I am 16 weeks and 1 day today! I can `t wait for the 25th when we find out boy or girl! Hoping for a boy ;)I am feeling great (besides the physcotic mood swings my husband has to put up w/!) and I AM LOVING MY BABY BUMP!!!!!!! :) :) :)

I am 16wks & 2 days today :) I `m craving all kinds of salty junk food - especially nachos, cheese fries, anything like that! I was supposed to start baack at the gym today (haven `t been since 2wks ago before went on vacation) but I was working all day and didn `t have time. Now I `m just too tired! Oh well - will start up again tomorrow.

On another note - I LOVE SHOWING OFF MY BABY BUMP!!!!!!!! :):):):):)

Well, today is Monday, Jan. 21st. We go for our next u/s on Friday...and I AM SO EXCITED!!!! It `s taking FOREVER to get here!! We `re both so excited! So is my mom and his 9 yr. old daughter...she wants a boy, just like her daddy does. She wants a little brother so bad. And my hubby wants a boy so bad too!!! I `ll be happy either way, but I do also hope it `s a boy...more for my hubby `s sake! WE `LL SEE....3 MORE DAYS!!!!!!

It is Monday and we found out Friday we are having a beautiful baby girl! We were both disappointed at first, but now couldn `t be happier! I am totally stoked about this little angel growing inside my belly! We have named her Madison May (May is after my hubby `s mom who passed away a couple years ago)Our little Maddy is going to be beautiful inside and out! She is healthy and perfect!!! :) :)

Oh yeah, and I thought my hubby's 9yr old daughter had wanted a little brother, but when we called and told her she's going to have a little sister she shreaked w/ happiness!....and she said the cutest thing, she said "Oh good!!! Cuz boys are really starting to frustrate me now!" Hahaha!!!! :)

Well I am 21 weeks today! Wow, I am starting to get really scared now about delivering and becoming a mommy in 4-5 months! It `s a very scary thought....exciting but scary!!!I haven `t been feeling my little Madison very much this week...not as much as last week, and I still haven `t felt her really kick from the outside...and I really want my hubby to feel. We just got a new puppy, a boxer named Brody. Now we have Diesel, our beautiful pug, and Brody! :) Really, I think my hubby is just trying to put more testosterone in the house!!! LOL

Well I am 22 weeks today! Feeling good - last night I slept the best I have since I found out I was pregnant! :) Not sure why I slept so good. I `ve been feeling my little Maddy kicking a lot from the inside...still have only felt one kick so far from the outside. But everytime I put my hand on my belly to feel her she stops kicking! What a little stinker :) I haven `t been to the gym in over 2 weeks - starting back tomorrow and not looking forward to getting on the scale there... :(My belly `s really getting big :) which I love! I love my pregnant belly and big boobs...everything else can go! LOL

I am 22wks & 4 days today. I have been so stressed, short tempered, frustrated and bitchy lately it `s not even funny. I don `t even feel like myself anymore. I don `t know what to do about it - - - my husband doesn `t know how to even handle me anymore. Seems like all we `ve been doing is fighting. I feel like I `m losing my mind. I `m just so stressed out about everything and I have no escape...I used to smoke cigarettes but quit when found out was pregnant and that was my `me time ` for 10 minutes I `d go outside and have a cigg, but I don `t even have that anymore. I can `t take the dogs for a walk cuz it `s freezing outside (which I `m so sick of winter already). I really need to get back to the gym. I think that would really help. Anyways - on a better note, I got most of my shopping done this weekend for my baby shower next month! :) Picked out everything - travel system, bassinet, swing, bouncy chair, nursery bedding/theme, furniture, EVERYTHING!!! So I `m glad that `s all done...cuz that was stressing me out too. I can `t wait for my baby shower - it `s next month and I get to go back to FL where it `s warm for a week!!! Can `t wait!!! I really need a vacation right now too! :)

Well I am 23wks & 3 days today! Still very moody and emotional, but I am getting a better handle on it now. Missed my dr. appt. on Friday due to a snow storm! Reschuled it for Monday. Can `t wait to hear my little Maddy `s heartbeat again! :)Been feeling her kick a lot now, still from just the inside. I feel her most in the mornings and evenings. She `s real mellow in the afternoons...that must be when she takes her nap! I wish I could hurry up and feel her from the outside so my hubby can feel her too! I `ve been thinking a lot lately about what Maddy `s gonna look like...will she have my hair color, my hubby `s eyes, my lips, my hubby `s nose...I hope she has my hubby `s eyes and nose! I can `t wait to meet our little angel! She `s going to be so beautiful!!!

