Hello everyone and welcome to my page. I will start off telling you a little about myself. I have been with my hubby since March '02 and married in Aug '05. We met in college and have been together ever since. The 1st 2 years of our marriage were wonderful. We just bond so well and love to spend time with each other. We are just inseperable and we love it. We did alot of traveling for 2 years and went out as much as we could. So in June we started trying to conceive and were fortunate that we got pregnant in August. We really wanted to wait another while to keep on traveling the world, but we wanted to try just in case we would have trouble conceiving. I think we are at a good age though, I'm 25 and my hubby is 27. We are pretty stable when it comes to our financial status and both work in the medical field. I am a nurse and he is a respiratory therapist and we also own a cake business. I actually work in the Women's Dept. of my hospital, so I see lots of babies and new mommies. I see the pain and joy of my patients, but most of all the miracle of babies being born. For me I am the youngest and only girl sibling, and my husband is the oldest of his siblings. So this baby will be pretty special on both sides of the family.

4.2 hours ago Now much longer now!
Conngratulations on the baby.
Also, I can understand the love for you and your husband share.
My husband and I dated for two years and finally I am pregnant. I think it comes so easy when you are truly in love with your love.
Smiles,

Sunday, 11 May My baby turned just when I reached week 38!! Crazy, they asked if it felt like he had moved, I said nope. They did a quick u/s and there was a head in my pelvis! So they cancled my c-section but now my bp and swelling is crazy so they will induce me on friday if he hasn't turned again! So you never know, good luck. azmommytobe -
Wednesday, 7 May From all the research I did it seems they don't turn after 36 weeks or so. There is always a reason why they are in that position. Thank god I did not have an ECV done and that I trusted my Dr. They know best. I have a c-section tomorrow. It is 3 weeks early. he is healthy but seems like he has no room in there and that is why he never turned.
Always a reason for everything I suppose. I am in the acceptance stage of c-section.
My baby would have been in severe distress if he was turned. He is only 5 lbs 1 oz. Just simply ran out of space in there! :) Best wishes to you and I hope yours does turn

Wednesday, 7 May Ahh ok - I didnt think that there was a risk, since they do it here to everyone who is breech.
Anyway, yes - please keep me posted - I really do hope everything pans out so you can have a vag. birth and not a c-sec.

Tuesday, 6 May Yeah I can understand that. I am really hoping for you that she will turn - but couldnt your doctor turn her for you if she hasnt turned by the end of next week?
Have you tried doing the exercises that can help a breech baby turn? I dont know if it will help you but I guess it is worth a try. I think it is something like 2x 10minutes a day.
I will cross my fingers for you hun - its not nice being sad when this close to something that will make us so happy - but still, I completely understand you!!

Tuesday, 6 May My neighbor got her baby to turn when she was already 40 weeks, so it is possible. I know her midwife had her doing lots of stuff to get the baby to turn. Maybe research online and try some of those positions/exercises?
Good luck! danish-girl -
Tuesday, 6 May Hi mommy2008!
I am from Denmark. My sister had a baby a few years ago and he never turned so they turned him for her. She thought it would hurt but she says it didnt hurt one bit. She had a normal vaginal birth.
I would make them try to turn him from the outside, and then give birth normally, thats what our doctors recommend if the baby doesnt turn, but they can turn all they way until the end when they are ready to come out. :-)
Hope this helps a bit!
I wish you and your baby all the best and good luck on everything,

Tuesday, 6 May So I saw your entry on the breech page. How did it go? I have my appointment on Wednesday and I will be 36 weeks. Did your doctor tell you that they wait until 37 to try ECV or did you just choose to? I am hoping they will try to turn my baby at 36 weeks just to increase the odds that she is small enough, and that there is enough space, to have it even work. stefani -

Thursday, 1 May Hey my baby is breech also. Doc scheduled a c section for the 12th. maybe even sooner as of last fri i was 2cm 60%. Realy didnt want one at all but in my opinion its safest for baby. Doc did offer to try to turn but his butt is realy low and so is fluid. So hes quite comfortable. Lol. Good luck!! tattoozipp -
Thursday, 1 May Not a problem!!! I am a firm believer of better safe than sorry. I hope everything goes well with your labor and delivery. snowwhite5thbabe -
Thursday, 1 May If you want to try to turn baby, you can try the cat pose described on my page...Also, one mom said that she was leaning against her husband while he was talking, and the baby turned towards him... very interesting!
God bless you and your little one! tattoozipp -
Thursday, 1 May Yes...I wrote that message, but it was about having the umbilical cord wrapped around the necks of both my brother and my son. During the labor process they strangled themselves to death. What is external cephalic version? lesliewill -
Wednesday, 30 April I don't want to scare you, but the baby died. It was horrible. So now I tell everyone who is breech to have the section. My friend's baby was breech & had the section and she did just fine. She healed and has a beautiful 6 month old now. Good luck. Wishing you a beautiful, healthy baby. tattoozipp -
Wednesday, 30 April I think you got the wrong person...I didnt comment on external cephalic version. In fact...I dont even know what that is. mfecht -

Wednesday, 23 April honey- i was told for 8 months that i was having a girl and it was positive by three doctors...and today i did the 4D ultrasound and SURPRISE im having a BOY!!!!!!! so im not Mommy2Olivia anymore :( its more like Mommy2Aaron....dont get me wrong- im excited but jeez ya know...i have well over $3000 worth of girl stuff and i already washed ALL the clothes and now im trying to dig thru everything to match tags with clothes so a word of advice...DO NOT wash anything except what your taking to the hospital. also, if you can, definately invest in one of those 4D ultrasounds. you can do it for like 100 bucks. its sooooooooo worth it honey! i wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy...(having to take back all this stuff)...gosh i know it sounds like im not happy about having a boy- i am- its just having your mind set on a girl for EIGHT whole months and all that stuff...omg its crazy! please dont take tags off of everything unless you are absolutely positive...im getting ready to post the 4D pics so check them out....good luck! Monday, 21 April hey- just read your post about Dreft. you do NOT have to use that brand. I just went to walmart to buy some because thats the only brand pregnant women were talking about washing the babies clothes in but i dunno if money is an issue with you but a regular bottle is like TEN dollars so i was still gonna buy it UNTIL i saw something else called Purex but make sure you get the Free & Clear version (free of perfumes and clear of dyes). so i started to compare the ingredients in the dreft and its ALL the same. and the Purex is about $4-5 for a regular sized bottle which is soooo much better than $10. and now that we bought that, i use it on mine and my husbands clothes too- that way you dont have to buy 2 different kinds. but if your just dead set on buying dreft, women usually continue to use it on theire babies clothes for up to a year- mostly because they want to make sure of allergies and all that. But with the purex, again, you dont have to worry about that ever because you can just use it for everyone in your household for however long you want to. The purex just works for me all around because I have Eczema which is a skin condition that causes rashes throughout your body and im VERY sensitive to dyes and fragrence. anyway- hope this helps, didnt mean to make my comment this long but anyway- good luck!
