Welcome to my page! My husband and I had our first child on April 30th...2 weeks early! Read my blog about the delivery if you want a real scare! We are so incredibly blessed to have myself and our son alive and well. It was a very scary situation.
We found out in December that our little one is a BOY!!! We are so happy that our baby is healthy and moving around! He seems to be `exploring ` his cozy little home a lot! I love feeling him when I am falling asleep. It `s so reassusing to know he `s there. Hope you are all doing well. Good luck to all you ladies!!Tuesday, 5 Feb
Well, little Wyatt has been moving like crazy! He is starting to keep me up at night which is getting quite difficult since I teach every day. The kids at work keep me moving and my son keeps me up! What gives? Ha, ha...actually it `s the best feeling in the world and I would rather him move too much than not feel him at all. I actually start to panic when it `s been a few hours with no movement. Guess I `ve already become protective;) Other than that, things are GREAT! I am getting more an more paranoid...call me crazy but my baby has been such a mover the past two months that when i don `t feel him for 12 hours I get really worried! Other than continuing to be tired, I have felt really good! I feel so lucky not to go through some of the things that my other pregnant friends are going through. This child is such a blessing to me and my husband. We are literally counting the days until he comes!Friday, 15 Feb
We had another sonogram today at 27 weeks. He is looking good! The measurements put me about a week ahead of schedule, although my doctor isn `t going to change the due date. We saw a great view of his cute little face! He was moving his mouth and looking right at us. SO AMAZING!!! We are truly blessed and count down the days until our little miracle arrives.Thursday, 21 Feb

I have been really sick with the virus going around. Teaching doesn `t help because the kids are all sick too! Hopefully I `ll start feeling better. Other than that Wyatt has been moving around alot still. Today I looked down at my belly and it was totally lopsided!!!Friday, 7 Mar
I `m getting so anxious! It `s really difficult for me to think that I have ten weeks left before he comes. I `m just ready for Wyatt to be here and to get to start being a mom. There are many posts about moms who miss having the baby inside, but I truly think I `m the opposite. Pregnancy has not been great for me, easy, but I haven `t just thoroughly enjoyed it. Having my son in my arms I feel will be so much more rewarding. Anyway, that `s my update for the day.Wednesday, 12 Mar
well, we are certainly moving right along! i am very excited and anticipate meeting wyatt more and more. my sister is throwing me a shower in about 4 weeks and i am really ready to stock the nursery. that `s about the only thing we have left to prepare for his arrival. i feel like the luckiest mom and wife to have one awesome husband at home and another little guy on the way! God has blessed me ten-fold and I am so very grateful.Tuesday, 18 Mar

now in week 33:) i am so dang excited and anxious to meet my son! everyone keeps telling me how overwhelming having a baby is and i know it `s going to be so much work, but i am so excited!!! i am very lucky to have my parents and sister and brother-in-law around to help out too. my husband is going to be an excellent father. i guess i `m a little naive but not nearly as overwhlemed as everyone is telling me i need to be! anyway, my shower is in 3 weeks and i think once that comes i `ll feel totally ready:) good luck to all!Tuesday, 1 Apr

No $2500! It's a 10x13, but it's matted to a 16x20. His name is Michael Wooten, and we are in Alabama. I am not sure if he has a website. His work is unreal. He does those oil paintings too, and OMG they look soooo real it's crazy! I would take a pic of the drawing and send it to you, however my 4 year old dropped my camera and it broke!

Thank you. I actually feel better now. I'm sure it helps that she finally screamed herself to sleep. Poor baby. I can't help feeling inadequate when I can't seem to do anything but let her cry herself to sleep.

Hiya, you did have quite an ordeal before and when he was born. Are you still on the blood thiners at the moment! Someone was looking out for you both! It took us about a year to get pregnant but I think that I will wait until Finlay is one before i come off the pill again. Rob may get deployed next year for 4 - 8 months so i don't think that I could handle a newborn and a toddler on my own. We will see. Hope you have a good day!kx

Hiya, I look forward to seeing the pics. My friend has just started her son on solids and he pulls the funniest faces! Yes they do grow so quickly - I visted a friend in maternity yesterday and couldn't believe that Fin was as little as that once! i was scared that I would break her lil one! Fin was 5.36kg at 10 weeks (I think that is nearly 12 pounds). He gets weighed when he get shis 4 month shots next week so we will see how he is going then. He isn't a chubby baby - he is long though! Wyatt has been powering on!!! Are you getting broody for another one yet?Kx

Hiya, how excitig to be starting solids - it is another big milestone. I am going to start Fin on rice at 4 months too. He seems to be getting much hungrier the past few days too! I keep thinking, you can't be hungry, you ate like 2 hours ago and then he guzzles the whole bottle!! He is still a bit whingey today but hasn't spit up so much which is good! How much does Wyatt weigh now? Hope that you have a good day and good luck with the solids - I bet that he will pull some funny faces!

Finlay has been a shocker today too - uncontrollabe screaming then when I try and feed him he coughs and splutters cos he is in such a state - he obviously is really hungry cos once he calms down he takes the bottle. I'm not used to this - he usually is so contented. Have you started your lil man on solids? Finlay is 4 months in 2 weeks but am still undecided, but if he keeps this up I might need to! Hope you have a better day tomorrow with Wyatt? Iolx

LOL i know, i got her 3-6months clothes. she is 3 months and just outgrew her newborn clothes. so i am thinking by the time her "winter" clothes fit it will actually be somewhat chilly. i am just a sucker for baby clothes!!!

My baby was born on the 22nd of April. We started her on rice cereal with the ok of the pediatrician last weekend. We give her about a tablespoon or two. We make the cereal pretty runny, but she eats it from a spoon. My doctor said NOT to put cereal in a bottle - everything I read was pretty consistent with that.
She's still struggling a little with swallowing (mooshes a lot back out) but getting better!

I just picked up another bottle of the teething tablets at Kmart for only $5! I hope our poor babies aren't in too much more pain as we wait for these teeth. Ugh!! Thanks for letting me know it'll probably be a while!
