Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

An episotomy is where they have to make an incision (in between your vagina and rectum) to avoid tearing during delivery. I know it sounds horrible but it's really not that bad. A cut heals faster and easier than a laceration or tear.

i am absolutley exhausted and take multiple naps every day...also, food is a chore that is not really enjoyable anymore. i eat cause i have to. just wanted to let you know you're not alone!

I was induced with my first and although I don't have anything to compare it to, I didn't think it was all that bad. (I did get an epidural). Trust me, you don't want to have an episotomy any larger than necessary. Best of luck to you! I am being induced this time too.

Hi, I was induced, it was my first so I had nothing to compare it with. The only thing is the contractions are very intense and come very close together. I would do anything to avoid getting induced again unless really necessary. Some women have no problems at all but unfortunately they were not the women who were induced the same day as me, I could not believe the noise. My husband was sent home (common practice in the UK at night) I think had he been there it would have been easier. I think it really is a 50/50 thing as I've heard some real horror stories but also some really great experiences too, best of luck with everything x

Painful in being induced? I did not think so.

I have always used ALL Free and Clear (perfume free and dye free) for my babies. That way you can wash baby clothes with your regular clothes...Also it's not as expensive as Dreft. Good Luck!

Ive never used special detergent with the babies clothing I have a 3 and 2 year old both are fine and were fine.
I wash them with the regular laundry.

I have that burning feeling also. I have had it for weeks and weeks. I asked my anatos about it but she really isn't any help. It is so hard for me to wear a bra especially if it has a wire. I've learned to try and deal with it. There really isn't much that can be done to make it feel better. If you find anything out i would love to know. Take care and good luck!

baby brother is active today.....!

Since you have the pressure and the instinct that you may deliver soon, I would have a doc check you out and see how your cervix looks. Contractions are really only of concern unless they are coming 4 or more per hour. However, I had no contractions but felt terrible. I saw the doc and I was dilated 1 cm at 28 weeks. I am now on bed rest. Not to scare you at all, I just think it is always best to heir on the side of caution. My first was a preemie so I am being extra careful about having all strange feelings checked out. I am glad I did b/c my baby may have been born by now. Hope all is well, let us know!

Signs of preterm labor: more than 4 contractions in an hour. If you have more than 4 contractions you have to go get monitored right away. Also loss or partial loss of mucous plug. Any water trickling which could mean your water broke or is breaking early. And remember that labor can start in your back so if you have painful back contractions don't just dismiss it as a back ache..it could be preterm labor too! *this info I got from the book my doc gave me to follow* I hope you are NOT in preterm.
