August 20th, 2007

Well I am exactly 17 weeks and boy do I feel more tired with this pregnancy! It was my daughters 1st birthday on the 18th and considering just moving and being away from family it was GREAT! My daughter got soo much love (and gifts) but I truely couldnt have asked for more. We had a little bbq and made her a bear cake...lots of family and friends!!! I guess I find out in a couple weeks..Im a prediciting a girl for the record. I know my husband really wants a boy...but to tell ya the truth it wouldnt make me upset to have another girl. I have saved all her clothes just in case...it would make things a little easier:) Trying to stay in shape this pregnancy though I have to say I dont think its going so well. ALL I WANT TO DO IT EAT!!!! I went for a 2 mile walk with the Mother in Law today and it was soo refreshing...I am going to make it a point to start walking everyday! WHOS WITH ME!

Its a girl!!!!!!

As of saterday moring I found out that I am having my 2nd daughter. I pretty much knew I was having a girl, just because I wanted a boy so bad! But I believe we get what we get for certain reasons that are un-known. After hearing I was having another girl I quickly flash-backed to the rebelious girls that I went to high school with (including myself:) and got very nervous. The hormones that are going to rule my household in 15 years worry me. My poor husband ha!! But I love this little girl that is swarming around inside my belly...and am happy that I made the smart move of saving everything from my daughter!Needless to say there was 5 min. of dissapointment..followed by gratefulness of a healthy baby girl sucking her hand in my belly. Who knows maybe my husband and I will try for another in 5 years? Its ironic that my husband is 1 of two sons and both sons are having girls. This is our 2nd girl and my brother in-law is having a girl in november. I bug my mother in law that she got all the boys and is giving us all the girls hahaha! Out of 3 chances all were girls hahaha!

Good luck to all those who are trying for the sex they want:)

I decided to buy some houshold fragrants in the aromatherapy area to bring with me. I have them in a small ziploc with some cotton balls (this is so that if I dont want to smell it anymore I dont have to. I also grabbed a rice pack to warm up and use also. Oh, remember your baby book if you want the nurses to put baby's foot prints in it for you. Good luck!

WHAT KINDA PAIN MEDS??? I STARTED GOING TO CHIRO LETS JUST SAY SHE'S MY HERO RIGHT NOW LOL!

CGWTash - Sunday, 16 Dec
Wow, you must really be in some major pain. Kidney stones are a B. I know that there are still a few large ones in mine. I think after delivery there doing a procedure where they blast them to a extremly small size. Ask your doc about that i forgot what its called. Something Letho... I dunno. Are you going to try and ween yourself off the pain killers before your due date. Thats might help any addiction. But i really dont think that will be an issue. Good luck hun and keep in touch!

heatherdanay - Sunday, 16 Dec
I wouldn't worry really. If anything they will be ready to deal with it. Those are really high amounts of pain meds.

Hi there! I hoep your feeling well. I wanted to ask what kind of pain killers your on? I take percocets for my kidney stones. I had intense passing near 20 weeks. And still have several large ones in my right kidney. Just yeasterday the pain returned and now im waiting on results for a culture. I either have a kidney or bladder infections. But from what i have been told the pain killers dont affect the babies system just make them sleepy. I totally feel your pain. Did the docs talk about putting in a stent to keep the affected kidney from passing anything. i didnt opt for it because it asked for surgery. Anyway, Happy Holidays and Happy thoughts. 8 D

Dont worry bout the pain killers. I had to take them with my first preggers due to a freak accident with my hubby. He thought it would be funny to throw a glass of cold water on me while i was in the shower. Well i saw his shadow and pulled the curtin and tried to knock the glass out of his hand and bam there i was shampoo and all 6 mo preggers going to the ER with a sliced wrist. I took pian killers for 2 months. My girl is now 4 and very smart. PS Donat try that at home......

With my last pregnancy, I also had kidney stones. I was more than happy to take the medication given. Also, the dr's don't want you to have too much pain because it can send you into preterm labor. And if the stones are moving, the pain you have will not be lessened with tylenol.
With my last ultrasound this pregnancy, they also saw a kidney stone, so I'm really hoping that this thing won't start to move anytime soon!
I hope you feel better soon, and hang in there!

When changing a boy's diaper... THEY CAN PEE STRAIGHT UP IN THE AIR... AND WITH ENOUGH FORCE TO REACH YOUR FACE!!! LOL... This baby wasn't planned, but was prevented. I stopped taking the pill because I was on a mission to lose weight, was doing a great job at it, and we were using condoms, but once or twice, in the heat of the moment... well, you get the idea. Hince the girl!!! How blessed we are.

SHERRYBABYDEAN - Friday, 28 Sep
If you've passed the stones then I would suggest to stop taking them. If not, then I would try tylenol or even alternating between the two. Don't let the pain get too strong because then you won't be relaxed enough and it may stress you & baby out.Remember, it takes aout tweny minutes to take effect and pain can progress a lot during that time.

smp61403 - Wednesday, 26 Sep
I have 3 boys. One is 11, one is 5, and the other is 20 months. By the time Natalie gets here, I'll have an 11 year old, a 6 year old, and a 2 year old. 2 of my boys were born in January. I guess there's something in the air around May because that is the month I got pregnant with my last 3!!! LOL

knockedupdrea - Wednesday, 26 Sep

They say that morphine and demoral are safe drugs to have in pregnancy. I do believe they are class b . I think the stress of being in pain is more than what the 'drugs' will do. Having kidney stones,I know how it is to be in 'real' pain. Don't feel guilty about taking anything prescribed! As long as you take good care of yourself in all the other ways, the baby will be fine!

SHERRYBABYDEAN - Monday, 24 Sep
Ihad kidney stones w/my 5th pregnancy. The stones accually caused me to go into premature labor @24 weeks! The good news was that the mag.sulfate actually stopped the contractions and most of the pain of the stones as well. You are right.I'd rather give birth any day compared to the intense pain of the stones.i've had 6 kidney sones and I'm having my 6th baby!

smp61403 - Monday, 24 Sep
Oh my!! I'm so sorry about your kidney stones!!! That must have been terrible!!! TAke care and hope the rest of your pregnancy finds you well!
