My profile

April 25, 2008 - I am expecting September 23, 2008 with my 3rd child. I have a boy and a girl right now and would be happy with an addition of either sex. I have been very ill with this pregnancy up until now - thank god it is possibly over?! I did not have any morning sickness with either of my other 2 pregnancies let alone ALL DAY SICKNESS! I also would have still been very active in sports/exercise at this point but this time my energy is low and I feel rundown - not to mention I have a bit of a belly developing already this time. I am still wearing my regular clothes but I think come 20 weeks I will need to go shopping for some mat clothes. I'm sure I did not need mat clothes until closer to 24weeks previously but maybe my memory is going. Regardless, I am just happy to be feeling better now! I would like to start walking again or some form of exercise just so I don't FEEL frumpy but it has recently snowed here - is it not supposed to be Spring now?!?

Roan does seem western cowboyish. I am naming my son Wyatt. They will be badass outlaws haha.

i love the name Roan. My mom was helping me with names and she brought that name up. She went to college with a guy named Roan and has always loved it! Not very common, which makes me like it more! Go for it!

Thanks.. hubby is very ecstatic about getting his girl.. lol.. i am okay with it.. i have a girl so i know what to do.. lol... i am excited to start fresh and get this little girl to eat all the stuff i make and eat her veggies and fruit and all kinds of stuff... oh yeah.. i want her to love seafood like mommy.. lol.. and mushrooms.. oh what else.. lol...

well i really wish now that the tech did not tell me what it was since we werent planning on finding out... ah well.. at least now i can do her room and name her and bond... although i have to say that i dont really feel any closer to her knowing that she is a girl... at least not yet.. lol

it will be fun finding out when the baby is born i bet.. but we will see if you can wait that long.. lol.. its so damn hard.. lol.. as much as you want to wait.. it eats at you... haha

i dont think i could sleep on my belly now but i havent been a belly sleeper for a long time... i guess since i started having migraines i have had to teach myself to sleep on my back which was never a possibility back then... lol.. but now i have to have a very soft feather pillow wrapped around my neck in order to sleep... oh the joys...

so how have you been feeling???? are you getting beat up from the inside?.. lol.. little girl likes to kick me very low so it feels like i am being kicked literally in the bum and in the crotch... repeatedly.. lol.. what a weird feeling to be kicked there from the inside.. haha... ah well at least i feel her kick.. my belly is HUGE.. and well my butt is following right behind it..haha... i know i always wanted a butt but not a fat one.. lol oh well... tae bo is back on as soon as i can do it... i loved it.. and it works amazingly!!!

thanks again... will prob do the nursery soon.. i'll take pics when its all done.. or maybe i will do the in progress pic show.. lol

Hi, i have this everyday almost, i'm using gaviscon & rennies which helps me big time.

I haven't had the heartburn yet, just a few cases of Acid reflux ... you can take tums though. Good luck, oh yeah... and if you get it after you eat... stay upright for awhile after you. I know i love to lay down as soon as i eat dinner, but i have heard that it helps to stay upright.

I miss sleeping on my belly too! I have been sleeping pretty good lately, but it comes and goes. If I get woken up in the night, its so much harder to get back to sleep. I kind of sleep on my half stomach/side and it works for me. I'm not a side sleeper, but my belly is definitely coming out! I just added a pic of it if you want to see :) Good for you on wanting to be surprised...I think I want to do that with the next one. I see why people wait.

I'm so glad! We just found out last Friday that It's a BOY! We are so excited! Will you find out?

sweetmommy2be - Monday, 12 May
Hey there. Thanks for responding. It's weird because today I don't feel pressure. Should I be worried? Anyways, I am having a little boy. Well that's what they have told me...lol :)

ams2777 - Wednesday, 7 May
I had the ultrasound yesterday and the tech is pretty sure it is a GIRL. Everything looks great. My fluid measured a little low. Did you find out the sex of this child? Hope your ultrasound went well.

it will start to heal but bc its on my inner thigh as soon as i start walking it gets worse. mine started as like 1 ringworm and spread fast and now there are so many it looks awful. least no one can see it. i was just concerned it could hurt the baby but nope it just hurts me which is good!

