This is our first baby and we are sooo EXCITED! I am lucky to be married to the man of my dreams, who is also my very best friend. We feel blessed to have conceived the first time trying and are anxious to meet our little one in April. My husband and I have been reading this page for a while and it's given us a lot of support - so thank you for reading my page! Best wishes to all you Mommies!

November 20th

We had our first ultrasound today. It was neat to see the baby on the screen. He/She had their entire fist almost shoved in their mouth, it was cute. The tech was unable to see what we were having and I do have to go back as she was unable to get some of the measurements due to the position of the baby. So I hope to be able to find out the sex in December! It would be a nice Christmas gift! I also found out my placenta is right up by my belly button that's why I haven't felt the baby much as the placenta cushions the kicks from the baby. So I hope they start kicking more hard so I can feel them more.

December 13th

We had our second ultrasound today - so excited to find out we are having a GIRL! We had our hearts set on a little girl so we are extremely excited! Our tech today was great, and we got a cute photo of our daughter sucking on her thumb (too cute). She said a couple of times that she didn't see anything dangling, and she had me turn on my side to get a great view of the inbetween the legs, and said she is pretty sure it's a girl cause she doesn't see any boy parts. My husband and I both started to cry. Now comes the fun of buying all the clothes and painting the baby's room! I can't wait! This was the best Christmas present ever! My little one is moving around more often now and I can feel her more and more everyday. So nice to be able to call her "her"! :-)
