I thought I would finally share a bit of info about me. We (me, husband, and soon to be 5 children) live on a farm in SW Missouri. We raise pigs, chickens, ducks, lambs for the first time this year, and we have two milk cows and of course calves. Our first milk cow is due to calve any day and we are anxious to have fresh milk again. Not so anxious to milk her 2x a day through the winter but such is life.....We are Christian and we homeschool our children.
I'm nearing the end of week 29 now. Thankfully, I have not had a lupus flare and I have been feeling really well except for the nagging pain in my right hip. That too shall pass. Out of the now 5 pregnancies I've had; this is the first time we have not known the sex of the baby. We wanted to have at least one surprise. It's a little nerve racking because I want to be prepared but I want the excitement of the doctor saying, "It's a .....!!" Our youngest is our daughter and I had a garage sale while pregnant with her and sold most of our little boy clothes to prepare for her. I really have to dig those out and see what I have. Just added one more thing to my To Do list I guess!!

Nearing the end of week 30. We had a new addition at our house on the 29th although it wasn't human. One of our Jersey cows had a beautiful little heifer calf. I found them at 3 am. Now I can focus on having our own baby, once we get the milking routine down. Right now she is not being cooperative.