RubySue - Wednesday, 30 April
You are welcome! Looks like you're doing well for yourself ;)

No, this is my second. I have a 5 yr old son. I had Gestational Diabetes with him but at the end of the pregnancy. This time it started around 10 weeks. I could have been diabetic before I got pregnant but I did not know. I am struggling to get my BS below 120 after breakfast. I am taking 3 shots a day of insulin and following a strict diet. That is not fun but I will do whatever it takes to have a healthy baby. I hopefully find out in a week if the baby is a boy or girl. Do you know what you are having yet? How are you feeling?

bayBontheway - Tuesday, 29 April
You're Welcome and thanks for the compliment. This is my first baby with my husband.. we both have a child from previous relationships.. i have a 13 year old daughter and he has a 17 year old son. Yes i am a legal assistant... i do hate it.. lol.. i am in family.. i have done criminal and would prefer to go back to that or would like to learn real estate... anything but family... it is physically and mentally draining.. what law are you working in? How are you handling the pressure while preggo?

The beginning of my pregnancy was the worst.. i didnt have morning sickness but i had fatigue so bad it bordered narcolepsy.. i had no motivation at all and was almost bed ridden.. not good.. lol.. then the mood swings were so bad... well more like instant irritability syndrome.. i just didnt find hubby funny anymore.. AT ALL and we are a very comedic family.. so that was very hard for him... but its all good now...

he jokes that if we have another.. he is moving out for a month .. the 2nd month.. that was the worst month lol.. after i hit about 9 weeks i was okay with the hormones but it was just recently that i have had my energy level come back slighly.. lol..

how have you been?

Lilybee - Tuesday, 29 April
Thanks for the compliment --- I'm concerned that I won't be able to lose all of this weight. This is the heaviest I've been in my life and it's quite scary. I have fat now in places I've never had fat before, I guess because I was so inactive because of sickness the first trimester. I teach ballroom dance... Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Samba, etc. It's a great deal of fun! I've been teaching for almost 6 years and I love it! What kind of dance is your daughter learning? How is your work going now that you're pregnant? Are you finding out if you're having a boy or a girl anytime soon or are you going to wait?

trinitymum2be - Monday, 28 April
i have some cream but man it spread fast! i got it on my inner thigh and it spread all the way down and to my other thigh. its been a fight to heal and get rid of it!

I am also due on 9/23. Conception was probably around 12/28-12/30. Not sure what day. I have regular periods and I ovulate 14 days after my first day of my last period. So we made sure we did the baby dance during that time. Hope this helps.

Lilybee - Saturday, 26 April
Hi! My due date is also Sept. 23rd and my doctor told us conception was probably Dec. 17th or 18th. My husband and I calculated it and it all makes sense although we weren't exactly sure when it happened b/f going to the doctor. I just read your profile and I began getting a belly as soon as 8 weeks! I've never been pregnant before and was very thin (5'6" 110 lbs.). I've already gained 10 lbs.!!! I wouldn't worry that this pregnancy is different from your others. From what I've heard, the same woman can have a vastly different pregnancy every time. As far as exercise, I know how you feel; I was very active (I teach dance) and worked out a lot before the pregnancy. During my whole first trimester, I was fatigued and very very sick. I only worked out twice and it was all I could do to go to work and teach for a couple of hours. Now, I feel great and have a ton of energy. Hopefully, you'll start feeling better very soon. Best wishes and congratulations to you!

bayBontheway - Saturday, 26 April
Hi, my due date is September 27 and I know i ovulated on Jan 5th, so you prob ovulated 4 days before that!!!! If your periods are regular ... you ovulate 14 days from the 1st day of your last menstrual cycle in a 28 day cycle. Congrats!!!!
