Congrats to everyone! My name is Allie and I `m 21. This is my first baby and Im so excited. It was a great surprise but we can `t wait. Right now Im just looking forward to finding out the sex so our little one will have a name other than `baby `. Im a college student and am currently finishing two degrees in Biology and Psychology and getting ready for grad/ or med school next year.

I went to the doctor today. Heartrate was 154... does that mean a girl :) We'll find out in 3 weeks!!!

Hey hey I'm BARELY hanging in there. Lol, Nah it could be worse... but it's pretty frustrating. We ended up moving back to Chicago (6 months along here.....!) and BOY do they suck at helping out a pregnant woman, DAMN. Because we don't have insurance right now we are dealing with trying to get it thru the government, and they are just SLOW and RUDE, RAR! Hehe, it's just I was supposed to have an appointment on the 13th of this month in Cali and obviously I can't do that now but I'm like trying to stress to these people how I need to not get too far behind with my appointments because DUH the baby isn't just gunna wait around for them to take their sweet ass time to figure my shyt out SOOOO.... lol, just stressed, but other than that my guy might have found another job and so we're lookin' at some places (yay!) we gotta hurrrrry!

Hi! Week's goin' alright.. my doggy came down with the 24 hour stomach flu so that was horrrrible for the poor baby (and mama because I felt so bad!) but he's better now so we're both feeling much better, haha! Just excited to start making up the girly's room, but nothing to really do it with yet so that's kind of depressing.. but on the other hand I guess it is better to wait closer to when she will be here to put things together.. (not as much to dust! hah) Goodluck with your move! Can't wait either, anxxxious!

yeah i heard that, when breast feeding you loose the weight faster and help get your body and everything else into its orginal place. its just through speaking to my midwife she said that if im not going to do it for at least 6 months then there is no point to it all. but im going back to work in 4 after baby is born full time, so im wondering if thts having an inpact on my thoughts

Hey totally feeling you on that huge thing! Shoot me.. but I am having a hard timne getting upset about it and not feeling guilty, lol. Baby girl's like.. "what do you care mama as long as I'm healthy?!" but she doesn't understand these "problems" yet.. one day, lol. just need to figure out about the breastfeeding thing still, i want to for the health n yada but also i am excited to diet which i wont be able to really do if i breastfeed so... eh, still got some time to decide though so, lol, yes can't wait for september!! Also, had any nightmares at all? I totally had one last night AGAIN where the baby was born and I didn't have ANYTHING ready for her.. ir was BAD. lol, woke up like "oh shyt i have to go get a bassinet at least"!

hun dont cry over this, remember your hormones are kicking arse. you will be experiencing so many emotions about your future. you are so young, your body will bounce back like you wont believe. tell your bf how your feeling & say you need some reasurance. thats what i do xx

Congrats on your baby girl! I know what you mean and I feel the same way! lol. 17 weeks DOES feel like an eternity away.. I am so excited to hold her and see what she looks like and hear her.. I just can't wait! On the other small small hand, lol, whenever I start to get too anxious.. I just remind myself of how I should be appreciating my quiet time while I have it, and the "freedom"... although as time is passing here (sooo slowly) I am feeling more and more worthless, my body is like "No!" to everything I want to do.. including walking up our 3 flights of stairs, lol. I gained 35 pounds already and I started at 120.. I am devistated about it, but I've heard of worse, so.. lol. I just don't get much exersize and there isn't that much in my life to help the time to pass, so maybe that makes it worse, anyway..

Yes, I know that we're having a boy. We found out really early (week 12) through some genetic testing, so it's old news for us :)
I was originally hoping for a girl, but now I've gotten totally excited about having a boy. I'm gettin' up there in years, so I might not get a chance to try for a girl next time around. But who knows, right? Let's just see how it goes with one first.
