A little about our family:

Hello! My name is Robin and i am 26. My husband Aaron is 28 and we have been married for 4 years . We have been together for almost 10 years...actually our first was born on the anniversary of when we started dating! We thought that was pretty cool.

Our first daughter's name is Kamryn Mackenzie and she turned 4 on January 6th. She is very sweet (when she wants to be!) and is a very loving child. She cares about everybody and is very cautious when it comes to meeting new people or trying new things. She likes to sit back and take it all in before she decides if it's ok or not. She is in no way shy, but just likes to see life before she jumps in. She adores her little sister, especially when nobody else is around! She is very protective of her and is usually very sweet to her...not always though! My labor with her was great! It was 7 hours start to finish and i only pushed for 23 minutes. She weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and had lots of hair!

Our second daughter's name is Mikayla Jade, and she turned 2 on March 13. She is a momma's girl thru and thru which was very different for me cuz Kamryn was not a child that liked to cuddle. She speaks very well for her age and uses her words to her advantage. She is very vocal....nothing goes unsaid! I don't think I'll ever have to worry about people walking all over her...she doesn't put up with any BS and thats what i love about her! i love her adoring personality and her upfront attitude. She is a little fireball! My labor with her was very fast, only 3 1/2 hours. I actually didn't even have to push her out. I had a water birth with her which i found to be much easier. She weighed 7 lbs 15 oz. I plan on having another water birth cuz it was so amazing.

Below is a picture of our girls at Kamryn's first ballet recital at the beginning of june...her daddy bought her roses! and the other is from this past Easter. They are great kids and i love them sooo much. They have changed me in so many awesome ways. i love being a mom!

**TUESDAY MARCH 13th--14 weeks! hi all, i just thought i would give a quick update. today is my baby's birthday...she is 2!! i can't believe how fast time goes by! its kinda sad, but exciting at the same time. well, this evening when i was on the phone with my friend i really felt the baby move! it was really obvious, and continued for a while...very exciting! the time is going by very fast. i am defenately starting to show....more so in the evening, but now when i get up there is defenately a bump there. my pants are getting tight in the belly, but still good everywhere else! i still have a week until my next appoinment....check back soon!

**WEDNESDAY APRIL 18TH--19 weeks! ok laides, 24 more hours until the big moment is here! 3 out of the 3 gender predictions i did say i should expect a boy....so really i should think the opposite of what they say and expect a girl!...who knows, only time will tell. i just pray that the baby cooperates and lets us see whats going on in there! lol! i am very excited.

**THURSDAY APRIL 19TH--19 weeks 1 day! soooo.....what do you all think?? do you think it's a girl....or is it a boy?? well.......it's a boy !!!we have a little boy who isn't afraid to show off what he's got! the tech checked it out a couple times and said he is defenately a boy! we are so excited. i sat up and said "no way!!" and then the tears came and it was a great moment for both of us! so there, we finally have our little boy :)

**SATURDAY APRIL 21ST--19 weeks 3 days! here's how we told the news to our parents! it was cute. none of our families knew we were going to find out the sex. when we got off the ferry we went straight to my parents place. we often stop in randomly, so it wasn't suspicious. i pulled out the ultrasound pictures, and already my mom was excited...she loves looking at them. when they came to the picture of his penis they were stumped, they couldn't figure out what it was! thats when i pulled out a tiny blue diaper shirt from my back pocket! they looked at it , i think it took them a sec to realize what we were telling them! they both burst out in tears! this is their first grandson. i have a brother but he is younger and doesnt have kids yet. my nana called from england once she found out, this is her first great grand son. my family has a lot of girls, so a boy is very exciting news! my husbands parents reacted in the same way. the only diffenence is that this will be their second grandson, but their first is almost 17 now! aaron has a brother who is 8 years older than him. so thats out story. eveybody is so excited for us, and my friends are starting to find out and we've had lots of phone calls congratulating us. i think once yo have 2 girls you kinda assume you'll always produce girls! well, i admit i have already started buying him things from ebay......im just so excited to be able to look at blue things

**TUESDAY JUNE 5TH--25 weeks,6 days! so.....my hubby brought up the topic last night...not me....that we should have a 3d u/s, just to be sure we are having a boy! so i jumped on that this morning and made myself an appointment....good thing i called when i did cuz it was the last one they had for 3 weeks! so, i get to "double check" that this is infact a boy next wednesday- june 13th at 5:15pm! i am very excited, and better yet, my daughters get to come too. we can actually invite more people if we want so we are thinking of asking our moms if they would like to come....but we havent decided on that yet! i will update and hopefully post pictures(finally) when i get them. bye for now. p.s.... i think i have found a name that i like, so i'll try it out on my hubby when he gets home to see what he thinks....but sorry, it has to remain a secret til he makes his big arrival! thats just the way we do it!

