My name is Lenci and I am 22 years old. My husband serves in the United States Marine Corps and this is our second child together. I adopted his daughter about a year ago. My son will be 3 in April. He is such a mess and makes life worth it. I have had a tough pregnancy so far with the morning sickness that I did not experience with my son. I find out in April what I am having and so excited about that!! I go to school online and like doing that a lot. We move around a lot so it is hard to make friends, so sites like this are very helpful.

Although I am only 13 weeks along, I feel like things are moving about smoothly. I have had a dreadful headache that won `t go away and I have three tests this week, so stressed is an understatement. I bought the baby `s first outfit, of course unisex since I am not sure of the sex yet. Mother intuition is beginning to tell me girl, but still not too sure. As long as my little angel is healthy, it can be whatever it wants!

So, I thought I had a cyst on my left ovary so I went in yesterday to the doc. First off, he wanted to make sure the baby had a heartbeat. That is fine, but the way he said it was scary. So, he brought out the doppler, no heartbeat, I am only 13 weeks. He looked scared. I said you cannot send me home without knowing if my baby is ok. So, he goes and gets the ultrasound machine. Yeah, I didn `t have to do a vaginal one!!! And my little one was all over the place...heartbeat 142. The little thing even waved to me! So, that was big relief. But wait, I am in here because I think I have a cyst. So, he wants me to go to the lab and urinate in a cup. Note: I have already been here for two hours. But before I go he tells me I could be having an ectopic pregnancy along with my normal one, I could have pelvic infammatory disease, or clamidia(sp??) I was like, ok...I just had my pap and everything was great, but ok. So he sends me to the lab to see if I have a UTI. Whatever. I go. They tell me to come back up and wait. So, 5pm I am waiting and they can `t find the dr. He LEFT. He told me to wait so we could discuss the appt. and he LEFT. So, the nurse tells me to wait, so I do. Finally about 5:45 she tells me the results are pending so to go home and they will call. Have they yet? NO and this was yesterday. I needed to get that off of my chest!

So, I am 14 weeks, 2 days! Wooohoo! Anyways, I just got back from taking my daughter to cheerleading practice. When I walked in one of the moms told me I was finally beginning to show. She said oh you are having a girl because your hips are spreading. Ummm.... I would love for this baby to be a girl, but gosh, can you really tell by spreading hips? I am only 102lbs as of right now, so I know every little pound I put on you can see...she has four girls, so maybe she can just tell? I am so anxious to find out the anticipation is killing me!Only six more weeks to go.

Oh goodness...Finally in March, yeah:) I find out in just a matter of weeks what I am having. I have had HORRIBLE back pain since Friday night. It hurt so bad I could not sleep. I have a dr. appt on Tuesday and plan on mentioning it first thing! It has been very painful. Other than that I have been cleaning house like crazy and dealing with a fighting seven and two year old. My seven year old is a tattle-tale and it can get oh so annoying! My two year old wants it all, he is such a male! I am glad I am about 15 weeks along and looking forward to that 20 weeks when I can say I am halfway there!!

Well, I went to my 15 week appt. today. It was very quick...I got weighed(gained 9lbs in the past two weeks!). The dr. found the heartbeat right away, she says it is in the 150 `s. She didn `t even give me time to hear it but did say that the baby was moving around. I did hear the `swooshing ` sound through the doppler. I did my blood test to check for down `s. Overall, it was a good appt.!