Last day in week 23...tomorrow I see my dr. and go into week 24! I can `t wait to hear my little angel `s heartbeat tomorrow :)Someone bought us her bassinet from our registry and it was delivered today! I was SOOOOO EXCITED!!!! I can `t wait to put it together, but first have to rearrange our bedroom and make a space for her! :) Feel `s like it `s getting closer and closer now.....

Well it `s Saturday, 2nd day in week 24!!!...and I had my dr. appt yesterday morning and everything is great! Heard my little angel `s heartbeat right away...nice and strong 140 bpm :)So glad she `s okay in there...! My doc is going to start me w/ Physical Therapy for my back pain...hopefully they `ll give me a nice massage for my back!...wouldn `t that be nice....

I am 24wks & 5 days today - - - and I finally SAW my little Maddy kick me! It was the coolest and cutest thing ever, I was working and had my phone sitting on my belly and thought I felt it move, so I was staring at my belly and sure enough I saw a little poke come up from just above my belly button!!!! It was awesome!!! I called my hubby right away to tell him :) He can also feel her now from the outside...Friday night we were laying in bed and he felt her kick a few times! This is the best feeling in the world!!!! So happy to know she `s in there and that I can actually SEE her kicking me!!!! Coolest thing ever! :) Totally made my day!

Well I am in SUNNY FLORIDA this week! LOVING EVERY SECOND OF IT!!!! I can `t wait to move back down here the end of this summer :) I have my laptop w/ me and am working outside on the lounge chair in the warm sun! WAY BETTER than freezing my ass off in CT!!!! My baby shower is on Saturday and I `m so excited! I can `t wait to see everyone! :)Maddy `s doing great - getting to know her `schedule ` now...times she sleeps at and stuff. Love it - I feel like I `m starting to get to know her already! :)I miss my hubby and my boys though :(

Well today is Wed, I got back from Florida late Monday night - Had an AWESOME time! Got a nice tan going on, had my baby shower which was GREAT!!!! Had such a good time - saw so many people I haven `t seen in FOREVER!!! Got to see my family, get outta this dam cold for a week! :) Had a great time!!!! Still missing my hubby though - he `s outta town, but coming back late tonight. :) Missed my boys :( I got a lot of great stuff at my shower, though - got the swing, bouncy chair, bedding accessories, travel system, have to pick out the glider/ottoman from my parents, A LOT of ADORABLE BABY GIRL CLOTHES!!! She `s gonna be the cutest dressed baby girl ever!Anyways - Had a lot of fun...wish I coulda brought the weather back w/ me! ;)

I hear you - my theory was that I grew up with plastic bottles, I microwave leftovers in plastic containers, my Nalgene bottle has the wrong number on the bottom so it's probably got BPA in it� but I'm fine! I guess the big thing is, what are the possible effects of the chemical over several years. There's so many 'possible' links between cancer and different things - seems like there's a new study out every week. Until it's proven, I've got to pick my battles and decide what's most important to me. Avent is supposed to be really good - my sister swore by them, as did my manager. We also got those Gerber Nuk bottles b/c they said the nipple is most like the breast - who knows though!! I've heard different reports on that also - that it isn't necessarily the shape of the bottle nipple so much as the texture/flow and so on. I definitely would like to pump also so my hubby can feed - and so we can have a date night every once in a blue moon and grandma can feed!!! Have you taken a breast feeding class yet? We were told not to bottle feed at ALL for the first 2 weeks until your baby is comfortable with nursing - then if you do bottle feed on occasion, make sure it's not YOU who's doing it b/c the baby will know it's you, and is more likely to reject the bottle. I'm so stressed out about breast feeding! I want it to work so badly but am scared to death it wont!

Wow. Sounds like you're nesting! I get days like that, when I want everything clean and perfect and then days when I just don't want to do anything! Today was one of the not wanting to do anything days. I did clean up some tonight though. I got a back rub last night but I haven't had one in a while. I know what you mean about getting tired so easily.

