Tuesday, 29 April Oh congrats! There is nothing wrong w/ being induced. =) Seriously I am so happy I did this when I did it. My little man is so adorable and as a first time mommy I am experiencing so many amazing feelings. I think everything happened the way it was supposed to. (I can say that when my pain pills are doing their job! =) As of now, we are home. Hunter and i were dicharged from the hospital today. He has breastfed beautifully and already given us a really good poopie diaper. We have discovered a whole new list of things to get excited about. We're actually happy when he passes gas! Go figure! I love being a mommy and I can't wait to feel 100% again. Keep me posted on your situation too! shell1981 -
Monday, 28 April hi
thanks for the advice hope you are doing well newmom-2be -
Monday, 28 April I've heard the same thing... been doing some research on it and I've only heard positive things. Especially the clean feeling afterwards. However someone said I may risk the chance of getting an infection which I do not want at all, especially being so close to delivering. I've got an appointment made for Thursday for a brazilian, so if he can hang on until then :) I may end up doing a bikini wax instead since it is my first. Hubby thinks I should go au-nautral... LOL! Not a chance! Thanks so much for your help and goodluck with your pregnancy!! mrsjcarr -
Sunday, 27 April LOL! I agree...it does not take a rocket scientist to know that it wii be any day now! Take care :) kayo -
Friday, 25 April Hello! I am having the same pain...its not all the time but occasionally when I sit on the toilet or am walking around for a period of time (like on a walk) or have a full bladder. I have no idea what it is but it definitely makes me stop in my tracks. It feels like someone is stabbing me down there. I can't tell if it is the baby pushing on a nerve or what? It seems definitely attached to my bladder. My doc said the head was low so that explains the pelvic discomfort I have in general. I am 37 weeks today. I want to ask my doctor about it next Wednesday when I go. Maybe you have an appt earlier? lulu81usc -
Thursday, 24 April It's 4pm right now and we have to be at the hospital around 5! I had to jump on here one last time before I head to the hospital. I love the encouraging messages! I will be sure to take a bunch of pics so that I can share them with everyone! I am sooooo excited! elli12 -

Tuesday, 22 April My mom who worked in labor and delievery for a very long time and has three kids of her own, said that you usually feel REALLY good the day of or before you go into labor. It's the body's way of giving you a little extra energy for the labor I suppose?
Good luck! lilmissred -
Tuesday, 22 April I dunno Momma, my best friend told me that the night before she went into labor.. she had the best sleep EVER! so maybe since ur feeling so great and unpreggers.. this is the calming before the storm??? YAYYYYY for u! Early Congrats! lulu81usc -
Sunday, 20 April You definitely have some good ideas. I have tried to think about where I could pump at work. We don't have a closet or office that doesn't have windows. I mean the facilities are a major issue. See this office has only been around for 3 years and I am definitely the first woman to work there and have a baby. To be honest, I sell cars for this company. I drive cars that are actually "for sale" to and from work. Sitting in the back parking lot with my breasts out is pretty risky. Sometimes I'll go out back and rest in one of the cars but that doesn't seem to stop a coworker who wants to show that car from coming back to talk to me. Don't forget, I work with a bunch of young guys. I have spoken to a couple of friends who make pretty good money, one being a pharmaceutical rep and they other working for an insurance company. They both think there may be some openings coming up. This means good money and way better hours. I think the best thing for me is to do something else. Plus since I won't move, there isn't much room for me to move up in the company and if I did, I would have to work more like 70 hours a week. Yikes! If one of these jobs work out, I will give my boss a heads up. He and I are good friends and I don't want to throw this at him at last minute. (Honestly I bet they will see this coming.) babyboi3 -
Saturday, 19 April My midwife gave me Ambien last night after being at the hospital with regular contractions (but they weren't progressing, so I got sent home). Anyway, I slept ALL night. It felt pretty good. It would help you a ton, it works pretty fast after you take it...good luck. :) jenim24 -
Saturday, 19 April I'm not much into meds, but a natural alternative to getting sleep is...Sleepy Time Tea. You can get it in the tea section at any grocery store. It works like a charm!!!! triafrog -
Saturday, 19 April I would say do it! I got the Ambien and got the best night of sleep in MONTHS - i feel so revived and had energy like never before!
