each and they pushed it towards my stomach to help with my pushing. It took 3 pushes and he was out.....my miracle 6lbs, 11ozs and 19 1/2 inches, I was in love all over again.....the most amazing thing is that the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck (3) times....yes (3) times and it was also knotted, the doctor used some term for that but I cannot remember.......Other than that my littleman is doing great and we are home and enjoying every moment. And with all of this imagine my doctor walked in just as the baby came out, she missed his delivery, but she got to take pics with him.........I AM IN LOVE AGAIN for the 5th time, my 4 beautiful children and my hubby. GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH A WONDERFUL FAMILY, to God be the Glory.......... I also have to update my name to (mom-of-4)
