Hi my name is Katie. This is my very first pregnancy, and my husband and I are very excited to be parents. We got pregnant the first month that we were trying. I am so thrilled to be pregnant and I am so glad I found this forum to talk to other moms-to-be that experiencing the same thing I am. I want to learn all that I can!

Tuesday, 5 August I agree, some of those babies will end up so needy if you don't become "Babywise." I hope I have the stamina to stand up against a cute little newborn and know it's for the better in the long run. I'm only about half way through. serenity74 -
Monday, 28 July thanks for your comment --i started feeling them move a bit more since then :) Jess1984 -
Tuesday, 15 July I also have placenta previa. I had an u/s at 12 weeks, 17 weeks and have another scheduled for 21 weeks. I am off of work and on pelvic rest--no sex or internal exams. The doctors also told me to take it easy, so no exercise or strenuos activity. I think that the only good part of having this is that we get to see the baby a lot more than everyone else! I also read that unless the placenta moves, the baby will have to be born via c-section because there is no exit for the baby. I am having a scheduled c-section regardless, due to other issues. But, if you have any more questions, I can try to help answer them. mariettap -

Saturday, 28 June Hi! Glad you're feeling well, although I can certainly appreciate the need for some reassuring symptoms from your body! It's a long wait for those first few flutters. Once they come, a whole special and private relationship begins to blossom between mother and baby. Can't wait for you to begin to enjoy that! Just another couple of weeks, I'm sure. Enjoy the ride. Also, with my first, I did not gain an ounce (lost about 10) until long after 20 weeks. I kept going to the OB expecting to get scolded for not gaining. They don't bat an eye tho'. There are many many different variations on "normal". lizzie287 -
Thursday, 29 May I noticed the same thing about Your Pregnancy Week by Week! I ultimately gave up reading that since I am always on this site lol... everything up to about week 23 is exactly the same. I don't know about the rest for sure, I haven't looked at it since about week 23 lol. thirdtimelucky -
