Welcome to my page! My husband and I are expecting our first child, a son named Daniel Wyatt on May 13th. We are thrilled! God has blessed us in so many ways:)

I continue to get bigger and bigger!! Wyatt has been an active little guy this whole pregnancy. I'm anticipating the same thing when he comes out! We are so excited to have him here...it gets tougher and tougher to wait. We just want to see his little face and know that he's healthy!

We found out in December that our little one is a BOY!!! We are so happy that our baby is healthy and moving around! He seems to be `exploring ` his cozy little home a lot! I love feeling him when I am falling asleep. It `s so reassusing to know he `s there. Hope you are all doing well. Good luck to all you ladies!!

Well, little Wyatt has been moving like crazy! He is starting to keep me up at night which is getting quite difficult since I teach every day. The kids at work keep me moving and my son keeps me up! What gives? Ha, ha...actually it `s the best feeling in the world and I would rather him move too much than not feel him at all. I actually start to panic when it `s been a few hours with no movement. Guess I `ve already become protective;) Other than that, things are GREAT! I just can `t wait for May to get here!!

I am getting more an more paranoid...call me crazy but my baby has been such a mover the past two months that when i don `t feel him for 12 hours I get really worried! Other than continuing to be tired, I have felt really good! I feel so lucky not to go through some of the things that my other pregnant friends are going through. This child is such a blessing to me and my husband. We are literally counting the days until he comes!

We had another sonogram today at 27 weeks. He is looking good! The measurements put me about a week ahead of schedule, although my doctor isn `t going to change the due date. We saw a great view of his cute little face! He was moving his mouth and looking right at us. SO AMAZING!!! We are truly blessed and count down the days until our little miracle arrives.

We had another sonogram last Thursday- at 27 weeks- and my boy is already the size of a normal 29 week old!! maybe he `ll come early or maybe he `ll just be BIG!!! i hope the first is true:)

Monday, 3 Mar

I have been really sick with the virus going around. Teaching doesn `t help because the kids are all sick too! Hopefully I `ll start feeling better. Other than that Wyatt has been moving around alot still. Today I looked down at my belly and it was totally lopsided!!!

I `m getting so anxious! It `s really difficult for me to think that I have ten weeks left before he comes. I `m just ready for Wyatt to be here and to get to start being a mom. There are many posts about moms who miss having the baby inside, but I truly think I `m the opposite. Pregnancy has not been great for me, easy, but I haven `t just thoroughly enjoyed it. Having my son in my arms I feel will be so much more rewarding. Anyway, that `s my update for the day.

well, we are certainly moving right along! i am very excited and anticipate meeting wyatt more and more. my sister is throwing me a shower in about 4 weeks and i am really ready to stock the nursery. that `s about the only thing we have left to prepare for his arrival. i feel like the luckiest mom and wife to have one awesome husband at home and another little guy on the way! God has blessed me ten-fold and I am so very grateful.

now in week 33:) i am so dang excited and anxious to meet my son! everyone keeps telling me how overwhelming having a baby is and i know it `s going to be so much work, but i am so excited!!! i am very lucky to have my parents and sister and brother-in-law around to help out too. my husband is going to be an excellent father. i guess i `m a little naive but not nearly as overwhlemed as everyone is telling me i need to be! anyway, my shower is in 3 weeks and i think once that comes i `ll feel totally ready:) good luck to all!

week 34!!! YEA! wyatt continues to be active only now i can tell he `s right against me. he `s definitely run out of room to swim around in there. dr. appt. yesterday went well. i go back in two weeks and then start weekly appts. after that!

Yes they are just going to let him come on out :) if hes ready at this point! Im 36 weeks this week...omg i know this is gross but i have to go to the bathroom alot more than usual ( #2) lol does that mean anything? Anyways the midwife said he was 7lbs!!! I FREAKED out...im happy he is healthy but i have gone from thinking im going to have a small baby to having large one! what did the Dr. say whenever you went in for your appt

OMG..so much has happend! I had to go to the hospital because i was having BAD back pain and period like pains in my belly..i told my husband and we went...the midwife said i was 70% effaced and she gave me some medication that my contractions down ( i was having contractions every 2-5 min)! Anyways everytime i take the meds i feel like im going have a heart attack! How are things going with you?? Is you back feeling better?? Mine hurts SOOO bad to i use a heating pad...lol they gave me a shot of morphine when i was at the hospital and it helped ALOT but they only gave me meds for the contractions to take home so im stuck in pain lol :(

Yea.. I wish I would have had my shower already because I feel so unprepared. You know? I hope I can make it another 5 weeks, but my back hurts so bad I can barely walk. Luckily, I don't have to be on my feet most of the bad, but it's still uncomfortable.

