36 WEEKS 6 DAYS- okay, i had another weekly ultrasound today, and they only estimated ivey’s weight at around 5 1/2 lbs... the perinatologist said he didn’t think i needed to have an emergency induction today, but that i should be induced within the next week (because of possible placental insufficiency). i went to see my OB right after, she put down that i could be scheduled for the 17th. sooooo then she sent me up front, they had the CRNP call the hospital to schedule it, and the next day they have wide open is the 21st. soo then i had to call the perinatologist back to see if the 21st is too far away, because he said ONE WEEK at the most. i’m waiting for him to call me back to let me know if the 21st is okay, or if im going to have to have an emergency induction sometime within the next week. ahhh wish me luck =)
**UPDATE** talked to receptionist at perinatologist office this afternoon and he still needs to talk to my obstetrician, but we are going to keep the april 21st induction date. i have a final OB appointment and a final ultrasound on the 16th. if anything changes, they will call me, and they will be sure to make sure that everything looks good on the 16th. if something changes, they will just have to have an emergency induction before the 21st.

16. "I Hope You Dance" Leanne Womack
17. "Umbrella" Rhianna
oh yeah, haha and we came up with a labor plan, and at the hosp they have little players for music, so i figured id try something soothing before the epidural. most likely i will be too busy in pain, but hey, it may help =)

35 WEEKS- okay, so we decided on "Ivey Morgan", but I have decided to change my mind. I still like "Ivey" and "Morgan", but I want something else... I just don’t know what. I need lists of names and ideas! Remember: it’s a girl, her last name is O’Neil, and we already have an Isabelle Lynn. I don’t want anything like Madison or anything common. Please, I would love to hear what you guys think!! When we decide on a name, we are going to keep it secret until her arrival =D who knows.. maybe i will stick with the name?? haha idkkkkkkk

34 WEEKS- we had an ultrasound yesterday and everything is looking good with Ivey- she’s moving good, breathing well, and she is weighing in at an estimated 4 lbs. 11oz. =) We ran some other errands yesterday, then went home and Donovan took a nap while I put together little mini photo albums of Ivey’s sonogram pictures... then at around 7 I started having contractions! They were coming every 3-5 minutes, but I thought they might go away, so I went out to dinner with Donovan (last night we didn’t have any kids- date night!). They got too bad, so we went home, I tried to get in the bath for relief, but they kept coming! Donovan finally made me call the doctor and the doctor told us to go into Labor and Delivery at the hospital. Donovan was so excited! He packed some movies and the laptop, camera, snacks, pajamas, he even had a little notebook with a pen counting the contractions. He was excited to see our baby girl! We got there and I was definately having regular contractions, but they decided to stop the labor because I’m only 34 weeks and even though she would come out fine, she’s only around 5lbs and she will be wont be completely full grown until 37 weeks. They want her to be at least 6 lbs! They also said I was severely dehydrated, ick! They gave me a set of shots to calm the contractions, an IV for the dehydration, and I’m on a few restrictions for the next 3 weeks. We got out of the hospital at like 1am, so we just decided to crash at mom’s house. Phew! What a night! Even though it was chaotic (and a little painful), Donovan and I definately got a chance to spend time together and really bond. Weird, huh? He was so supportive, right there with me.. I really couldn’t have chose a better person to be there with me. He said the sweetest things, was really qenuine, ahh! He definately reminded me why I want to spend the rest of my life with him. He was holding my hand when I needed, gave me space at the right times, said the right things at the right times! We got a chance to talk a little last night at the hospital, and we were talking about people who criticized the both of us when we first got together. I hope those people can see us now, because Donovan didn’t change me, and I didn’t change him, we just bring out the best qualities in each other- and it shows! Apparently there is no such thing as the perfect couple, but we are what a married couple should be. It’s hard explain but if ya know us you know us as a couple, and you know what im talkin about!! Anywho, lets hope Ivey comes right after the baby shower =D

32 WEEKS 3 DAYS- ok, so we have been in the 3rd trimester for about a month, and since ive been in this final trimester, ivey's head has been down & engaged ready for delivery (which = PRESSURE & PAIN). thats okay though, only a little bit to go, and i'm really looking forward to the baby shower which will be sometime in april =D i cant wait to see all my ladies! i will be putting new belly pics up soon. anyways, only a few braxton hicks which is okay, and last time i was checked, at 31 weeks, the cervix was thick & closed. i am having OB dr appts every 2 weeks, and sonograms every week. at 31 weeks ivey was about 3lbs 8 oz, so she should be between 4 and 5 lbs now. they will measure her growth next at the 34 week sonogram. morning sickness has returned with a vengence, but all in all, everything is perfect =) cant wait to see our little ivey!

26 WEEKS- hiiiii =) we are 26 weeks pregnant today! yay! i have been able to eat lately, i think ive gained like a million pounds in the past 2 weeks-- oops! ivey is moving around a lot like always, she goes through lazy lazy moments where she only wiggles and situates herself, then sometimes she kicks so hard it hurts! ive been sleeping like a baby at night and having huge energy bursts during the day.. i feel like supermom. last night, i changed all the old light bulbs with the newer low-energy bulbs, rearranged furniture, fixed dinner, cleaned up, gave both kids a bath and got them dressed for bed, got both 2 YEAR OLDS TO LAY DOWN FOR BED IN THEIR OWN BEDS without the help of donovan, and i did a whole bunch of other stuff i cant remember.. but i did it all without getting tired and it was nice to let donovan sit back and relax for a couple hours. its so nice to have donovan around because he helps out a lot around the house, and he knows that cleaning and hard work pays off. our house is beautiful and we have something to look forward to every second of the day. back to the pregnancy, im loving being pregnant, i love the cute little belly, i love how clothes look on me =) i think i might miss being pregnant when ivey comes, but ill be glad to have her! donovans getting so excited, i always catch him talking to my belly when im sleeping =)
andd what else?? my 19th birthday is tomorrow! im going to stay at home with d and issy tomorrow and enjoy it.. unfortunately we cant get jaden =(... and then on saturday i will get to see the rest of the fam and in the evening we are all going out for dinner downtown =)

23 WEEKS 4 DAYS- i had another doctors appointment yesterday, on the 7th. i have lost a total of 17 pounds this pregnancy, and within the past 4 weeks i have gained 0.2 lbs back, even though by this point i should have gained like 15 lbs. thats fine with me, because now i am the same weight that i was when i was pregnant with isabelle at this time!! the baby's heartrate was strong. my fundal height was measuring at 25 weeks instead of 23w3d. my next dr's appt is on feb. 4th (i will be about 28 weeks), and that day i will also have the glucose test to screen for gestational diabetes. after that, my ob appointments will be every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, and then they will be every week! my next u/s is around 28 weeks too, and then i will have an u/s every 2 weeks after that until 32 weeks, then after 32 weeks i will have an u/s every week until i deliver!
