I am 25 years old and the mother of 2 beautiful little girls, ages 6 and 2. I am married to a wonderful man who would bend over backwards for his girls. We are pround to announce our 3rd pregnancy of our first little man!! We are so happy and cant wait to see his little face.

Although this is my 3rd pregnancy, EVERYTHING is differant, its like I have never been pregnant before. I eat all the healthy stuff with this one versus all the junk food with my girls. My husband is thrilled to have a little man he can take fishing, and fix cars with him.

Seems like this pregnancy is flying by, everytime I turn around another month has gone by and its time to see the dr. again. I am so happy for that though cause I cant wait to hold my son in my arms!!

It is good to hear that your baby is ready to go already. I have been getting so frustrated with my doctor because he is going to make me wait til the last minute and then if it hasnt cleared then I won't have much time to get ready. arghh... have you had any spotting or anything?? I had a light spotting at 30 weeks and all he did was send me in for a urine test, which came out clean. Thats it! I guess if he's not worried then I shouldnt be, but I hate guessing how my little girl is doing.

Hi! Thanks for your reply to my question. I hope that your pregnancy is going well! I've been taking the narcotics when the contractions get really bad, but am really trying not to overuse them. You're right that it is much better to keep baby in than to take some drugs! I just feel guilty because I haven't even taken a regular tylonal this whole pregnancy. Anyway, hope everything is good with you! Thanks again!

They are going to deliver your baby at about 36 weeks? Did the doctor say if that was too early? I have a complete previa also and will not go in for another ultrasound until June 12th :( I had only one done at 20 weeks and that is when they found out but they never checked me again even though I asked. I hope all goes well :)

I don't know what to believe about the stretch marks, I just keep rubbing on the lotion and hope I don't get them. Nothing you can really do to prevent them, I don't think... We are almost there... Can't wait

I would go ahead and have the shower if they are offering! It will help a lot cause they can get you boy clothes... my friend just had her third (first girl) and we had a HUGE shower for her... it was awesome... and she got all the girl clothes she will need within the first year! And diapers and whipes galore! We did put on the invites that diapers and clothes were needed... and she registered for other little girl things... but they had big stuff so we excluded that :0) Hope this helps! I say go for it and have fun! Congrats on your baby boy!!!

There is no gov't assistance that I have ever heard of, and as for FMLA (required holding of jobs for pregnancy leave among other things)... It only applies in MI if the company has over 50 employees. So what I found out is that my employer (who only has 20 employees) can hire someone else the day I go on leave and I may or may not have a job when I am ready to go back to work. :(

Unfortunatly, there is no mandatory paid maternity leave, and the government does not offer anything except WIC. You can look at the Family and medical leave act and see the exact amount of time they have to keep your job open. This is a federal law, you could maybe check into a disability insurance that your company might have, like AFLAC. Best of luck.

I know how you feel- everytime I feel my baby move I put my boyfriend's hands on my stomach. He never leaves his hands on long enough to feel the baby move. It hurts because I thought he would be more excited to feel his baby- and this is both of our first. It's almost like he gets annoyed when I try to get him to feel my stomach I barely even try anymore.

honey i sorry that you are feeling this way - i know that we are a sorry second to your husband, but talk to us about your baby boy until your blue (hahah) my bf recently said that he is jealous of our baby girl because of all the joy and attention she is getting. i had no idea he felt that way! hang in there honey it gets better....jenn

Hi there! It's so funny how old wives tales are sometimes true. For me it is craving the sweets and resting on my right side vs. my left. I remember with my son I wanted any fruit and hot things!!
