Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

I am kind of getting better with handling my daughter now LOL. Its still so horrible she will cry all night with me (people say she can sense my stress but i'm not stressed! LOL) but the second my mom holds her she's silent. I guess I just have to hold and talk to her more! Solved her little colic problem too haha she wasn't she just didn't like the milk i guess. I bought the expensive one from enfamil though, nutrimagen. ...........well she sleeps though LOL.

I'm worried i'm that one black girl who has a baby potentially with colic lol. She just keeps crying and I JUST now found out my baby may like sleeping on her tummy..but I have to be in the room. (She only sleeps on my chest at night by the way) Maybe I just don't have that touch like my mom lol. Jaeden will cry bloody murder for 30 minutes to an hour with me, I'll dance, sing, walk and talk, nothing. My mom comes in holds her (sitting down)and she gets quiet automatically and has the nerve to coo lol. I don't have that mommy touch or my daughter just doesn't like me.

Let me know how it works. I've tried so many different things until I found what worked for us. Soo just tweak your schedule until you get it right!! Once you get a routine down... your life will be 1000 times better... we are still working on one but our semi routine makes life so good !!

And from what I;ve read they say they can't be spoiled until 4 months!! Soo we got some time

Cut on the air and then swaddle her leaving her bottom out. So you are just binding her arms. Reagan sleeps swaddled, but she is barefoot and only has on a short sleeved onsie. We live in the south.

You can swaddle her and put her in a sling nad walk with her. If you swaddle them, put them to sleep with a hair dryer or put them to slep somehow, and then use the swing. Raegan will not stay in the swing if she is up, but sleep she will stay in for hours.

I have a lot more suggestions if that still does not work.

elizabeth is the same way, if i put her down she screams. so when she decides to be a total diva like that, i just put her in her front carrier and walk around the house, then atleast i have free hands. usually she will just fall asleep in it. you might try that

Have you tried to swaddle tightly, put baby to sleep, and then in a swing? My little girl would not sleep or rest unless I held her, but like that she would sleep for hours.

my son was getting the same way. He will follow me with his eyes when I start to walk away. I have started a routine somewhat and it has helped. Everyday he watches his mobile for 20 minutes (until he gets fussy) then we go to the swing, bouncer and/or playmat then my bed... or the couch... I just try to put him down as much as he will let me. Usually after he has done 2 or more of the activities he will get tired. I started laying him on his tummy and he goes right down for MUCH longer naps than before. I am trying to get him used to not being held since he will go to daycare eventually. Oh and that is what they do in daycare.. they alternate from the swing, bouncers, playmats and then being held basically all day.

AND BTW, my son is definately spoiled if they can be at this age, LOL!!

hey everyone! im so sorry iv not been in touch sooner been a mummys hard lol

iv got 121 messages to read lol i dont think ill be able to reply to them all but heres a quicky to update you all

i had the baby FINALLY 15 days late after having 4 prostin tablets and my waters broken she was born after 5 hours of labour and 40 minutes of pushing....

yes thats right i said SHE lol. i got a girly baby and i couldnt be happier shes absolutly adorable, Andy and i called her Amy Felicity as he likes the name Amy and i wanted to call her Felicity after my friends little sister.

ill be putting pics up in a jiffy so keep looking, im gonna be changing my profile lol xxxxxx

hahaha im still here! not with baby! i got sent home coz theres too many ppl doing it naturally and they have too many in for induction and too many having emergency sections!! so little old me got fucked off!! TYPICAL gotta ring back at 2 pm to see if i can go in :( if not its tomorrow. if im not getting done today im just gonna shag all day long lol I am NEVER gonna get this babyxxxxx

Hey there. I decided to see how many names I recognized in the baby section and yours was the only one. Your comment about being crazy for starting over is exactly how I'm going to be. My girls are 13 and 10 so I'm worried that i've been use to the independence for way to long and it won't be as easy this time. around. So are you breastfeeding? Is that why she is eating so often? Are you getting any sleep? I hope things are going great for you both, and hopefully I will be joining you in the baby section next week!
