False/positives on HPT's are extremely rare. When a positive occurs but then AF arrives it usually means one of two things, a very early M/C or you are pregnant even with AF. I've known several people to get AF for even 3 months and were pregnant the whole time. My guess is, it is one of those two things, simply because the HPT is designed in such a way to ONLY detect the pregnancy hormone. It is virtually impossible for it to detect a pregnancy hormone that is not there. Wishing you luck!

Well, I ordered the super cheap OPK's off amazon and it came with 4 or 5 HPT and the whole kit of 40 something testing strips was about 20 bucks.... super cheap and it all worked! I only needed one HPT!

HELLO YES I AM BACK FROM MY PARENTS AND DOING GOOD...I LEFT MY KIDDOS AND HUBBY SO I WOULDNT BE "TEMPTED" TO GET UP AND HELP...AND I TRULY THINK IT HELPED...I LOST MY MUCOUS PLUG AGAIN AND HAD SO RUNNING DRY BLOOD BUT OTHER THEN THAT IT ALL LOOKED GOOD!!!

no cpntractions! like menstrual cramps that are periodic plus feeling not great, all intermittent (sp?) although...there may be some beginnings of contractions. she's been low for 3 weeks so moving low. Doula on stand by and maccaroni and cheese ;-)

Im still having real bad cramping, but I told my mother about this (shes the closes thing to a doctor I can get until the week actually starts) and she said that it could be me just having my peroid...I guess some girls still have theirs throughout their pregnancy, but Im still going to call about everything....I dont want to risk loosing the baby...

WOOO HOOO ultrasound picture is up, i am feeling a little better I am so happy that i have a heartbeat and that it is a stong, I know that i am still not out of the woods yet, but the dr is very pleased with what she saw and says that baby butler looks to be doing GREAT.

I go to the fertility center on April 21st for blood work and an ultra sound. If all goes well, I will start my shots that night (or the next). AF should arrive on or about April 29th which means my egg retrieval will be around May 12th and the transfer will be 3 or 5 days after that. Then they do a blood test 9 or 10 days later. So it will be around the 26th or 27th of May. This wait isn't so bad. What seems like a life time is the fact that Hubby & I have been trying for 28 months now. And home pregancy tests don't work early when you have IVF treatments. The blood test could show a positive on May 26th but a HPT probably won't work for another week after that.
Well, I hope you get your BPF later this month. Please keep me posted.
