HI ALL, Im mommymelmel, I am 22 years old and my hubby is 28 years old. I am an RT and he is an office manager. I am pregnant with my and our 1st BABY and its a BOY! My hubby and I have been married for 3 years and together for nearly 6 years and we are still head over heels. We are so excited for our little addition!

We started trying in Sept and it wasnt long until we finally got what we wanted in December (on christmas eve to be exact) We got prego!!

We found out on January 4th, it was really really early I was only a few weeks but I had severe tummy pains for 2 days. I went to our local urgent care and waited for lots of test results, we thought I might have appendicitis. Well after an hour in the little room the nurse comes in and says "the doctor is gone but your pregnant and we need an ultrasound right now it might be tubal" I called my hubby and said I was prego, He said "I know" He claims to know everything. We ran to U/S but there was to much fluid they couldnt even see my organs so they ran me up to their OB and he couldnt see anything either so I went to my OB. Well he couldnt see anything but fluid so I went in 2 days later to get my quant HCG to make sure it was doubling. Sure enough it was, woo hoo. We had appointements every few days. They finally determined it was an internal bleed. After 2 weeks of it not stopping we were talking surgery then it finally stopped and we kept going to our appointments making sure it was absorbing for a few weeks. It finally did and they saw our little one right where he should be. My hubby was so excited he emailed every one and said

"We have a baby!! in all the right places!!"

Well We finally got our 4D scan on May 14th it was the perfect mothers day present and here he is!! Look at all that hair! We were so excited I was crying Im so glad the tech took her time to get his face!

To make the experience even better he started yawning and sticking out his tongue!

May 30th ~WOW that was so scary! I started having leaking and cramping so I called the nurses they said to go in so I did. I was actually having contractions so they gave me Terbutaline to relax my smooth muscles. It made me feel like my heart was about to pound out of my chest and all shaky. Well the first dose didnt help so they gave me another and the contractions tapered off, they also checked to see if I was leaking amniotic fluid, luckily I wasnt so they sent me home. The good news the baby is really strong for only 25 weeks they had a great heartbeat the whole time. Now every time I get a cramp or something Im freaking out that its starting again.

I went to the doc and he put me on Oral Terbutaline so that when the contractions start I give myself a dose and its supposed to take care of them. Its nice to have the medicine at home so I dont have to go into the hospital each time. Doing good ever since, I get some each day but the doc says he has had some women who will have contractions from week 24-28 and then they will stop until they go into labor. Hoping they stop soon!

July 12th~So it was a long long day! I got off work on Wednesday and started having contractions, took my terbutaline and they stopped. Well Thursday morning I woke up with terrible cramping and back pain so I went to the hospital. Once we got there they hooked me up to the moniters and we found contractions a minute and a half apart which is why it felt so different from the contractions I was used to because there was no break in between them. Well They gave me terbutaline and they didnt stop, so another dose of terbutaline and again nothing. I was dilated to a one well they did a FFN test and it was negative so the chances of me delivering in the next two weeks is like 1% which is good. We got another shot of terbutaline and they slowed I also got morphine wooohooo that made it a little better. We finally got released like 9 hours later on bedrest. It was so scary.

July 16th~Went to the doctor today, still on bedrest, BLAH! I am so bored. Baby is good he is 3 pounds 9oz! Back to the doc next monday!

July 21st~I just got my sling in the mail and Im totally impressed this fabric is so cute and the inside fabric in this sling is so so soft Im so excited to put my little guy in here!! I love it!!

August 2nd~Another appointment and...are you ready.....Im off bedrest but on take it easy, like use a wheelchair at the store easy but I'll take whatever I can get! WOOHOO he's 4lb 12oz already. Thinned 75%, dilated to a 1 and he has dropped so it wont be much longer~~

August 19th~Went to the hospital and Carson was born August 20th 105 AM

September 20th~ Carson is really fussy, after much debate we decided to give him a binki. He was so confused he looked at me like what the heck! Then we gave him his first botle, 1oz after nursing, again he was really confused, I think we will try a different nipple.

September 21st~ Well Carson has been really fussy and congested so I made a doctors appointment. He has an ear infection so we have him on antibiotics. The congestion is so bad we had a suction machine delivered to keep him cleaned out. He also has a humidifier, I feel like Im at work LOL...but really it makes me sad :(
