Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

Are you overdue or you didn't update your page??

We made it this far, and if the only thing we have to worry about is that our babies are a little on the small side then we're REALLY lucky, don't you think? I'm sure the baby is fine. Keep us posted after yr next scan!

hey I just got my baby's weight checked today and my little guy weighed in at 3 pounds and 7 ounces and my doc said he was small too and that he is just gonna keep an eye on his growth...so I guess im just telling you that you arent alone but I know much more about this subject wish I could help ya girl.

bon2 - Wednesday, 30 Jan
hi I am having the same problem. I'm having another growth scan next week. They said the baby could be small because of my husband and I being short or it could be a few different things or nothing. So now im just nervous. They really couldnt give me any answers. How many weeks small did they say you were?

People tell me that I don't look THAT big for where I'm at. It makes me feel like there's something wrong but I know there probably isn't anything wrong. I'm sure your baby is just fine too! :) Good luck.

Speaking as someone who has dealt with the less than ideal 'father' before finding mister right, 'Let him go.' First of all, if you have to have a DNA test to prove he is the 'father' do you really want him any where near your child. Secondly, with child support comes visitation rights. Speaking from experience, that doesn't always work out the way you want. I live in NC. Once a judge court orders child support, they'll court order visitation as well. And unfortunately, at least here, visitation and child support don't go hand in hand. You would have no right to deny him visitation even if he didn't pay child support. Right now what you need is to be surrounded by loving and supportive people. Your going to be a mommy in less than 10 weeks. Concentrate on your baby and plan for the future. And if that future doesn't include a man, so be it. That beautiful baby will not be loved any less b/c your a single mom! Best of luck and God bless!

Idk if you 2 are 2gether or not but if he wants gone, it may be better to let him go. The stress men like him cause is never worth it. Your baby will be here soon and you'll have someone to love who's most definatley gonna love you back :) Keep smiling and know that with faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and trust in Him all things are possible!

Im sure after the dna test proves that the baby is his he'll be more supportive. He's probably just scared. But idk you, so im not gonna say too much about that. But him leaving isn't gonna stop him from having to pay child support. If the dna test says it's his, then he's gonna have to pay either way, if he wants to be around or not. But try not to get too stressed out about it while you're still pregnant, it's not good for the baby. But good luck with everything. I hope everything works out.

What an insult...why is he feeling the need to take a dna test. He and his family sound like they are just running away like cowards. I hope this is not going to cause you too much hardship. Best away from people like that (in my simlistic opinion).

thanks. congrats to u too!!

I get wic as well as my mom but sometimes its not enough. she will apply for food stamps since i may not be able to get them on my own since i am living with her. but i tought if u were a teen and pregnant u were 'considered' emancipated so i dont know. and the only thing that my bf would have to pay back would be if i was on cash assistance.
Thanks 4 the advice

I had somehing similar happen to me. One morning I woke up and turned from sleeping on my side to my back so I could stretch before getting out of bed. Well I felt an exruciating pain in my back and I could not get out bed on my own. I was in constant pain for the next 4 days, and then one day I also felt the baby move or flip and the pain was gone. But I was scared for a while! I am glad to hear you are doing better.

momof2.5 - Wednesday, 26 Dec
wow it sounds like you had a bit of a scare. I am not having any back pains but lots of pain in my pelvic area. The doc says it is fine.

nienna - Thursday, 20 Dec
I saw you were concerned about feeling baby's movements lower down instead of up by your ribs. I just wanted to reassure you that it's perfectly fine. My little one is sitting upside-down and really low in my pelvis so I feel most of my movements just above my hairline to my belly button. Every once in awhile she decides to kick and I get to feel her feet up high. If you have major worries- just call your doctor, but again, I'm sure that that is 'normal' for you! Congrats!

newbaby1 - Wednesday, 19 Dec
Hi! I feel everything down low too. I was wondering when I will feel it in my ribs as well. At least I know I am not alone! LOL

Hey there. I planned and had my shower already about 2 weeks ago I had it at my moms place but there was only 20 ladies i invited. things went fine. I supplied the cooldrink and everyone bought a plate of eats. My best friends were in charge of the games and other stuff. I have 3 pics on my page from it. Just relax it will go fine and if it doesnt well at least you can laugh it off because its not worth the stess. My mom was more stressed then me she even bought fancy toilet paper so the guest didnt have to use her cheap toilet paper. lol. good luck

Hey, mom and mom in law doing my shower. I was against it at first but it was nice to pick registry items with my mom (she then went to the store to check every one!). It took frking ten hours all together. I think about 30 women are being invited. Family and close friends. babiesrus was easy to register with online and then you can use the online reg or the store or toysrus. Good luck!! L
