Thank you so much for your comment on my situation. I have gotten so much advice to keep breastfeeding that I am going to continue. I was feeling a bit guilty actually before I asked the question. I felt like I was hurting her, now I feel more empowered to continue. Great pics on your page BTW.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

K is the same way and I wondered that too. He doesn't laugh all that much. I mean, he does, but I feel like other people's babies laugh at everything and I have to work for his laughs. Oh yeah, and he'll laugh more for my sister or my parents than me. Am I not funny?! He does smile all the time, so it's not like he's unhappy...

i'll be paying visit to some daycares soon, what should i be paying attention too? How do i know those kids at that place are happy. i really don't feel like to send Owen there, but i like my work too. I am struggling here. How's Jamison nap at the daycare? Owen still naps in the bouncer.

I do have a sling but haven’t put her in it for the past couple months. It was a life saver for the first few months. I regret buying the sling and not a ring sling or wrap. There is no give in mine and it is pretty squishy, which she used to love, but she is a big girl and she didn't seem to like it anymore. I will pull it out and try it again.

That's so intresting you say that because it is also painful for me too.But I was thinking it was because I had a hard delivery and 90+ stiches(yes, I know).I have been on it for 3 months now and have really liked it but I'm thinking it is for sure killing my drive.Any other side effects you've experienced?

mommyinthesky - Tuesday, 30 September
We just came back from Jacob's doctor visit and he said I could introduce things once a week if I wanted, no rush. We do have a lot of food allergies in our family. You know, Jacob just started rice cereal on Sunday and today he seems like he's sneezing a lot, like maybe he's getting a cold, I'm not sure. He also will still have mostly breastmilk, it really is easier. It's too bad it can't be that easy in the beginning so that more people would be able to do it. Even if he's got a cold now, he went 6 months being very healthy, so I'm thankful for it. I guess we'll stick with rice cereal this week and maybe give some oatmeal next week. I agree with the veggies first approach and we may stay away from fruit juice altogether. I'll add fruit much later. I'd heard the same thing about avocado and bluebeanz and I discussed it. She had some good ideas on preparation. I want to be able to prepare his food, but I'm such a bad cook and lazy in that area as well. It's so good that you and your husband have good eating habits. My husband and I are the ones who will have to change our habits and soon. I think Jamison will be a super healthy kid.

Hope so! Thank you :)

No, not yet. She has her 6 month checkup on the 15th, so I will ask then. I have read that babies do it, but it goes away around 4 months. She has been able to control her hands pretty well for a while now. She can hold objects and move them from hand to hand and pull them towards her, but sometimes her hands just shake! I think I am being too worried and it is probably normal.

mommyinthesky - Monday, 29 September
Hey, How many days did you wait between the rice and oat cereal? I'll try again today with the rice cereal and wondered if I should try the oat next week or is it OK to try it in a few days. I know most babies on here are already beyond the cereal and into regular food, so I don't want to feel rushed to catch him up or anything. He seems fine, but I just wonder if he can have things introduced at a faster pace since he's 6 months instead of 4. I found some good books with meal plans. How are you planning on doing it?

newmommy - Monday, 29 September
Kind of like vibrating shaking. It isn't ALL the time, but they do it when she is on her back mostly.

Jo-Mama - Saturday, 27 September
No breakage as far as I know. A few times we were a bit slow getting it wrapped up, so I guess that's when the little suckers got through! I totally wasn't even thinking that we could get pregnant so fast because it took so long with Malone. So really, I prefer this over having to go through a long period of trying to conceive again. It's still sinking in. But the one good thing is that Malone seems so easy right now. There's only one of her! So even when she's being fussy, I just think - appreciate this! She's just one baby! Soon you'll have two!

mommy-k - Tuesday, 23 September
No. He rolls all over, rocks on his hands and knees and scootches himself army style on occasion, but not exactly crawling yet. I feel like he's going to really soon though.

Jo-Mama - Saturday, 20 September
Aawww, poor little poopy guy. Thanks for sharing that - it made me feel better. I told my mom about it and she says that every baby has a poop party eventually!

coliflower - Saturday, 20 September
Those pics are hilarious. He doesn't look too impressed!

jacquelyn - Saturday, 20 September
Thanks. That makes me feel better. I'm always just so worried about the possiblilty that she might have autism since my husband's cousin has it.
