Wow!!! Five days until the 20th!!!!

I started back to work on the 12th. I took Wednesday's off. I am just trying to get back in the swing of things!!!

Yes. We are still going back and forth on the dates. it will either be the 22nd or the 25th. My specialist wants to see them out on the 22nd. We are trying to switch OR times, but it is in the hands of another Mom scheduled that day. I doubt she will switch with me????
I am feeling miserable now. I am sooo swollen. I am sleeping 2-3 hours per night, and the carpal tunnel in my right hand keeps getting worse. I keep thinking of how the end is near!!

Just the swelling pretty much has quadrupled overnight!
My feet are really bad. My specialist said my left side of my abdomen has severe edema. My stomach is slanted with more fluid on the left. HE said I must be sleeping more on my left..and I am! I tried to sleep on my right side last night. He showed us on US the fluid under my skin. Quite disturbing! Even more disturbing I was measured at 48 weeks yesterday. Can I expand anymore??? Still my weight gain to date as of yesterday is 10 pounds so far. My babies weigh 5 pounds 1 oz and 4 pounds 5 ounces.
I am excited to see how your shower goes. Then you will really see your nursery coming together!!

I just need to get the last things for the nursery. I am off work today with the two Dr's appt.s I have so I will try and get to posting some pics. How is your nursery coming along? I am feeling pretty good...getting closer!!
I saw my OB today. She informed me she will be out from 4/4 to 4/21. So..I am going after that or someone else will do the delivery.
My specialist said he would like them out between the 11th and 18th. My DH does not want to wait until my OB gets back because he is so inpatient!!! I am just anxious to set a date!!!!!

Yes...I had two great shower's. I received TONS of clothes. I think the girl's are set until middle school!! Now all I have to do is get the necessities that I did not receive at my shower! Time is catching up with me. I do not know how I will fit it all in! That is great about your furniture. What color did you go with? We still do not have our dressers!!!!

LOVE the sports theme! I like the colors you picked too!! The nursey is still in the same place it was in January. My DH gets on a roll and then gets side-tracked! I need to get pics up. My showers are March 8th and 9th. It is starting to go by faster now. I am seeing the OB and specialist every other week. Time is flying by!

Wow!!! It sounds like you have been a busy bee!!! What theme did you decide on? When is your shower? It is crazy how it now seems so close. I should have my c-section date soon. They are shooting for the middle of April! I am going to try my best to get some nursery pics up this weekend. My back and right upper abdomen are killing me at this point!!! I am feeling good. My liver enzymes are finally decreasing! We have not bought anymore furniture yet! My DH and I are going back and forth on whether to put a day bed or futon in the room with the cribs. I do not want to be going up and down the stairs all night long. I figure that until they sleep through the night I will sleep in their room. We still need to get dressers. It looks like my shower will be March 9th. You still have time for a theme. I was going to do green and brown or blue and brown for a boy. My 4D US will be on Friday, so I will let you know how it goes! How are you feeling? xxxAmyxxx

Well..my husband did not have friends, but laborers over to paint. They have been working for my DH and his family for years and are really hard workers. It is well worth the money.
My OB deliver's twins between 32 and 36 weeks. I want to hold out until 37 weeks which is full term for twins, but I do not know if my OB will go for that. That puts me delivering April 11th (36) or April 18th (37). I was going to be a c-section regardless of having one or two, so I know that is settled. It will be exciting to go shopping for the nursery with your friends. We still have to go find furniture. We bought Harrison adult size dressers so he can have them for a long time. We offered to get him new ones and let the babies have his and he said he had too many good memories with his furniture and wanted to keep it... whatever that means. Hope you had a good Monday. I am home from the Hospital. I think there is such thing as too much rest!!! I go back to the GI Dr Wednesday and have an US scheduled for Thursday. I am finally feeling movement off and on....nothing constant. I can't believe that they are OK after all my coughing I am doing. I feel like I am coughing up a lung! My DH got on a painting kick this weekend and we had guys over here all day painting. They painted the hallway upstairs, down the stairs, foyer, and sitting room. We also went home decor shopping to match the new walls. Our new carpet arrives Wednesday and then we can start putting the girl's room together.
I say I am taking two weeks off, but I will just see. It really depends on how long the girl's are in the Hospital. Hopefully, they will not have to go to the NICU at all, but they will be delivered a month early, so we will see how everything goes. Let me know how your OB appt. goes? How has your New Year been so far?

Girls....I just got home from the Hospital. I am exhausted, but glad to be home. We still do not know what is wrong..my liver enzymes still continue to rise. I have to see the GI Dr again Friday for another work-up. Hopefully we will know soon. My GI Dr told me in the Hospital that liver enzymes that continue to rise leads to early delivery of the babies and mine are no way near ready. So... just keep praying that my levels turn around. I will write more individual e-mails tomorrow. Sorry about the bulk e-mail. Luv Ya'll, xxxAmyxxx

Hey Girl....sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I am in the Hospital. I've been sick since the 27th with flu-like symptoms. I was admitted for dehyration. I was hoping to get out today, but now my liver enzymes are up so I am waiting for US to come get me for ans US of my abdomen and then I have to get a consult from a GI Dr. I hope to be leaving tonight. We were supposed to go to a party to and I was so excited! I hope you had fun at yours. I plan on going back to work bit by bit two weeks after delivery. It just depends on the babies health. I think my MIL will watch the girl's, but I will probably be 4 days as well. My Mom has Parkinson's, so is limited on how much she can do. You are sooo lucky to have your Mom to help. I can't see my MIL watching two everyday for long. I think it will get overwhelming to her. We will have to take it one day at a time. Hope your New Year's was grand!!