Ohhhh... Hubby brought home a cat today! We have a dog already and I never thought I would get a cat because hubby is somewhat allergic and he doesn't really like cats. But someone he works with had to get rid of their cat or they were going to get evicted so he took it! So sweet, huh?

I'm not sure if I've started to lose my mucous plug or not. I thought I was cuz my discharge got pretty heavy but I don't know. I know you only lose it once you start dilating but I'm not sure if you definitely lose it when you start dilating. So, yeah, I dunno!

You go back to the doc in 2wks right? Well, 2wks from this past Tuesday? I go back on the 27th, this coming Tuesday but I'll see another doctor in the office cuz my doc will be gone for a few days. Hope Cayden doesn't decide to come while she's gone! I didn't even think of that until now!

Of course I don�t mind you asking! My sister actually gave me a TON of hand me downs, some of which were a TON of Avent bottles. I just had to buy new nipples� so we'll use those, plus we have some Gerber Nuk bottles I plan to use. Ideally I'll breast feed exclusively, but I'm a first timer, and am not 100% sure how that'll go so we have some bottles on hand just incase! To tell you the truth, the BPA free bottles aren't a high priority for my husband and I. There are so many warnings out there for so many different things - you've got to pick your battles and decide what you feel is most important. Good luck with your search - I hope you can find something that works for you and your baby!!

I was speaking to my friend on the phone the other day and she asked me if i was smoking!! I was actually standing still in a shop nut was breathing so deeply - crazy hey, they are squashing our lungs!! Midwife reported all fine for 35 weeks, am carrying a lot of water hence size! Baby is bang on average and should be a healthy 7-8lbs, so pleased with that - thought i had a 10lber on board! They took ages to find his heartbeat though as i am full of static apparently, that worried me a bit but all good and strong when it was found!
I think we all want time to go quickly now so wish we are further along!! I was hoping they would tell me I was actually 39 weeks - ha!

I was put in the hospital twice for preterm labor. This last time was just last week but they only kept me for couple of hours until the meds stopped my labor and sent me home. I have been doing good since the drugs they gave but if I go into labor again I can go ahead and have Bailee. I hope so stays put for at least two more weeks.

I actually bought the playtex drop ins. The nurser starter set comes with a bunch of different nipples so you can see what your baby likes the most. Then, if you need to buy more of a certain one, they sell them separately. Good luck! :)

My appt was alright. Pretty quick. I'm about 3cm and I actually LOST 2lbs! Crazy huh? Now my total is 19lbs. Doc said that he's measuring right on target, which is almost 37wks, so at least I know she doesn't think he'll be a large baby like my first was! I go back next Tuesday but my doc won't be in so I'll see another doctor in her office.

I soooo wish I could have slept all day! I'm jealous! I haven't gotten ANY sleep lately! It's horrible. I bought the Playtex Ventaire bottles. They're supposed to help prevent gas and spit ups and what not. My SIL used them so I thought I would give them a try. With my son, I found out that the cheap bottles worked great! But I started using those when he was about 3months. I'll probably do the same this time around. Use good ones for the first 3months and then use the cheapo bottles. Why not if they work great?

Yes look into the diet you need for a boy, can't think what kind of diet i was eating when we fell, we were on holiday at the time - he's a little greek baby!!
My body is starting to give in on me - I get aches and creaks when I do too much like I was shopping earlier and walking about a bit that when i had to queue in the supermarket for 5 minutes my hips were hurting and ankles and I get really breathless now, mostly when sat down on the sofa!! I haven't had heartburn at all - there is an old wives tale that heartburn is attributed to babies with hair - i think i have a little baldy!! hee.. Have the midwife tomorrow, last time was almost a month ago - can't wait to see how he is doing now!! x

I am using the playtex drop ins..they are safe. :) Thought I would share. You can research it more online if you want. Some (I noticed at walmart) say "BPA free" on the package. Not sure if you have walmart or not...:)

Google 'BPA free bottles' and there are several sites (I looked @ safemama.com on the google search) that show you a list of which ones are safe. I'd heard the Playtex drop ins were BPA free, and they are on the list as well - good luck!