I went to the doc today for my 2 week check and I ask the nurse, cause I forgot to ask my doc about it, what it was she said it's probally the baby's movement or short spasms ( whatever that is) and as long as I'm not bleeding I shouldn't be worried. hope she's right. . .

I was originally going to try to work until the end, but since I have a large ovarian cyst that is getting in the way a bit, my dr told me to stop after April 18 (I'm due May 15) so about a month before. Good luck to you though, working that long!!!

I was reading the comments this morning and thought I would share with you what I do when my little guy is in my rib cage to the point of horrible pain. A good friend told me that if you put an ice cold can of pop on the location your little one is bound to move. It works great! Once that coolness reached him he found a new place to hang out. Hope this helps.

lol... I read your comment on the week 33 board. I sometimes wonder if my child is doing chin-ups on my rib cage. lol It's interesting for me, because my first wasn't in my rib cage this much. And yes... It's worse after lying down for a while. :-) This too will pass. :-)

yeah whenever he moves it does feel like a roller ball! Well he feels hevy my my stomach is still somewhat tiny for 8 months....the Dr. said it doesnt really matter how big the belly is all the time. YEah they measured me again last appointment and said everything was on track, but they measure by CM and weeks along..so i think its just an average measurement of the baby. ... Yeah whenever he moves now its MUCH more strong. Sometimes his little butt pops up and it makes my belly look really lumpy!! Or he kicks and the side of my stomach pushes to one side! Im so excited...I am getting closer and every week now is like a count down!

i'm feeling and doing great as well!! a little achey in the belly sometimes now but it's def stretched to unholy limits! haha hopefully he comes a little early i guess 37 weeks is considered term. i am routing for that hehe. i'm so ready his little room is all ready to go now I just need my little bundle of JOY!!! Yeah he just didnt like Baylor because i dont think he was ready to grow up and that school is Somewhat strict ( according to him) Do you ever go to Houston? I used to live in the Galleria area....anyways has the Dr Measured ur belly to see how big the baby is yet??

My brother went to Baylor..he didnt really like it tho so he moved here and went to GA southern. YEah its HARD To move somewhere without knowing anyone and on top of that being preggo...lol no one really wants to make new friends with a preggo its sucks!

I measured big with my first two pregnancies, and they were 8'7 and 7'7. I went three days and 7 days PAST my due date. I don't know, I guess the baby will come when he's ready. :)

That is normal. Sometimes they will measure bigger because they are bigger. Nothing to worry about

I weighed 10.1 when I was born, and my hubby weighed in at 9 pounds. the weights of our kids are not that big (thank god) my first born was 8lbs 3 oz, and I measured small with her throughout my whole pregnancy. My second weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz (she was a couple weeks early...also thank god) and I measured big with her all throughout the pregnancy, so much so they moved up my due date. With this one, I have measured some times big sometimes small, but I have learned that those measurments mean very little. I am not very big so I looked huge with ever pregnancy. Probably doesn't help, but even the ultrasound measurments can be very wrong, a friend of mine had a c-section because they said her baby was over 10 pounds. He was born at 8 pounds even. She still has not gotten over it. Another friend was told her baby only weighed 6 1/2 pounds on ultrasound and she was born at 8 1/2 pounds!

I don't know if I measured big with my daughter, but she was born 2 weeks early. This baby I'm carrying now is measuring 2 weeks ahead, so I'm hopeful! Good luck to you.

thanks for your reply...ive gotten that feeling in the shower also. i thought i overheated myself, so i didnt thnk about food. but it wasn't morning either time i dont think...but it could have been when i was hungry. thanks agian, it was helpful!

lol i bet you ARE excited about spring break..you need to rest!! I moved down here to be with my hubby about a year ago, then i got preggo and we moved, so i dont really know that many people, so we have just been receiving gifts from people here and there...instead of having a shower...I am from Houston, TX so it would be nice to go and have a shower there, but it would end up being really expensive and we ( I ) just decided to stay here :( Its GREAT to be at the end of the pregnancy, but i cant tell if the time is going by slower or faster now? what do u think?

YEah i feel like i did in the first trimester...except worse lol. my back hurts so bad and i was having really bad braxton hicks contractions last night..i thought i might be going into prelabor but i guess it was just a false alarm. Are you still working or have you taken time off yet?

We have used like a lime green a light and dark blue color mixed and some brown for his room...lol i know it sounds little crazy but it came out looking cute! I dont know if i am in the ' nesting' phase, but i feel like im not going to have everything when he comes...even if i do have everything i think im going to feel like i am missing something. Do you know what im talking about?!?!
