Hey My name is Sierra. I am 21 years old and I am going to be a first time mommy. I am due October 11, 2008. I am nervous about being a first time mom, but I worked at a daycare for almost 3 years.... So I think it kinda prepared me for it. I just got married November 24, 2007. I am married to a United States Marine. His name is Chris. He is so excited to become a Daddy! I cant wait to see him holding our little boy in his arms, thats going to be an amazing day! We are so Blessed!

Well I think I jinxed myself with the last blog lol. Man these last few weeks have went by slow. It seems like everyday is going by slower and slower. I figured my little one would be here by now.....Boy was I wrong lol. Looks like I am going to be in the 40+ week club. Good news is that my doctor doesnt want me to go to far over 40 weeks, so she will induce me if I make it to my doctors app. this thursday! How exciting! I must say I am a little jeleaous of the Ladies who have already had their little ones =). I am also very happy for them though.

Its so funny when you look back to when you didnt have a baby belly, you remember thinking when am I going to start showing....now that we are all in pain, our feet are swollen, and our va jay jays are no longer visible to shave we are so ready for this to be over with! lol. Well most of us are anyways. Pregnancy is a beautiful/amazing thing.....but im ready to sleep on my stomach again! I will miss the way that food seems to taste so much more flavorful lol. I will be even more happy told hold my baby boy, and see my hubby finally hold him. It makes me want to cry just thinking about it. =). Well Now I know for sure this will be the last blog lol. Because if he aint out by thursday on his own...he's getting forced out lol.

I just want to say thanks to all you ladies for answering all my questions, and just being there to talk to when noone else knows what your going through. I cant wait to read everyones birth story! Good luck with your labors and God Bless !

I just realized that its been a while since my last update. Wow almost 2 months! Well I finally feel Cayden having hiccups! Its so wierd how you can tell right away what your baby is doing. My hubby and I finally finished up his room. The only thing we could do is paint the walls. =( I wish we could have. I have already washed all his clothes, blankets and bedding. I am def. in nesting mode now! I clean something everyday even if it doesnt need cleaning. I have also packed his bag for the hospital. The only other things I have left is packing my bag, and boiling bottles and pacifiers.

Next week I have my 36 week doctor appointment. They are going to do my cultures and a sonogram to see how growth is progressing. Which I am praying that everything is fine . I have been having alot of BH contractions lately, and today my stomach feels kinda crampy. So hopefully the end of pregnancy is near for all of us ladies! Wow another month has flew by. Where is the time going? Is anyone else feeling a little overwhelmed? Like you not going to have everyhing done by time the baby gets here? I just had my baby shower last weekend and we got tons of stuff. Baby Caydens room is so crowded right now, I dont know where I am going to put everything! I have a stroller, and swing to put together. I still have to wash the bedding, find a place to put the bathtub(s) yes we got 3. I have so much to do. I did get all his clothes washed and hung up yesterday. Which is nice. After I get everything where I want it to go, I will start decorating!

His room is going to be in an Ocean theme. The bedding has seashells, dolphins, crabs, octopus', and starfish all over it. Its blue, red, orange, light green, yellow, a little purple and pink. Its def. for a boy haha. I think it will be cute when I get done with it. It would be better if we could paint the room, but since we rent we cant. oh well though, I guess we can do that when we get a place of our own.

Is anyone else counting down the days until baby is here? I cant believe I only have 85 days to go! Thats like nothing at all. Pretty soon we will all be holding our little bundles of joy =). * Wow time is flying by soooo fast! Am I the only one who feels like this? I mean we only have 17 weeks of this pregnancy left!!! Im sure once I get to big to do anything, time will go by much slower...but im enjoying it while it lasts.

Nothing new really going on. I am still feeling great. I have a little bit of a cold, but nothing to bad. I am getting excited about the baby shower next month. I have been helping my mom round up addresses, and planning the menu. We are def. going to have some good eating I know that!

Also I dont know if any of you live far away from home, but It is already getting harder to travel. We live 5 hrs away from our families ( thank goodness they live close together) and I have use the bathroom every hour and it seems like the trip takes forever because of that. I get so aggrivated and ill by the time we get home. Im just glad we get to stay for a whoe week this time instead of a couple days like normal. I think after the week of the baby shower, that will be our last time traveling until after the baby is born. I will be 7 months and its time for our families to come see us. So anyways I hope everyone else is feeling/doing great. My next doctor app is the 25th of this month, so I will update again then. Take care

* We found out that we are having a BOY! We are so excited! And we are celebrating by going shopping tonight! haha.

The doc. told us that Cayden is 12 oz already!! Does anyone else know how much their baby weighs yet? His heartrate is 145 BPM, and he is def. going to be a thumb sucker. haha. Well i just wanted to update everybody! I hope everyone is feeling great and having a smooth pregnancy! Take care!!!!

*We have finally picked names out. If its a girl, her name will be Kenzi Irene....after my maw maw (rip). If it is a boy, his name will be Cayden Alexander. Now I cant wait to find out what it is. My next appointment is May 28!! Only 14 more days!! I am so excited. I am ready to start shopping and decorating the baby room.

This pregnancy has been amazing so far. I havent been sick and I havent had a headache at all this week.....knock on wood. I hope it stays that way. I feel the baby move atleast once a day. I cant wait until my husband can feel it. I know he feels left out, and I hate that. Since he is a Marine, his job doesnt let him off of work so easily and he hasnt been able to go to any appoinments except my very first one. He wont even get to go with me to find out what it is =(. Then he will have to wait another two days before I can tell him what it is because he will be out in the field. ( they arent allwed to have cell phones or anything out there while they are doing military exercises). Anyways I guess I will stop rambling now. I hope everyone is doing great! Week 19 is coming soon =).

* I had another appointent today. Everything thing is going fine so far. I have gained 5lbs, and the heartrate was still strong and fast. Thank god. We have an appointment on May 28 at 9am to find out what the sex is! I am so excited I cant wait!! I hope all you other moms to be are doing great to!! Take care everyone!

*Well I finaly got my first gyno appointment for March 5th at 1:30 pm. I am so excited! Hopefully they will do our first ultrasound that day. I will be 8.5 weeks then, does anyone know how early you can see a heart beat? So far I havent been to sick yet, I really havent felt pregnant other then the urge to eat every 2 to 3 hours! Is anyone already thinking about Easter dinner yet? Oh man I cant wait =). I will def. take advantage of my hunger tht day!!! haha. Anyways I hope all you other mommy to be's are having a great day!!!!
