Would you let someone videotape the birth?: Not the actual birth no, but still pictures of the baby right after delivery YES. However video cameras are more than welcome after things get cleaned up.

Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: I guess I'd have to say both, I mean of course I'm excited but I'm also scared because I don't know what to expect.

I am now in week 17 of my first Pregnancy, and seem to worry constantly. I can `t help but wonder if my baby is ok, and since this is my first pregnancy I don `t really know what to expect...I `ve read that most woman feel their baby moving by now but I don `t think I have just yet. It `s hard to know exactly what to feel for. I go for my next OB apt on Feb 14th, 2008 for a checkup and to find out the sex of my baby. hopefully all turns out well.

Sunday, 10th Feb
Well, I've been in week 18 for two days now and it's amazing how much has changed since the last time I wrote a week ago...
I now can feel the baby move stronger and know for certain now that those tiny little poking sensations I wasn't so sure about is my little one that's growing inside of me.
I couldn't be any happier as of now, I mean of-course as a mother I still have that constant worry that something will go wrong, but to feel my child move inside of me and know how much he/she is wanted puts a smile on my face first thing in the morning and when I go to bed at night...
It's now only four days until I find out the sex of my baby and I can't wait to find out! Anthony and I both don't have a preference on which sex we'd prefer just as long as it's healthy.

Thurs, 14th Feb
Well today marks the beginning of week 19 and I just found out that I'm having a girl!
I am sooooo excited about this however even with as much joy as today brought to me It seems there is still always room for tears...
Who knew after everyone around me making pregnancy look so easy, that it's really one of the hardest things a woman will ever have to do...

Today during an ultrasound the doctor noticed some swelling or thickening around the baby's neck which is short for saying unusual fluid build up, and of course I'm devastated to hear anything short from perfect just as any mother would be.
The doctor reassured me that this happens all the time and babies still turn out to be perfect and that it doesn't always mean something is wrong but since that can always be an indicator of "down-syndrome" I'm scared lifeless.
I just can't shake the fear that something could be wrong with my precious little girl I've tried so hard to keep healthy.
I've even heard from two people themselves that this same thing happened to them and that their baby was fine, but when it comes to something so serious that's all I can think about.
I had blood work done today and I'll know the results within 7 to 10 days, and though thats not really that long, it's gonna be the longest 7 to 10 days of my life. I can't wait to know how my baby is, but whatever the result she'll still be perfect to me. I love her...

Mon, March 3rd

Well, I finally got the results back on the blood test that test's the baby for spina bifida, and down-syndrome and I have to say, my prayers have really been answered on this one!
All tests were negative which means she's healthy and normal , and I couldn't thank God more for this blessing... Either way though I would have loved her just the same! Anthony and I are now in the process of getting ready for our shower and have decided on the name Kaydence Leigh... We can't wait until she gets here!

Thurs, March 27th

Well...
So far things have been pretty complicated with this pregnancy, however I can't complain... I'd do it a-thousand times over for my little girl!
Last week I was admitted into labor and delivery for fluids from being so sick throughout my pregnancy and to have tests run while they monitor the baby...
All tests turned out fine and the baby is doing great, I'm just one of those unlucky ones that experience this simply because I'm pregnant. That was even my doctors exact words LOL.
I'm supposed to be due on July 11th, however my doctors are going to be scheduling a C-section due to my small build and hip injury.
Normally C-sections are done on the 39th week but they also want to do mine a bit sooner than that so I'm suspecting she'll be here sometime late in June.

With this pregnancy, I'm also a worry wart...
I'm the type of person that thinks something is wrong all the time.
I mean I love to feel my little bean move inside of me but when she doesn't I freak out! LOL
Although I do feel her move everyday and she has days occasionally where she doesn't seems to stop moving for hours, but overall she seems to be a very lazy baby.
People call me crazy because I'd rather have her moving all the time, but at-least that way I know she's fine. LOL
I can't wait until she's here with me!
