Hey My name is Sierra. I am 21 years old and I am going to be a first time mommy. I think I am due October 10, 2008. I havent been to the doctor yet, but I have an appointment next week. (feb 20) I am nervous about being a first time mom, but I worked at a daycare for almost 3 years.... So I think it kinda prepared me for it. I just got married November 24, 2007. I am married to a United States Marine. We couldnt be happier!

*We have finally picked names out. If its a girl, her name will be Kenzi Irene....after my maw maw (rip). If it is a boy, his name will be Cayden Alexander. Now I cant wait to find out what it is. My next appointment is May 28!! Only 14 more days!! I am so excited. I am ready to start shopping and decorating the baby room.
This pregnancy has been amazing so far. I havent been sick and I havent had a headache at all this week.....knock on wood. I hope it stays that way. I feel the baby move atleast once a day. I cant wait until my husband can feel it. I know he feels left out, and I hate that. Since he is a Marine, his job doesnt let him off of work so easily and he hasnt been able to go to any appoinments except my very first one. He wont even get to go with me to find out what it is =(. Then he will have to wait another two days before I can tell him what it is because he will be out in the field. ( they arent allwed to have cell phones or anything out there while they are doing military exercises). Anyways I guess I will stop rambling now. I hope everyone is doing great! Week 19 is coming soon =).

* I had another appointent today. Everything thing is going fine so far. I have gained 5lbs, and the heartrate was still strong and fast. Thank god. We have an appointment on May 28 at 9am to find out what the sex is! I am so excited I cant wait!! I hope all you other moms to be are doing great to!! Take care everyone!

*Well I finaly got my first gyno appointment for March 5th at 1:30 pm. I am so excited! Hopefully they will do our first ultrasound that day. I will be 8.5 weeks then, does anyone know how early you can see a heart beat? So far I havent been to sick yet, I really havent felt pregnant other then the urge to eat every 2 to 3 hours! Is anyone already thinking about Easter dinner yet? Oh man I cant wait =). I will def. take advantage of my hunger tht day!!! haha. Anyways I hope all you other mommy to be's are having a great day!!!!

Hi There. My middle name is Irene and so is my grandma's. We were going to use it as a first but could not think of anything to go with it for a middle. I love the name. It is not very common at all which I also love. I hope that you are doing well. Are you having a boy or girl? I had an appointment yesterday and my midwife was not sure. She thinks boy. Thanks for the prayers. I need all I can get. I am sorry that your husband will have to leave shortly after the birth. My girlfriend had the same thing happend to her. Her advice: "Somedays will be great and somedays will not. I take each day as a new day and forget the bad ones quickly." She has 14 month old twins. I think that being a military wife is the hardest thing a women can do (minus childbirth)! :) I will say prayers for you and your family too. Take care.

yeh thats what i meant.. i havnt had any scan scans at the moment.. just heard the heartbeat but that sound thing that the midwife dose.. i sent all the luck 2 ur bf and family and hope he stays safe...
how long has he gotta go to iraq for? i bet ur kinda scared arnt you..?
i admire your strength in the situation... i think the worrying would drive me insane..
are u looking forward to finding out the sex..? my partner dosnt want to know.. but i havnt got the patience to wait to find out. haha

Hey I wouldn't worry too much about not showing yet. If you are anything like me when I was pregnant with my son, you won't be able to really tell until you are a little further along. I am naturally thin and I didn't think I was ever going to show. But I finally popped out there I think around 5 months or so. Enjoy it now!! Good luck to you and congrats on the pregnancy!

I knew this lady who went to the beach and would dig a big hole in the sand and lie on her stomach, placing her belly in the hole.
I don't think there could be anything wrong with it. Vitamin D is really good for you when pregnant. Just don't overdue it.

And yes, they should be doing an ultrasound, and you should be able to see your little one's heart beat. Anyway, I saw that you were in Jacksonville... I am on the outer banks. My boobs really hurt off and on, it wasent a steady pain. The def. got alot bigger and were more sensitive, but they didnt'hurt ' all the time

Hi there, saw your question about not feeling pg every day - I am 23 wks now, but went thru the same thing in my 1st trimester. I had really sore bbs, nauseousness, etc one day - then the next day they'd be gone. I convinced myself something was going to go horribly wrong. Amazingly, the symptoms would return a day or two later. It's hard not to worry during that 1st trimester, but try not to worry to much! Good luck to you!

As early as you are in your pregnancy, It is normal to feel pregnant one day and not the next.. Remember most women do not even know they are pregnant till around 8 weeks or later.. Good luck to you and best wishes.

Congrats on your pregnany and it is totally normal to not feel pregnant sometimes. I am 22 weeks and sometimes I wake up and feel I am not pregnant. I feel like I have a beer gut LOL

hi my name is vianela and i already have a 9 month old at home i find out that i was pregnant last week i dind't think that i was pregnant because i was spotting so i thought i was going to get my period but to my suprise i decided to take a pregnancy test since i also spotted with my son till i was 3 months and it turn out to be that i am pregnant my obgyn told me that i was very pregnant so im now 7 weeks pregnat next week i go in for and ultrasound to listen to the baby heart bit i cannot wait
