After 3 years of trying to have a baby, the disappointments, the negative tests and miscarriages all lend me to say that I am finally Pregnant. It has been such a long road. I feel like I could write a best seller about my experiences with infertility.
For all you who are suffering from infertility, be patient. When its suppose to happen it will. Things happen for a reason and if you are not getting pregnant, there is a reason. Keep those spirits up, believe and trust me...dreams do come true!!!!
April 25, 2008...
Last night was the absolute best. The baby was moving from side to side. It felt like it was swishing around. My husband can't wait to feel it, I think he feels left out. I keep promising him that really soon he will feel it more and that will be so exciting for him.
So today was a great day. We didn't get to find out the sex of the baby :( But honestly I don't even care. We got to see the spine, the cord insert and the brain.....and it looks like everything is going to be fine with the baby. We were so worried about the possibility of a tubal nural defect....because of my AFP results. The sono showed no problems so we opted not to do the amnio. We are so happy right now. I went a bought two cute one pieced pjs and dreft...so I can wash the babys cloths as we recieve more. We registered and went to look at cribs. It is just such a relieve to know all is ok.
May 18, 2008 Found out today that my baby is a healthy little girl. I am in shock and so totally excited about that. Now we can give her a name and make her a real person...totally excited!!!!

So I got to have another sonogram today. My baby girl is 2pounds 2 ounces. She is in a frank breach position, so lets hope she moves in the next 10 weeks. I was able to see her feet, legs, nose, lips ears....toes and hands...She is already beautiful!!! Maybe im just partial because im her mother. I am sitting here and I really don't believe that she is a she ITs like a dream come true...I just want her out...I do however know she must bake a little bit longer...I will have plenty of time with her in the upcoming months....I am totally excited!!!!

Wow it is a small world indeed! Uggh--Satuday...why three hours? Is it your first test or second? If it is your first, it should only be a draw and then drink and then another draw....
My OB is in East Islip...delivering at Good Samaritan in West Islip....
I am living in my air conditioner...the humidity is killing me though...I want to go swimming too--- thinking about Marjorie Post park in Massapequa---nice pool/ facilities there...just need a day off and some time to do it.
Oh yes, I get the bonus prize today...my feet started swelling...oh joy!

I live in Lindenhurst...where are you? OMG--Bronchitis...Get well soon!---mine lasted for 3 months with either broken or bruised ribs...don't ask---it was an absoloute mess...I thought I was going to die...and then I wanted to die...LOL...After my Vegas trip, I told my hubby we definately need to have the baby in Vegas, or move there! The climate change was amazing...It was truly a great week away!
Went to the doc today...have to go for Glucose testing, anemia testing, and another screen type of my blood to be sure I haven't built up antibodies...I also have another level 2 in addition to a rogahm shot...fun fun fun...
Are you doing core blod banking? I just signed up with CBR...$1900.00 total....ouch..

Thats so exciting!!! Yay were both due on the same day and were having our baby shower same day too, thats so cool! I hope we both get tons of great gifts! I cant wait til my baby boy Rylee get here im hoping he comes early, il die if im overdue lol

Hi!
Just returned from our Babymoon in Las Vegas...A well needed trip for sure! My mucus issues went away considerably due to the dry heat...OMG-as soon as the plane landed back in NY, I was already hacking away, and couldn't breathe...I swear, I may have this baby in Vegas!
How are you doing? Any new news?

Thanks for the bra advice!!! I have been to that outlet store before and had some good luck finding sizes over dd!! And that was BEFORE I got pregnant!! Maybe I will take another trip over there and see if I can still find a decent size!! It was hard enough trying to find bras big enough, and now that the "girls" are getting bigger...it makes it that much harder. Thanks again!!!!

Hi, thank you for the comment! Yes, some good thing about being big and being pregnant. Mine is= no need to buy maternity clothes as well and no worry about getting stretch marks since I already have one!!! But we have to be careful about getting high blood pressure and stuff. Good luck to you, too!
