Hi, welcome to my page! We are a family of three (soon to be four) living a little outside of San Diego, CA...aka, Escondido. I was born and raised here while my husband was born in Mexico, then grew up in San Jose, CA. We have a little girl, Jessica ("JJ" - we started that when she was just born, and it stuck) who will be two in January. We also have one on board who is due in June of 2008. So far things are looking pretty good, we are hoping and praying all goes well in this pregnancy.

Sorry it took so long, everyone, but I finally updated and added a few recent photos! I have been real busy spending time with my brother and his family, and my brother in law came home to visit on leave from Iraq!! Pray for him as he goes back on the 18th. I have my surgery sceduled to have my tubes tied on July 11th, so remember me also, and pray for a sppedy recovery. I hope everyone is doing well! Hugs!!

Ok... You haven't been online in 3 days now... I will take this as a good sign??? It was hard for me at the end, all the waiting. Not much fun at all going overdue. Hopefully by the time you get this you'll be able to tell me about your new bundle of joy!
I'm not sure how I am going to handle seeing Eliza. next week. I really pray it helps bring healing to me. It's been a rough road, and I feel like a piece of me is missing. I know I felt better after talking to the adoptive Mom. Seeing my sweet little angel should bring me peace, to see that she's growing and thriving well in her new home. And yes, the adoptive family is terrific! I know God led me to them. Things fell into place so beautifully!

Sorry I haven't written, hun. Just haven't really been on this site very much, now that I'm not pregnant.
Elizabeth was born May 21, at 10:50pm. She was 8lbs 9oz. Very beautiful and healthy! I spent some time with her in the hospital before she was relinquished to her adoptive parents.
It's been a rough road for my whole family, but we are pulling together to get through it. We just look forward to our visits with our sweet little Eliza!

Ha ha ha - you are gonna wax??!! Ha ha -- Mine looked like I had a pet cat curled up on my lap after birth! I didn't even care. It had been months since I could even see down there.

they are giving me NOTHING. no insurance, no paid leave. i make barely enough to live off of, and i work really hard. even working for them i manage to qualify for food stamps and wellfare, and today the wellfare office called and said they needed proof that i was no longer working....so when i called my employer to write a letter as proof, they got really defensive, like i was trying to get unemployment from them or something. my biggest is fear is not being able to find a job IF i do want to go back to work. we'll see! thanks for the advice! xoxoxo

Oh! well I am so happy for you. How is the pregancy going? Man, that last month about killed me! Oh god the swelling and weight gain. Have you started feeling that way? How much weight have you gained so far?

Sorry I haven't written in so long. I've been really scatterbrained! I am now 8 days overdue... They did a contraction stress test and ultrasound on me today. Baby seems to be faring well! Heartrate stayed even during contractions, and there's plenty of fluid surrounding baby. So, they're leaving it in to "cook" a few more days. They're talking about inducing Wednesday!! FINALLY! I'm getting answers!!!!
Even though I've given birth 4 times, I'm nervous about upcoming labor, too. My other labors went fairly quick, though, so I probably don't have anything to fear!
Are you going natural if you can, or using paid meds or epidural? I'm going to take whatever they can feed me though my IV! LOL!

Hey hun!! I hope you had a wonderful Happy Mother's Day!
Things are going well considering I am now overdue. :) I'm having the typical pains and feelings of heaviness, but otherwise am hanging in!
How have all your late pregnancy testing gone? I ended up with gestational diabetes and am group B strep positive. The diabetes is pretty much under control with diet, and I just pray I make it to hospital in time for antibiotics! My previous labors have all gone quickly. I tried to talk my doc into inducing to assure I get the full dose of antibiotic, but he said no... Sigh