**WEDNESDAY JUNE 13TH--27 weeks! today we went for our 3D ultrasound. it was amazing to see our little guy! he is sooo cute. i was very surprised to see he had chubby cheeks. he looks a lot like my youngest daughter, but has the same mouth as my oldest! it's very cool to see him and to get an idea of what he looks like! i think the best part was watching the little things he was doing and thinking that even now he does the same little movements that my girls did when they were babies. seeing him made me want to have him here now! i think seeing him yawn was the cutest thing ever...his little chin was darling! it was worth the money. i was very happy with what we got to see.... and yes, we got to see that he is indeed a little boy...and get this, when the tech was looking at his boy parts, he reached down with both hands and started grabbing on! typical boy! i have it all on DVD to tease him when he's older!

**FRIDAY JUNE 29TH--29 weeks and 2 days!! it's hard to believe that july is almost here! well, for the past 2 weeks my youngest daughter Mikayla has decided to start potty training herself! it was a very exciting day when she stood up in her little pool outside and yelled that she had to go pee! usually she would just pee in the pool! so from that day on she has been using the toilet for all pees...still working on poops, but that will come! we have even made a few trips to the store without a diaper or pull up and been successful! i am very excited about this and i hope she sticks with it. i don't think she'll go back to diapers while we are at home! i see my midwife on thursday, so i'll update then...hopefully my weight gain has slowed a little....im up about 19 pounds so far....

**MONDAY JULY 23RD--32 weeks and 5 days!! i know i haven't updated in a while, but not much has happened. up until a month ago the baby was transverse (laying sideways) but now he is totally breech. i am praying he turns soon, but am not too worried yet because my last baby was breech until 38 weeks. i saw the midwife last week and i hadn't gained any more weight from the visit before, so that puts my weight gain at 25 pounds. i am really trying to stay healthy and eat right, the last thing i need right now is to be sick. both my girls are getting over strep throat and mikayla had a rough time last night with it. i am starting to get tired again and very uncomfortable....he feels huge in there.... it would be nice if he came a couple weeks early! i kinda forgot how uncomfortable the last 6 weeks are, and how hard it is to get to sleep at night, but i just think of it as training for when he actually arrives! i know i wont be getting much sleep then. i go back for another appointment on july 31st, so i'll update then

**TUESDAY JULY 31ST--33 weeks, 6 days!!i had a great visit with my midwife today. i have gained a total of 30 pounds and i measured 36 cms...which is a little big since i should typically be measuring 34 cms. she felt my belly and said he is defenately head down now, which i kind of suspected because about 3 nights ago he actually woke me up he was moving so much and from then on i was able to breathe easier...and i have been sleeping! she said he feels like he is between 5 and 5 1/2 pounds already! oh my! she said to expect him to be at least 8 1/2 pounds going by how big he felt today! no problem!! i'm just happy that he has finally gone into the head down position. his heart rate fluctuated from 133- 154. i go back to see her on august 14th, then once a week til he is born! i'm getting more and more excited to meet him!

**THURSDAY AUGUST 16TH--36 weeks, 1 day!! i saw my midwife 2 days ago. it was the long appointment where we went over my birth plan and aaron and i got to have an hour to chat with her. it went well and we got everything talked about. she even explained to aaron how to deliver the baby just incase he comes very quickly! he was very calm about it and said he would just have to do what ever he had to to have a healthy baby...he wasn't freaked out or anything. the midwife just went over that because of my past history of having very fast deliveries. the baby is head down and very low in my pelvis which i already knew cuz i feel that aweful grinding feeling on my crevix when he moves! i measured 37cms and have gained 35 pounds. i dont know if i have dialted or not cuz the midwife doesn't check, they don't check til actual labor begins. i go back on wednesday!