Congrat's on the half-way marker! My next OB appt is the 31st. My next scan is the 10th. I guess me and the DH will register after the first of the year. We have both bedding sets.
Our carpet has been measured....did I tell you DH had a spill in the girl's room with the paint and now $2,000 later we have to replace the carpet in the bedrooms upstairs and down the stairs!!! Major reconstruction zone!!! I am glad you had a great Christmas and everyone came to you!! We went everywhere....next year will be different. My DH is sick right now and now I am beginning to cough, so I hope I do not get what he has!!! It is some nasty stuff!!! Are you planning on staying home after you have the baby or are you going back to work? Do you have any big New Year's plans or are you laying low? Happy New Year's to you and your family!!

We are in the same boat. My DH oversprayed on the carpet when he was painting the girls room (the TINY bit that was not covered up). So we are re-carpeting three rooms and the stairs. Thank goodness that is the only carpet in the house. I can't imagine if we had to do the whole house! We will do that right after the new year. It must be fantastic to have a basement for extra room. We do not have those down here. My in-laws bought us cherry cribs for X-Mas. Harrison's bed was Oak, but the bedding I bought is brown and pink and really looks best with cherry. If you go to beyond- bedding.com and click on crib bedding my set is called Abby Rose.
I love the name Hayden. My nephew who just turned one is named, Hayden Jeffrey.
We had Kennedy Grace picked out for a girl even with my last pregnancy. It was just tricky picking out the second name. I wanted different initials, but my DH picked out the name and spelling of #2. So, I guess it is K's all around. They are not family names. I had tons of boys names. I liked Barron, Hudson, and Sutton for boys names. I go to the OB tomorrow. I haven't been since week 12. She let me skip the 16 week appt. I have to do the blood gluscose test in January. Do you have to do one of those? I am off until after Christmas. Yeah!!!

So, I take it you are having a boy!!! I did not know. Maybe you wrote me when all of the messages were erased and I did not see it!! Congrat's!! You and hubby must be soo excited. Any names yet? What are you thinking about for the nursery? I am not as organiized as you for Christmas. I still have a lot to do! My husband has been full force on the nursery and I have been telling him to slow down until after X-Mas!! Our cribs come in Sunday. My hubby had overspray while painting so we now have to rip up the carpet upstairs and down the stairs. We will replace it after Christmas and then I can start setting up the nursery. I am doing pink and brown. I've bought one of the bedding sets so far. We've decided on the names...Kennedy Grace and Karsyn McKinley. I am glad you are feeling so good!! I am feeling good except for my back pain. It comes and goes, like 'episodes of pain'. My DH bought me a back-belly pillow to help me sleep better. I wil try to put another US video up later!! Well, my OB does not do scans unless there is a problem. Even though I am high risk..it is only due to my age. My chromosomal problem with my last pregnancy does not put me at high risk since it is not a genetic problem. I have no problems carrying babies once I am PG. The only reason I am having an early scan is because my specialist has to do my nuchal scan @ 12 weeks. I think I am 5 days off my due date due to my longer cycle. I did not want to go to the specialist only to be sent away and have to come back a week later like last time. So my scan next week is only to confirm my dates. I made my 1st OB appt @ 8 weeks on purpose. It makes it go by faster. I had plenty of pre-natals, so I saw no need to go before 8 weeks. I knew my first scan would be at 12 weeks. This pregnancy is flying by compared to my last one. I think the Holidays will help it go by even faster. I am not worried about my scan next week because when I was early last (10 weeks) my baby was fine...no problems at all. Two weeks later at the 12 week scan was when all the problems were found and I found out the problems were fatal. I am dreading the 12 week scan. I wish they could just knock me out for it. My last pregnancy took all the joys out of US's for me. I do not know how I am going to look at this scan and not see my other baby who did not make it. He was soooo active. Never stayed still!! It will be so hard. I hate that I can't look forward to it or enjoy it!!!! OK...so much for being sorry for myself...I need to get over it and concentrate on this baby and believe that it is a healthy little one!! How are you feeling? I am finally feeling sick and food does not sound good to me. FINALLY!!!
Are you going to find out the gender when the time comes or will it be a surprise? Hope you are having a great week!! xxxAmyxxx

I'm back!!! I did not get a delivery date until I have my scan on 10-11 to see where I am. I had the usual blood tests and cultures. Soooo, I guess I will not know anything else until the 11th!! I hope it flys by!!! xxxAmyxxx
