Welcome to my page! I am married to my college sweetheart, Tim, and we live in Middle Tennessee. We got pregnant with Jordan in June 2005, only 7 months after we got married. He blessed our lives when he came 3 weeks early on 02/09/06. In September 2006, we got pregnant again...this time with monoamniotic twin boys. If you are curious what that means: (http://malpracticedepositions.com/monoamniotic_twins_2.htm) They passed away on 01/04/07 (Brady 17w4d) and 01/13/07 (Connor 18w6d) related to cord accidents. They were delivered after a very long induction process on 01/15/07. After what seemed like forever, we finally got pregnant in November 2007. We got the positive pregnancy test on 12/09/07. Scary thing is, at the 6 weeks ultrasound, it was found my body tried to make monoamniotic twins, AGAIN. Ask any perinatologist...that just doesn't happen! Thankfully for our sanity, only one baby actually developed and is perfectly healthy!!! We found out on March 25th that we are having another little boy. His name is Evan and he looked very healthy! On May 12, 2008, I started having contractions at work. I was 25w4d at that point. I went into the hospital where they checked me out, gave me a fetal fibronection test (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fetal_fibronectin), which was positive, and sent me home a few hours later. The next day, I was put on bedrest. I have had 3 fetal fibronectin tests since then and they have all been negative, THANK GOD! So, many weeks later, I sit, wait, and worry. Oh, and chase around my beautiful 2 year old all day!

Amanda26 - Monday, 14 July Oh boy that is big. I think I'm going to talk to my doctor about another ultrasound. Since everything is going good they won't give me one. My sister and I have the same doctor. I would think he knows that I'm scared after seeing what happened to her. I just don't want to go through the same thing my sister has gone through. I know everyone is different but I'm really kind of scared about delivery now. The thing of it is delivery never really bothered me before. She had such a hard time and now I'm bothered by the whole birthing process. Do you know how much your husband weight at birth? How much did you weigh at birth?
Amanda26 - Wednesday, 9 July awwww sleeping so peacefully
RJsMommy - Wednesday, 9 July Awwww look at those cheeks. He is sooo adorable. My son is going to be a big boy too! Little chunky monkeys! =)
totaltrip - Wednesday, 9 July OMG! what are you going to do about the size!? what is the delivery plan then?
augustbump - Monday, 7 July We are going to get another scan in 3 weeks to see if he's flipped and how his growth is...and at that point they will give me my options...so we'll see...I hope to do it naturally...but I won't be upset if I have to have the c section....i figure as long as we are both healthy thats all I care about....I think he may have flipped today however...I am feeling weird things I havn't felt before...so we'll see...
augustbump - Monday, 7 July Yea, I will not have a c section just because of his weight. So now we just have to pray he quits being breach...big and breach they won't give me much of a choice lol. Thanks again for your responses.
Beeccii - Saturday, 5 July I know! Not fair. If they only knew-- If my husband was pregnant he would be stuck on the couch with his feet up in the air yelling for icecream--all day! Girls are tough.
mariah-mommy - Saturday, 5 July Ya I hope I will be able to take a shower cause its bad now I take like 3 showers a day lol.. I don't know why maybe because I feel like a fat pig. But thanks for the advice
Beeccii - Friday, 4 July Yuck! Sounds horrible! I still dont understand why men can't share the pregnancy/delivery load. Well, they say that the 3 months after you give birth is the 4th trimester. Hmm...I believe it.
augustbump - Thursday, 3 July Thanks for your response...No I don't have gestational diabetes...but I am 6'1"...and my family has a history of 10-14 lb babies all naturally no c section...so I just figured since its normal for my family, thats what I would be having...my grandmother was 14 lbs in 1923...all 6 of her children were around 12 lbs...and all of their children are between 10lbs and 14 lbs...The doctor didn't seem to think family history had anything to do with it, and acted like it was a huge deal...but the more I talk to people and my family it seems that its not that abnormal if it runs in the family. If he's more than 10 lbs in 4 weeks I'll opt for the c section...thanks for the encouragement about having the baby at 37 weeks...makes me feel ALOT better.
