I read your post regarding gaining "to much weight". I'm from week 25 and i've gained 22 pounds. My OB says everything is fine. It's odd it's ok for me and not for you..seems inconsistent. Perhaps it's b\c of our weight before hand or something..anyways I don't think you have gained alot and if you are concerned about eating the right foods, what i've been doing is munching on veggies when i need a snack, have eaten smaller and more frequent meals, make sure i consume more fibre b\c it keeps you full longer (oatmeal is one of my faves lately in cookies and cereal..moderation of the cookies of course lol) and try not to give in to the fast food too often. I do indulge in chocolates, and other other sinful delights but try not to go too crazy. Buy some fruit, it's always tasty!! Like cherries or oranges. I also love hummus and whole wheat pita as a snack, so tasty and good for you too. I hope this helps, It's hard to maintain a balanced diet b\c there's so many things you should be eating to get the essential vitamins and minerals especially when you're pregnant. Good luck!

I know the feeling trust me. I hate getting fat. When I turned 21 I was always out and drinking and got kind of chubby then but I worked my ass off to lose the weight and now its all back and I am sure then some. I should have never given my fat girl clothes away. LOL

its hard with the weight gain and everyone says oh relax but then they say the more you gain the harder it is to lose. So how am to relax knowing that.

I am 5'1 and I my weight was 120-123 before I was pregnant and I am now 140. I know the numbers are upsetting to me too. Everyone says you should gain 25 to 35 pounds and I gained 20 something so far and the last months when the weight comes look at this way if yo have gainned 20 pounds so far and you gain a pound a week from now until the end you should have gained 37.

I've gained about 20 lbs so far...i was a skinney minney before i got prego too... I'm 5'3' and weighed 122, now i weigh about 142 and i thought that was alot of weight but to tell you the truth...i dont look big at all...i think its all boobs and baby...lol

I cant decide what I want! I want a little girl but im afraid she'll grow up to hate me or something, on the otherhand I want a little boy cause Ive heard there closer that girls but im not sure if I could handle the crazy things boys do when there little! as long as nothings wrong ill be happy and I can FINALLY start to buy boy/girl stuff and start to decorate! Yeah, im so excited i cant wait! Make sure you keep in touch.

corpsman can usually get shore jobs, but mine is an engineer and will be going to the corpsman school in November... the only bad thing about being a corpsman is sometimes they have to be deployed to land duty with the marines... but I'm not sure how often that happens

I can't speak from experience here but both of my BIL are in the military Army and Navy. My SIL has a 4 and 2 yr old that she is raising while BIL is serving in Iraq. I have a friend at shul who's husband is in Japan and she is 3 weeks ahead of me and she is very sad too. She is living with her mom to help with their other kids. She said that her husband is going to miss the birth and the bris. I would say lean on your family and friends as much as possible along with other military wives who have been through the same thing. Feel free to write me if you ever just need someone to talk to.

hey being in the military life is really hard i have friends here at camp lejeune going through the same there husbands will be in iraq when the baby is born and they have no one but as long as you have good friends and family you will be fine

ah! i don't know if the heart rate thing is always right, but mine was over 150 also and I'm having a boy...regardless of the dreams that I was having a girl and everything!! GOOD LUCK!
