Thursday, 6 Mar lol about the widows peek. so i heard its hard to styleyour hair more when youhave a widows peek? like you'll havemto wear it the same way forever. and is it more common in white races rather to black/spanish? mommyjenn -
Saturday, 1 Mar Ty the support. I think people just don't realize what comes out of their mouths and it's so insensitive. I just couldn't take it anymore. I would think that family of all people would be the most supportive but they seem the worst. gurliegirl14 -
Tuesday, 19 Feb I have also been getting like a burning feeling at the top of my belly but I wasn't sure what it was. first-time-mami -

Sunday, 20 Jan That is a very funny story! I've been doing stuff like that too. I tried to call my husband the other day and I kept dialing my mom's number. She'd answer and be like, 'What??' By the third time she just picked it up laughing. I'm like, OK I NEED to pay attention!! haha! chezslittlejake -

Monday, 14 Jan I am trying my best to not get excited yet because it still seems quite a ways away. I am feeling somewhat anxious at times, but don't want to feel that yet. ha ha ha I think that they are planning a surprise baby shower, but I have no clue. I know that my husband is ready to start buying the big items, but we want to give my mom and others some opportunity to go into big items as a group. I cannot believe that we are counting down though. It will be weird having another child. I have had the 2 kids for 10 and 13 years now. I gave all my stuff away so I am literally starting over. I do love children and would have one more if I was not getting to that age. wmpgurl8604 -
Sunday, 13 Jan Congratz on your pregnancy. empowers -
Sunday, 13 Jan Hey! I saw your post, I am due March 26th and have also been having the 'cramps'. I asked my doctor and she said it is more than likely just the ligaments that hold my uterus in place stretching. She said as long as there is no blood or leaking, it is fine! Hope that helps you! sickasadog -
Sunday, 13 Jan hello and congrats on your pregnancy. I have been getting serious braxton hicks for the past couple weeks now. I am at the point where i am nervous about the real thing because the BH is making me moan at times. on this site, I think it was around 23 wks, it said that we could start feeling them. I wonder if that means we have a chance to go early. ha ha ha naomijane -
Saturday, 12 Jan Hey I saw your post about 'period cramps' I have been getting them too and was also wondering if it was braxton hicks? Has anyone told you whats up yet? momoffive -
Saturday, 12 Jan Hey, I just read your comment on the guy party. I was thinking since I have gotten all of the fun of 3 babies worth of showers, that would be a fun thing to put together for my husband....I wasn't sure how to go about doing it though. Diapers is a good idea! Its something he's going to have to buy a ton of and any that we dn't have to buy would be a major gift to him :-) That is such a great idea. I'll have to call one of his buddies and see if they have some input. Jo-Mama -
Friday, 21 Dec Yeah, I'm wiped. We never lost power, but my poor husband is always outside shoveling. And then the plows come by and he's got to shovel it again. The hardest part is trying to walk. The sidewalks are mostly not plowed, so I'm always trudging along somewhere. It is so tiring. And I hate having to get all dressed up just to go to the corner store for bananas. It's such an event to leave the house now.
It's supposed to rain here on the weekend. That'll make everything even messier. I hope it doesn't really happen.
Are you spending the holidays in Moncton? My husband grew up in Cape Breton (his parents are in Dartmouth now). So we drive through Moncton sometimes when we head out east.
We'll be going to Cape Breton this summer for a big family reunion. I wonder what a 4 month old would prefer - a plane ride or an 18 hour road trip. I guess we'll figure it out when the time comes. Jo-Mama -
Monday, 17 Dec My poor husband is trying to shovel our driveway right now. The shovelling part isn't so bad - there's just no where to put the snow! The snowbank is alrady over his head and we don't really have a fron yard to pile snow in. He looks so sad out there. And he's doing the neighbour's driveway too because they are on vacation this week and we're trying to build some good karma.
We ended up with 37 cm, and we had 30 cm 2 weeks ago. It's so different from last year. And can you believe it's not even winter yet! rachele -
Monday, 17 Dec My son will be 2 on January 2nd. Zachariah is very excited about 'baby sister' I can't wait!!! Jo-Mama -
Monday, 17 Dec This year I am more prepared than ever for Christmas. It's amazing what you can get done in a day when you don't have to go to work. So my shopping is done, wrapping's done, baking's done. I even made my own Christmas cards (with the candy cane ultrasound on the cover). I told all of my friends that next year they'll be lucky to get a post-it note at Christmas time. Can you believe we'll have 8-month olds? It's so hard to believe.
You must be getting that huge snowstorm that we had all day. It's crazy to see how much snow piled up. It's starting to slow down now, but I hear it's all headed your way now.
We're going to spend tonight watching Rudolph and drinking hot chocolate. Sometimes I really do love Canadian winters, especially when I don't have to drive to work. Jo-Mama -
Saturday, 15 Dec Sounds like you're a lucky duck - I am too! I am a teacher in Quebec and I have my entire pregnancy off work because I don't have immunity to Fifth Disease. Quebec's the only province that lets us take a preventative leave like this. And I get 90% of my salary. So I haven't worked since June 2007 (I was off for the summer) and now I'm off all of this year and next year!
Ah, the sweet sweet Canadian life. Don't you love it? I feel so badly for all the American girls who get only 8 weeks off. I can't even imagine it. dmtheria -
Friday, 14 Dec We have the exact same due date:)
