Hello, my name is Caroline. I live in Mebane, NC which is near Raleigh. Im 19 years old. My fiance's name is Howard but everyone calls him Trey. Him and I are expecting our first baby May 22nd. Neither one of us have children so this will be the beginning of the rest of our lives- we are so anxious and excited to start this new family. As soon as our little Aaron arrives, we plan to get married as soon as possible. We dont plan on having the actual wedding, just going to get the paper work because he will be leaving for basic training for the army in June. Once he returns, thats when we will have the wedding we have both always dreamed of. I am also currently a store manager for an AT&T Wireless agency.
As a young mother, i am terrified, scared, nervous, BUT ALSO happy, excited, and anxious. I have never raised a child before so im probably going to be very cautious about every little detail in my little girls life. At night when my fiance and i go to bed, Aaron starts kicking and moving alot and the only way she will stop is if Trey has his hands on my belly. That makes me smile. I have many questions and concerns about every feeling and movement i get so if decide to become a friend of mine, please know now that i will be asking you many questions that may seem very silly. With that being said, i do enjoy meeting other ladies in the same situation as myself. its always nice to have someone who's going thru the same things as myself so i have someone to talk to. So thats me....take it or leave it. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

Why can't those girls/women get a life. It's like I'm not searching for my ex's, I wish them well, but that's a closed book, I'm done with it, I've found the one I was looking for and now we're writing our own book, I don't care to remenisse over past failures. And if they had their own they would feel the same way. I know exactly what you're talking about, the ex-girl tries to snake her way in by seeming harmless and flattering and accepting of the new wife and then, tricking the man and getting them in their trap, that is unless the man has a smart wife and she can see and knows the tricks women play, and shines light on what her man could not see, then that snake of a woman will not succed. Me and you are the smart women LOL ;) but it's true. Well me and my hubby are so close that we share everything, ad when it comes to a guy or girl messing with either one of us, I handle his "problems" and he handles mine. When she wrote him he left everything for me to read so that I would handle it, although he did respond to her and tell her that he was married to me with 4 kids and we are both ministers of Christ now. So I am proud of him for stating that he was with me and had a family and was a changed man, a man of God. Thanx for your empathy, I'm glad I have you girls on here. TTYL

thank you, and yes I was KEEPING makeup on for a couple weeks before the day cuz I wanted to be ready at any time. but then it got down to the due date and was induced, and I wore that same make-up 2 days. LOL but it lasted well, I'm proud of it ;) for hanging in there as long as it did. Me either. I really wanted to look nice for pics this time, since the other 3 I looked like crap run over. LOL But thanx for caring. I've looked at your profile a few times myself. I like to hear from you on here. TTYL

hi,I was reading your post and sometimes I think I'm overfeeding Reighan.I just feed her on demand.Our doc gave us a feeding chart,but it says nothing is absolute.My daughter was born on june9 and we feed her between 28-30oz. a day.This is my first child,so I get worried all the time,but my mother tells me to use my common sense.

Hey, Don't feel bad about feeding your baby alot, he probably needs it. My son only cries when he is hungry, and last week he would start screaming an hour after feeding, so I would put him on the breast and he would go to town again. Well when I took him to the docs for his 1 month check up he had gained over 2 pounds since his 2 week checkup and grew another inch. So my son has grown over 2 inches since birth and gained 3 lbs! Doc saidd that I am doing everything perfectly and to feed him as often as he needs cause he is growing great, so you just feed your babes as much as he wants, he probably needs it right now

what a cutie!!! well when my little one decides to scream her head off i put her in her bouncer. it vibrates and i bounce it for her, she seems to like it. it distracts her for a little bit, that and i will hold her so her head lays on my shoulder. she likes that a lot when shes fussy and will usually fall asleep. dont know if that will help! nmck - Wednesday, 2 July
Hey! Michael had a rough time after his 2 month shots. I had to give him tylenol for 2 days. He also threw up twice and ran a slight fever. From the info sheet I brought home from the doctor all of that was normal, as well as increased irritability. I know how frustrating it is to know they aren't feeling well. I hope he settles down soon for you!

I'm on WIC as well and my daughter drinks the Similac Isomil. I went to my doctor's office and they gave me a "WIC special request form" so that I can receive Similac Isomil vouchers. I took it in to the WIC office and they swapped it over with no problem. Maybe you should reach out to your pediatrician's office and ask them can they write you approval to receive the milk that you want. Worth a try! Good Luck!

Thanks. I think I'm going to keep taking them, to keep me strong and healthy for my baby. Also, I plan to try to get pregnant in 10-11 months so it is probably a good idea.

I wanted to tell you about WIC b/c of your post. You said something about mommy and daddy not being made outta money, and how that was why you felt bad dumping half a bottle of formula when your baby was done eating. So I thought if you had free formula, you might not feel so bad dumping it :) Well, to be honest, I have WIC, but I breast feed, so I don't know how they know either! But that is a really good point! How do they know how much formula you will use in a month!?

I put my daughter down anywhere betweeen 9 and 10:30 pm. Always after a Johnson and Johnson Bedtime bath (its supposed to help babies sleep better). Afterwards l lotion her up with the bedtime lotion and swaddle her legs only. Then I give her a 5 1/2 once bottle with a bit of rice cereal (i know - they "say" "no" but....
). She's out til 5 a.m., 5:30 a.m. the latest. I guess its safe to say my daughter sleeps through the night.BUT, get this - if I do the whole routine WITHOUT the bedtime bath...she will only sleep till about 2-3 am and wake again at about 5-6 am...so needless to say I swear by the bedtime bath.
The only reason I started using the cereal was cause I start work in a week and a half and I wanted to see if that would hold her for a longer period of time so I could catch some extra zzzzzz's.Trial and error....She does well with it and its only once a day at bedtime.
Do you use the bedtime bath? If not, try it...seriously, I've heard great things about it which was why I tried it...and viola!! As for the cereal...its up to you...whatever you feel comfortable with. Are you back working yet?