**MONDAY AUGUST 27TH--37 weeks,5 days!!yesterday was my baby shower! it was amazing...people are always so generous when it comes to babies. i think this little man is going to be the best dressed kid in town, almost everybody bought him clothes...very nice clothes, which is great because thats basically all he really needed because we have everything else. today i am washing everything and putting it all away! there was one full load of lights and a full load of darks! we were very spoiled. i added a picture of everything he got, it's in my photo album. so, about me.....i have been having non-pattern forming contractions for 3 days now. they are very painful, starting in my lower abdomen and working their way to my lower back. they keep me up at night and wake me up once i fall asleep....but haven't formed a pattern so i know it's just false starts. it is very frustrating, but i know he will come when he is ready. i guess sometime in the first week of september. when i saw the midwife last week i had't gained any more weight and measured 39 cms. i go back to see her in 2 days, i'll update if theres anything exciting!

**TUESDAY AUGUST 28TH--lets just call it 38 weeks!! i thought my appointment was tomorrow but they changed it and forgot to tell me! it was uneventful. i gained 2 pounds in 6 days...gross...and measured 41 cms....i seem to be growing 2 cms every week. the hospital messed up my group b strep testing and tested for a yeast infection instead of the strep, so i had to re-test today and now wait for the results another week! but i don't have a yeast infection! i could have told you that. tomorrow night we are having family photos taken at the beach by a friend of mine who is a professional photographer. i though it would be a good end to the pregnancy and a nice chance to get out as a family. i registered kamryn for another year of ballet, it starts september 17th. she's excited about that. well, not much more to update you guys on....hopefully soon though. until then......i'll try to keep smiling :)

LEVI ANTHONY LITTLE

HE'S FINALLY HERE!! He was born on monday september 10th at 2:26am after only 3 hours of labour. he weighed 8lbs 14oz and was 21 inches long. i got the water birth i was hoping for and i basically delivered him myself. the midwife assited once his body was out to pass him up to me. i laid him on my chest and was happy it was finally over! i am so in love with this little guy. God had blessed me greatly, Levi is a perfect addition to our family, i adore him.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 23RD!!-- Hi ladies! i know it's been a while since i last wrote, i just got caught up with a crazy busy life! Levi is doing very well. he is almost 11 weeks old now and weighs 15 pounds even. he is very happy and so easy going. he rarely cries, unless of course he has to wait too long to eat! he is starting to interact a lot, especially with his sisters. he smiles all the time and he rolled over the other day. he hasn't done it since, but i know he is capable. my life hasn't changed all that much since adding a 3rd child to the mix. he fits in here so well, it's like he's always been here. i adore him, he's so sweet and so far has a very gentle personality. he's a joy to have and i am truely blessed to have him as my son. i added some new pics of him in my album.

March 29th 2008. Hi all, well, it's been a long time, but all is well with us. Levi is now 6 1/2 months. he's 19.5 pounds and 27 inches long. he's a big boy, but sweet as ever. he's on the go now, rolling to wherever he wants to be. he got his first tooth just a couple days ago. he is defenately a mama's boy, which is fine with me. neither of the girls were as cuddly as he is, so this is nice. he is spoiled though. he sleeps with us, which neither of the girls did. i seem to have broken all my personal rules with him! but i know he's my last baby and i want to be sure i take it all in. he's the sweetest little guy and always smiling. he'll be crawling soon, i just know it! he gets up on all fours and lunges himself forward. i am sooo not ready to have him on the go yet, but that's nothing i can control, i just have to make sure the house is totally baby proof. our girls are 5 and 3 and never get into anything so i never have to worry about them. we have stairs off the living room so i'll have to get a baby gate on hinges. when the girls were learning to crawl and walk we were in a different house that didn't have stairs. I waited quite a while to start levi on solids because my middle child had allergies as a baby, so he only just started on solids about 3 weeks ago. up until then he was just breastfed. he was doing great and gaining well when he was only nursed so i wasn't worried. now he east all the time! he loves his food., and seems to be fine. no signs of allergies. i love having a son, he completes our family. i am happy to say i finally feel finished and that i don't want any more kids. i am moving on now and am just about to start my own business, it will be up and running in the next month or so. it's all about babies!! so, i'll keep you updated.

ABOUT MY BUSINESS: i have fabulous baby keepsake boxes made and then i stuff them full of funky stylin' baby gifts that i have hand picked from high end suppliers. it's an on-line business and i ship throughout canada and the US. there are organic baby clothes and hats in there with the cutest slogans written on the front, really cool chenille blankets and burping cloths that are super soft on one side with stylish patterns on the other.....i want them all for Levi! there are fabulous leather starter shoes good for in or outdoors, and super soft cuddly teddy bears.
