Joshua is doing well.He had a lot of trouble gaining weight.He was eating 5-6 ounces every 3 hours,but was still 6 1/2 pounds.They put him in the hospital for 4 days and did a lot of tests.They concluded that he was using too much energy to eat. He'd suck 5-6 times before he'd swallow.It took him about an hour to nurse or eat his expressed milk.They taught us some exercises and he's about 8 pounds now.Everyone still comments on my "newborn".He's 4 months old!He "talks",rolls over ,and pushes his face into the ground when he scoots.He loves to take a walk across the floor. with us.It's amazing how he lifts one foot &then the other!He smiles so much!

hi there! that's great that savannah's rolling over! sounds like she's doing great and growing every day -- woohoo, good job mommy!!
beckett's doing great and getting big! he had his 2 mo appt @ 6 wks (weird, I know) and weighed 8 lbs 14 oz and was 23.5 in -- now he's 9 wks and probably weighs well over 10 lbs. my husband and I need a chiropracter! we practice tummy time every day, but he doesn't seem to want to roll -- instead he tries to get up on all fours and pushes his way forward over the blanket, lol!
is savannah sleeping thru the night? beckett's only getting up 2x now and I hope he's down to 1x by the time I go back to work.

Savannah is a little cutie! And already rolling over! Tanner is doing great! He weighs 10pd 8oz and is 22 3/4 in tall. He sleeps from6-10 a night depending how much he eats during the day and started drinking juice.

Isabelle's doctor apt was yesterday she is 11 pounds 6 oz. and 23 3/4 inches long. She can roll from her back to her belly but she gets stuck there.. how ever she did learn to scoot. She can scoot on her back from one end of the crib , couch ..ect to the other end. she pushes her feet down, lifts up her butt and scoots around....

Savannah was 10 lb and 22 inches at 2 months~ That is what Isabelle was at 1 month.
My little girl is so long and skinny .. her 2 month dr. apt. is on april 9th I can't wait to see how long she is.
Isabelle is now smiling and laughing at things... she moves around so much now

hey there! how're you and savannah doing? has the colic gotten any better? sounds like you're hanging in there, tho that crying must be nerve wracking.
beckett's doing really well and so are mom & dad, tho we're tired of course. beckett lost some weight too, so since coming home from the hospital, we've been playing catch up. went to pediatrician last tues and he'd gotten up past his birth weight and was clocking in at 7 lb 8 oz. he also grew a half inch since the birth date. he's starting to be more awake and makes cooing noises and little half smiles. we play with his activity gym and we can tell he's starting to see more clearly. this morning he laughed in his bassinet; scared us even as we laughed.

aww your little one is still so little. mine went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and was 8 lb. she does again next week I'm wiating to see how much she is.
We are doing great. I had to change Isabelle's formula because she kept bring it al up (so bad it was coming out her nose and she kept choking)I'm using enfamil gentlease now and that seems to really be working great for her. I also use dr. brown bottles because colic seems to be something babies in my family always seem to get (trying to prevent it).

my labor was VERY hard, ugh, and then i got stuck at a 4-5 and never progressed. i became so exhausted that we went epidural, but then beckett's heart rate fell every time i turned on my left side, so i never passed 4-5 cm. we finally decided c-section and when beckett came out his umbilical cord was wrapped around his shoulders and the midwife and surgeon think that it was the cord that was just preventing him from being able to turn the right way and get out on his own. so, well, c-section, but he's okay and so am i, so it's all good. :)

congrat again and thank to you. we're doing good, just some little trouble from umbilical cord but it's ok i we have to bring him to see the Dr this afternoon and let you know about that. so excited to read that they are the same date and same out comming, like twins hahahahahahh.

yes Isabelle had her hearing test and passed with flying colors. She was sick the first 48 hours. they told me that c-section babies don't get the fluids pushed out as good as vaginal babies so she kept getting sick ...luckly that is over with. Just waiting for her little legs to go streght they said that will be 2-3 weeks.

Congrats on having your little girl!!! I have an appoint tomorrow, I wonder if made any more progress. As of last wk I'm 2cm dilated and 50% thinned. She looks so sweet! Wow they induced you for 2 days! Did they put a gel in your cervix? I'm surprised they didn't know she was breech before they induced you. Well I'm glad everything is great now! I will definately keep you posted! I can't sleep again! LOL Going on like 2-3 wks! I have to get up early too to get the girls ready and to pick my mom up. My appoint is at 8:30 am!

omgoodness savannah is just a beautiful baby! I love the photo of her with her arms all up in the air and almost smiling - seriously too fabulous! i'm glad everything went well; it stinks that you had to go c-section, but as long as everyone's okay in the end!
i'm doing pretty well considering how huge I am, lol! i'm due sunday, but can see going into next week - anything's possible. but I know they'll induce me at 40 or 41 weeks, so a baby will be here in february, for sure!
hope you heal well and quickly and i'll look forward to more pictures of you adorable little one and to hear how you're doing!!

Thanks for the tip, I hadn't heard that one before. I had heard about her lungs might not be as strong as ones with a vaginal birth, but that is all I had been warned about so far.

I'm doing good. I go in friday morning for my c-section to have my little girl. How are you feeling after the surgery?
I'm just trying to keep myself busy till friday and prepare any last minute things that I can think of.

i can't believe tomorrow is the big day -- wooooow!!!! you must be totally unable to sleep at this point, just b/c you know it's all happening on a specific day. i think that's really cool, as opposed to wandering around, la-dee-dah, like i'm doing, wondering when it's going to happen, lol!
other than playing the waiting game, i'm pretty good. SO huge, i mean, ridiculous. but otherwise, ok, and getting everything prepared, which makes me feel good.
so other than having an induction date, is any other part of your birth planned, like a c-section or an epidural?