Haha thats kool don't worry about it i've been extremely busy myself - finally finished my last ever project at uni and set it up for assessment and my degree show =) private viewing is on 6th June and my rents and my other halfs rents are going =) its weird am no longer a student =S scary!!! this means i'll eventually have to go out there and get myself a proper job at some point haha

I haven't been to check out the labour and delivery room yet =S but agree with you hope that all goes quickly =S I have been to the antenatal classes last few weeks lol they been interesting lol and the woman couldn't stop laughing at me and my other half we must of been pulling some right faces lol especially when they talked 'tearing' and 'cutting' and some people eating the placenta =S eeewww

Anyhoo am okies taking it easy now I have finished uni - sitting making older sisters wedding invitations... getting real bad heart burn =S and on antibiotics grrrrrrr damn antibiotics!! also having trouble sleeping with being in pain in legs and stretching in middle night and getting cramps GGRRRR sometimes they make me cry =S I was saying to my other half the other day its gone so quickly when I talk to people I don't feel 8months =S prob good thing and I have been occupied with uni and that... just hoping she comes to date as I really really want to graduate on time (what with the whole 10days in afterwards home bound)...

So all happening!! lol not long now =S

It's alright! I know how busy a time like this can be! That totally sucks that you lost your job! And a month, if that, before Maddy comes! Great timing, huh? But like you said, at least you have all the time to get things done! But hopefully they'll give you a call in a couple weeks or so! That must be pretty stressful.

I still haven't gotta a breast pump and I haven't found one that I'm going to get. Although the Lansinoh one sounds decent! I don't think I'll be pumping too much so I'm not going to spend more than $100 on it. I have no idea about the bottle thing either. Some kind of chemical or something. But the bottles I've bought so far are still being sold in stores so I'm sure they're fine.

It's weird, I know that you aren't supposed to, or normally don't feel the baby move as much anymore but lately he's been moving more than ever! And they aren't little jabs and squirms here and there. It's almost constant shifting and pushing. It feels like he bounces on my cervix too. My next appt is on Tuesday too! Hopefully I've dilated more! Have you been checked yet or will your doc check you at this next appt? I was checked at my last appt when she did the step b swab and I was 1cm dilated and my cervix was very, very soft. That was back on May 8th so I'm almost positive I've made some progress!

My labor and delivery tour isn't until the 27th! Wow, so I guess that's next week! Crazy! I think the hospital I'm going to deliver at have LDR rooms... Labor, delivery and recovery. So you don't have to switch rooms for all seperate stages or whatever! I kinda like that. I remember when I had my first though and the L&D room is kinda intimidating!

Today I went shopping and got a new outfit and some sandals. I was in dire need of them. We went grocery shopping and got a dog house! Malachi keeps trying to go in though. He thinks it's his house! I did some yard work this evening too and then I just painted the upstairs sun room, that's part of the master bedroom. We are pretty much done with the downstairs sun room. And we did decide on a paint color for the living room. I can't wait to get it painted cuz I am soooo sick of the mint green in there!

Well, my Mom, sister and step father will be here in a week and a half, on the 28th! I can't wait to see them! I'm kinda thinking Cayden will be born while they're visiting which would be totally awesome! I would loooove for my Mom to be there this time!

Regarding bottles...just look for ones that are BPA free. I purchased the Born Free plastic bottles, but there are many companies now that make them. They're a little more expensive, but worth it.

Good to hear from you. I have been in and out of the hospital. Today I think I lost my plug and was spotting so they kept me on L& D for a while and sent me home because I was having only 4 contractions in an hour and 1 cm diallated. That could last for weeks though. How are you?

I just wanted to let you know we ran into the same problem with birthing classes in my first pregnancy and we checked one out from the local library to save money so that is an idea. I never would have thought of it but someone suggested it that I worked with because the only DVDs I could find were like $70. Good Luck!!

Hey that's great that all looked well at your dr's appt! We did take a few classes... we took a child birth one that was really, really good. I think it'd be good if your hubby could be there too. They go over lots of helpful stuff. I know I'm going to be so stressed out at the time that it's helpful to know that my hubby heard the same info. They help you w/ breathing techniques, massaging, etc. Anyway, we also took a breastfeeding one that was good, and one called "all about babies" where you learn how to properly bathe them, diaper, swaddle, etc. I used to work in daycare years ago, so it was more of a refresher for me, but all new material for my hubby!
Hope all else is going well... I started a new job yesterday. I've been soooo exhausted. It's so hard to fake being a hard-worker right now! Oh well, I can't complain... I feel really lucky to have landed this job.
