Hi!!! my name is Erica Paige Allen I recently turned 19. I got married to my high school sweet heart Cody Glen Allen who is 21 on September 22, 2007 the best day of my life, until the baby gets here!!! We are very young, but we love each other very much and can't wait for our baby to get here.
This wasn't a planned pregnancy, it was a big surprise!!! Well sort of, i knew it was possible but i just didn't think it was going to happen. I started taking birth control right before Cody and i got married, and it made me so sick!!! So i just stopped taking it in January, and we tried natural family planning which is where you just avoid your fertile days but obviously it didn't work. I found out i was pregnant on February 19th i was 3 weeks and 5 days pregnant... so pretty early!!! Even though it's a surprise i couldn't possibly be happier!!!
We are having a baby BOY!!! Caden Glen Allen, we can't wait for him to get here!!!
12 weeks!!!
Yay 12 week mark, how exciting congratulations to all the other mommy to be's that are 12 weeks today!!! Very Very happy, what a huge step!!! I think it will go by a lot faster now!!! Only 6 1/2 more weeks till we find out the sex!!! I cannot wait!!!
13 weeks!!!
Oh my gosh can't believe im 13 weeks pregnant!!! Im so excited!!! Just 5 1/2 more weeks until we find out if it's Emmie or Caden in there!!! Can't wait to start shopping for baby stuff and register and get ready for the baby shower, by that time i will be a week away from being half way through the pregnancy!!! I can't wait for this little baby to get here, and im ready for another ultrasound, it's been 6 weeks since i've seen my baby, and i know that it has grown so much since then, if you go on youtube you can look at ultrasounds of babies at 13 weeks gestation and they look minature newborns, you can even see all the little bones in there fingers and everything!!! It really made me realize like wow this is actually happening, my baby is so much bigger and im past the scary part and into my second trimester and im just so excited and so happy, can't wait to hold this precious one in my arms and give it lots of kisses!!! Everyone is so ready to meet this new baby!!! Oh and everywhere i go everyone knows im pregnant now, it's obvious no matter what i wear, people are even sure enough to ask, and before no one would be cause of the slight chance i could just be chubby lol but now everyone asks about the baby, it's hard to believe im only 13 weeks with this belly!!!"

Oh my goodness, it's going by so fast now! Finally i have been feeling pretty good lately i have more energy and i actually feel like doing stuff now. Yesterday we had our twin nieces all day and we took them to the park and to eat at mc donald's and they had so much fun with us!!! They will be 4 next month, i think it's neat because they will be our baby's only 1st cousins until my brother and sisters have kids but that will be a long time(hopefully) because they are only 16, 15, and 9. I can't believe that in 2 weeks i will be 4 months pregnant!!! Only 3 1/2 weeks till we find out what we're having!!! EXCITED!!!
15 weeks!!!
Good news, our appointment got moved up a week so we will find out what we are having on May 29th!!! I'm so excited!!! I just called them today and told them that we will probably be moving that week, and the lady i work for, told me that she would really need me on that day if i could reschedule, well of course because i didn't want to find out any later, i asked if we could move it up a week and they said yes!!! I'm so anxious to find out if we will be having a little boy or girl, my husband got me a gift card to burlington coat factory which has an amazing selection of baby items swings, strollers, carseats, babybeds, and everything you could ever imagine, today i went and bought the baby a slumber bear, which plays the heartbeat that sounds like the mothers womb I love it!!! and i got a picnic table for outside, which the baby wont be able to use for a little while, but i keep kids and it will be nice to have even before the baby is old enough for it!!! But im saving the rest for when we find out what we're having so i can go buy some of my favorite outfits and blankies i've seen!!! Awww just ecstatic beyond words!!!
I think i'm about to have a nervous break down!!! I'm babysitting today, and i don't know what's wrong with me but these kids are driving me crazy!!! I have such a bad headache and have been feeling like i was going to puke all day i've been forcing myself to eat Ramen noodles, it's ridiculous.
16 weeks!!!
Yay another week down, and only 2 TO GO TILL WE FIND OUT WHAT WERE HAVING!!!
I'm trying to think of ways to make these two weeks go by faster!!! Saturday is my friend's baby shower!!! My mom and i got her high chair for her. And sunday were supposed to have a cook out at my parent's, so that should help. But i'm not working anymore so i can't afford gas to go anywhere and i will be stuck here every day next week, that's when the real boredom will set in and it will go by really slowly then!!! I just can't wait to find out what if we are going to have a little Emmie Grace or Caden Glen, i'm ready to call the baby by it's name, and pick out it's little clothes and stuff for it's nursery. Hopefully we will be closing on our house in a couple weeks and we can start working on the nursery soon, i'm really looking forward to it!!! I'm really excited about having our own house and getting out of this apartment, i think our dog will be happier too, he LOVES playing outside!!! And we will live right behind a little nature park that has a pond with ducks we can go feed it's really nice there. I'm so ready for my baby to be here, in just 24 weeks, i will be a mommy!!!
18 weeks 2 days
My due date got moved up 2 days lol so i'm actually 18weeks and 2days today!!! We had our u/s and found out that we are having a baby BOY!!! We are ecstatic!!! I never knew that i could be this excited. When i saw him on the screen, i was just so ready for him to get here and to hold him and give him lots of kisses he is so precious and perfect and we love him so much already his name is CADEN GLYNN ALLEN!!!
20 weeks and 3 days
Yay so glad to be half way through!!! I just hope this next 20 weeks goes by as fast as the first 20 did i'm so ready for him to get here i want to hold him and cuddle him so bad!!! We are moving into our new house and i have started putting clothes that we have gotten him in his closet it's so exciting!!! We will probably start decorating his room in a month or two and i can't wait!!! I love feeling him move it's the most awesome feeling, sometimes he moves a lot and other days he barely moves at all and i get freaked out, but i have a doppler and i listen to his heartbeat if i'm ever worried, i'm a little paranoid with this being my first baby and all hopefully with my next i'll be a little more relaxed!

I personally havent had a probelm with my blood pressure, but friend of mine in the Uk had her baby last Thursday and she had major problems with it... just be careful as they wouldnt let her have a natural birth because of her high blood pressure, and she was in hospital for 6 days after baby was born to calm her blood pressure down.... I really dont want to make you worry unnecesarily, just be careful and make sure that you look after yourself! GOOD LUCK!
